ok this is not your typical "shove a wire in the spring fix for the AGI... this is a compete overhaul of the bottom base and positive center post and i will show you how to do it....the agi is only 10$ at 101vapes right now and this fix only cost 3$ so for 13$ you can have an amazing genny !!!

this fix drasticly reduces the voltage drop, and eliminates the need for the spring and even fixed my bottom 510 leak issue ! it will allow easyer assembly and make your AGI hit like a frieght train !!!

ok the items needed are...

a short piece of 1/8 rod... copper is best, then aluminum, then brass, you can use steel but we want as little voltage drop as possable so choose the best conductor available.

a dremal or a hack saw

a 1/16th drill bit or tappered reamer for dremal

a tape measurer or vernier caliper.

a pair of needle nose pliers

..........................................................................................
this is the rods you need

cut a piece to about 1.1in

now chuck it in the dremal or your hand lol and file the nose round so it fits into the agi's top cap 510 connector perfectly, then trim it to 1.04 inches or there abouts depending on how long you want the post to sit down in your mods 510 connector.
IMG_20140123_134211.jpg

now take your stock agi base and remove the spring then press out the positive post through the bottom.

ok now that the post is out you need to press in the new brass or copper post in....

IMG_20140123_134406.jpg
IMG_20140123_134416 (2).jpg

now thread on your center tube, and make shure the new post is all the way pushed into the base so its flush with the 510 connector
IMG_20140123_134432.jpg

now put on the glass and then begin to thread on the top and as you thread it on the new rods tpered end will sit snugly into the top base and as its threading will get pushed down to its proper fit and leave a small amount hanging down at the 510. trim this off when done with a file if nessasary..... mine only hang down 1mm so it was perfect as is and needed no triming or filing.

ok ok now you should be done and left with this.... a perfectly fixed AGI !!!
IMG_20140123_134520.jpg

the 1/16th drill bit was to drill out your air hole ! lol i forgot to add that in but you can do it now if you feel nessasary ....

now screw it on your mod and adjust the mods 510 center screw to your new post and enjoy !!!!

LOL.............. after all that i still just took it apart and i am useing it soley as a dripper lol lol lol.....i just love a good dripper !!!

this mod was to show you guys how easy this genny is to fix PROPERLY with only simple hand tools and a 1/8th rod 1.04 in long

this is the most reliable fix there is and you will never have to worry about springs, copper wire peices or missing parts ever again !

if you cant find a 1/8th rod you can actualy cut the shank off of one of your old dremal bits, they are 1/8th standard size... and use that for the post !!! just dont use the shank of a tungston carbide cutter lol its a poor conductor, use a steel shank bit like the end of a sanding wheel.
