ahhh!!! never again!!! the pain!!

one thing i hope never happens to anyone of you guys/girls!

I had a 30 ml bottle laying around and thought let's put some in a smaller 10ml bottle, so removed the drop cap thing :-S from the 10 ml bottle and put the drop cap thingie from the 30 ml ( yeah again ) in the 10 ml bottle.
Started pushing but didn't notice nothing went in to the 10 ml bottle and at that moment the drop cap thingie (yeah i know) of the 30ml bottle blew of and threw a expolsion of e-juice into my eye!!
And really not a little bit! a whole stream into my right eye!!

After this i can tell you: DAMNNNN this hurts like a *******

washed and rinsed my eye for 10 min with water and my eye now looks like a tomato haha
Atleast the stinging is over now and the pain starts to go down now


wel what happened: the drop cap thingie from the 30 ml had no hole in it (never had this before) so pushed and the pressure launched the cap of :-(
i'm watching out next time!

people be warned and always check youre drop cap thingie's (this was the last time i used that word ever )

Yes, juice in the eye is common and very painful! It sucks!

This is a good warning. Sorry you had to experience it before sharing. The drop cap thingies (I'll use that too) on any of these bottles is only pressed in, so it doesn't take a whole lot of pressure to pop one off.

Ouch! Feel your pain. I've gotten several 30ml bottles that had less than stellar "holes" in the cap. Just to be sure, last week I put a hot needle through all my caps to ensure I would not have something like what happened to you, happen to me!

Its even worse when its HOT e-juice. I had my drip tip off once, and hit the button...POP! hot e-juice in the eyeball. My wife thought I was dying. Looking back its funny to me now, but when it happened not so much.

I'll be doing what supplydaddy says with all my bottle's now.

I'm having an amazing nicotine rush at the moment didn't wash it of my face good enough i guess, feels like the first time smoking!

looking at the bottle i think i had about 7/8 ml's in my face lol

Why was the juice hot?!

because I had pushed the fire button whilst rotating my PV towards my face. It may not have been hot, but it felt like magma in my eyeball, so I assume when I fired it, it was hot when it gave a little snap, crackle, pop right into my eye.

..........................So in a nutshell you put the dropper nozzle, with no hole in it, from the 30ml bottle on to the 10ml bottle and it popped off like a champagne cork and the juice from the 10ml bottle squirted you in your eye. Right ?.

I bet everytime you switch nozzles from now on you'll check for a hole.
