so i've been drip vaping my 510 for 4 days now and have yet to flood my atty... until tonight.

I was flushing out my atty with some PG to clear out that awesome(but slightly overpowering) cinnacide flavor and i guess i didnt clear it out all the way before i put my strawberry cheesecake in it. put in 3 drops. took a drag... hardly any vapor! ahhh! ok... maybe my atty is too dry?! add another drop. take a drag, very little vapor again. also seemed to notice the atty was getting hotter quicker... panic mode. did i ruin my atty? i knew i shouldnt have messed with it!

calm down. OK, take off the atty... hmmm liquid on the threads! must be flooded. blow out the atty... add 2 drops. take a drag... not much vapor, but better... ok. 1 more drop...... bingo. big cloud! thats what i like to see! disaster averted! lesson learned!

just newbie observations... when atty is flooded, very little or no vapor. atty heats up fast. dont panic. remove atty, check for liquid on threads. blow out atty. listen for gurgles to go away and look at bridge. it should look dry. add 2-3 drops. let sit a few seconds. take a drag. should get some vapor. add 1-2 drops. good to go :)

i've read a lot about flooded attys, but until you've experienced it as a newbie, you dont really know what to expect :p

back to vaping!

Yea my girlfriend did that the other day but even worse i think, the atty would produce no vapor at all she thought the batt died so she switched and when it still did not work she just kept adding fluid. i just looked at her and said "i told you to read the forums" later that night i had a chance to clean it out and got it working again. I wish she would just listen.
