Keep Flooding my Atty

I have been vaping for about 2 months now. I have went from the store bought e cig to a ego XL and I have a box mod that I use every now and again. In that progression I have found my preference is to use a drip tip. The only caveat I have is that I keep flooding the atty. I normally drip 3 drops then when I can get that nasty metal taste three more drops then I feel the e liquid oozing down the side. (I think to myself crap just flooded the atty again). Or I get the occasional e liquid in my mouth. Does anybody have any better ideas on how now to flood the atty?

If you're starting with three drops then only add two more drops once the vapor drops off or the flavor changes to keep it going. Dripping takes a little practice, but you'll get it!

It's a learning curve, when I re-drip a flavor it's usually 1 drop, maybe 2
