After struggling with the Nano for several days (couldn't get rid of the burnt taste consistently) I ordered my first set of CE3's, should get them by the end of the week. In the meantime I went back to my original cartomizers I got with my starter kit several weeks ago. Filled a couple with some caramel-apple 50/50 from Mt Baker Vapor, screwed one on to my 70mm auto and started vaping away. Ahh... Now that's good vaping, little missy! Full taste, good TH, lots of vapor! Yeah, they're a PITA to fill, but this experience has taught me that it's probably a good idea to have some on hand because they're reliable and give a very satisfying vape when all else fails.

Now excuse me, I'm going to load a carto up with some chocolate-strawberry 50/50 from RAWR and do a little more tasty vaping. Happiness is a good vape! Oh yeah, baby!

SI's cartomizer is second to none. I've been using them now for over a year. They're easy to fill, easy to clean and give a consistent vape. They're my mainstay. I like the idea of the clear cartos and have tried some of them. The x2 clearo works well but I haven't had good luck with the ce3, too many hits with that burnt taste.

I'll continue to try the new clear cartos that come out but for the time being the plain ole cartomizer is my first choice. Especially since they came out with the ss carto. Love those ss cartos! Same taste, same care as the black ones, but they are so elegant! :)

You should always have a plan B, good for you. Cartos are my plan C since I still have 10 Clearos which are a breeze to clean you just have to remember to always use the same ones for the same flavors. :vapor: I sure will be glad when we get to test out the T-3, I think the boat sank!

I'm beginning to think that boat was hijacked by pirates. :glare:

If it loses flavor and vapor output it's time to add some more liquid. Cartos are my fallback as well. They do work and hold about a milliliter, the same as a CE3 or Nano. I have some of the stainless XLs as well and they hold 1.5ml, almost as much as a clearo. Incidentally, you can peel the black "skin" off a regular carto then clean the adhesive off with your method of choice, I use lacquer thinner but nail polish remover or Goof Off will work as well. You're left with a nice satin stainless carto.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it, your results and mileage may vary, no warrantee or guarantee is expressed or implied.

My best vape so far is with a freshly filled cartomizer bathed in a tank of my favorite juices. It just has the fullest flavor of any device I've tried.

I use the ce3's to test new juices because of the small form factor and the fact they are easily cleaned and reusable, unlike a cartomizer which needs to be pitched if I don't like the flavor, cleaning them is such a pita.

I loved the clearomizers when I was still using my X2's. But they weren't always consistant, and sometimes leaked more than I liked. I still have some unused ones that I may try on my BB again, and I am looking forward to everyone's reviews of the T3's when they come out.

my good ole carto cleaning used to be a childs medicine plunger syringe looking thing with an old rubber grip peice from a pen and hot water... the only thing I've changed is I use vodka instead of hot water now works way better and even brought a few back from disgusting juice tastes.... I'm using CE3's mostly but I have 2 cartos with my alldays that I keep stowed away for emergencies...

I agree that the carto tanks are nice and convenient. I have only used a 3.5ml and they are easy to fill and refill and produce great vapor and flavor. The only problem I had was that they only worked on my manual X2 batteries.

As for the clearos, I have learned that they don't leak if you fill them while attached to the batteries. I know this is counter-intuitive but it has worked for me. In the last 3-4 weeks, I haven't had 1 leak or even a drop on my battery post since I started filling them on the battery. The less you take them off and on, the better they work. I have a renewed fondness for the clearos now and will continue to use them over cartomizers.

Having said that, I will happily switch from the clearos to the T3 for the 3ml tank and bottom coil. If these work as well as Imagine says, I would not hesitate to use them as my main go to device with the X2.

Interesting comment on the fill with battery on.Thinking this creates a vacuum effect, maybe that is the key.

I just posted a comment similar to this one in another thread, but it seems to apply here, even more.

I'm sitting here looking a five different liquid delivery systems. A cartomizer, a clearo, a CE3, a Nano and a product from another vendor. The CE3 is the best, so far to me anyway, even with all of its quirks and problems. The clearo comes next simply because it's easy to fill. The Nano and the one from another vendor just don't work for me at all, too many problems from flavor to leaks and filling. When I want dependability, I seem to go back to a plain old carto. No leaks unless I mess up and over fill it and if the flavor goes off it's telling me it's time for a refill. The whole thing makes me wonder why I'm wasting my time and money chasing these new, improved, solutions. And this is progress?
