Actually this could be a good thing, since you found it nasty and unsatisfying.

Shortly after I started vaping in May, I tried one cigarette and felt the same way. Never looked back. It confirmed I made the right decision to start vaping.

I’m planning to try a cigarette on my one year quitting anniversary. I don’t think it will taste nasty, because I use tobacco flavored eliquid. It might seem odd but I can’t really remember what was different about analogs except that you could puff harder and faster. Of course there’s always that “this can kill you” thing.

Don't sweat it, man. According to your banner, in the past two months you've smoked ONE while you've NOT smoked 1320! I'd say the vaping is winning over the smokes in that battle, and quite handily. Pat yourself on the back and have a vape to celebrate!

Definitely no need to be hard on yourself. I've done that myself over the past two years for various reasons. Batteries died at an inopportune time, etc. The road gets a lot smoother the longer you've traveled it. Keep your eye on the positive points.

I have been using the X2 a lot and it was funny how small the cigarettes were..................

Either way, it tasted like sh#t and didnt accomplish the goal I was thinking smoking would so I agree - just reminds me I dont need them.

I do okay without analogs until I go on a motorcycle ride. Everyone I ride with is either an analog smoker or a non-smoker. Sometimes it just seems easier smoke one of my husbands than to get it out of my bag, put it together....I know, it's pure laziness on my part. Doing better though. Vaped on the Skyline Drive ride last week and nobody said a word. Bought another battery and charger so I won't be able to have a dead battery as an excuse! Smoked less than 10 analogs in 2 months!

That’s too bad. It’s kinda cool to see people from other forums. I live in Newport News and grew up in near Buckhannon WV. I don’t know of any brick-and-mortar stores in Virginia that specialize in ecig stuff. You should think about coming to Vapercon in Richmond on the 12th and 13th.

I've actually been thinking a lot lately about firing one up, for old times sake. But, I did try one a few days after I made the switch and agree it tastes like ...... That's what's keeping me from actually firing one up... Not sure why I still want it though lol...

Don't be too hard on yourself. You smoked one cig instead of the 1,000 you could have had since you started vaping. You're still way ahead.

Every few months I make that mistake. I hit a wall and just want one, so I light up. Last time I did that was sometime in July and I actually puked. There was hardly any smoke coming out of the thing. I get far more vapor from even a 78mm than I do smoke from a cig, it tastes horrible, it singes my taste buds, and although I don't mind fresh smell, I get stale 10 minutes later. I don't know if the crave will ever outweigh the memory of that last one again.

No worries, friend ! I have one every once in a while... I am able to do that because it doesn't fuse any further cravings, exactly because of what you said - They Taste NASTY !

I always feel like having a shower and brush my teeth for 15 minutes after I have one... How could I do this 20 times a day, every day for all those years !? Jeez...

If you smoke once in a while to remind you how much better vaping is, that should not be a problem.

My problem is when i plan badly', and end up with nothing but crappy juices, and while waiting for another order to get to my place, and weighing the pro's and con's of god awful juice or a cigarette, the cigarette usually wins. and i hate it, and i hate the mailman for taking so bloody long and making me smoke. so its everyones fault but mine'..okay'???.........lol........no, but maaaan', you really got plan out the juice ordering correctly or your screwed. if you run out of tobacco juices and only having desserts', your seriously screwed...try drinking a beer with caramel cookie juice.. 'it aint happening'....so yeah there's that...

Don't worry about smoking just one cigarette, especially since you found it unsatisfying. If anything, I think that shows you are probably now a non-tobacco user for real. I have come VERY close to buying a pack but, so far, have managed not to.
