That's a really excellent write-up. Thank you. Funny, it was a somewhat negative review, but it wound up making it more appealing to me. Any changes since? Also, you say "synthetic" but seems likely to be an actual NET. Thought all of Wlad's tobaccos are. No?

haha! aromatic rant! Desperado has been interesting for me. It's hinting at something really nice. Did you let it steep long? (I'm not apologizing for using that term dammit!) I wonder if you're the one who got me to try it. will have to read back. I'm certainly curious about Dulce Cubanito now. I wondered if Dulce was related to Dulce de Leche, and and as such hinted at caramel, but I'm guessing not.

It has to have been me. I don't remember any other Desperado evangelists. I think that one is for me what Sahara is for others here. Sahara comes across as perfume to me. I dig Desperado out of the bottle but it improves significantly with a steep. I'd send you some Cubanito but now I'm sure I'll suck it all down and likely order another.

Nicely put. If you see magic, don't bother breaking the spell. I'm usually most intent on seeing behind the stage specifically when the magic act didn't seduce me. And hey that compaillette could've come from a 300-year old starter!

My mom used to keep a starter in the fridge. Looked like something out of Guillermo del Toro film, and it really creeped me out to know it was actually alive, but it did make good bread.

I have a hard time shooting the moon.. heh as it were even with a good camera and tripod. Never stops me from trying. Guess I should read up on the techniques. Wish I had seen it over the Pacific. Could have done. It's only 40 minutes away. Glad you did, at least!

Excellent write up, Jerms. I must be among those who like it more, though. When I think arti-bacco, Halo is the first name that comes to mind (some Vapor Station, some Want2Vape) and at least for me, this has none of their troubles. I'm chasing this thing as Sharon would say.

Hi anyone experiencing delays with the shipping from Ahlusion after the change over? I ordered a single 60 ml bottle on last Saturday...couldn't believe they were open so i pulled the trigger...got a order pending email and i haven't heard anything more since. Hearing all these super quick turnover times i wonder if my order is pending in hyperspace somewhere...

Thanks. It did have some positives, and it was easy to finish the bottle, but for Ahlusion it was more of a miss than a hit for me.

As far as I know all of Ahlusion's tobaccos contain NET, but some also contain synthetic tobacco flavoring. DC I'm pretty sure is a hybrid NET/arti based on the flavor I got. It did have the oily bass notes of dark tobacco, but I also tasted a synthetic Cuban Cigar flavor. I'm pretty sure Sahara is a hybid NET too, but with that one I really like the synthetic flavoring used.

My guess is how much someone likes DC will be based a large part on how much they like the synthetic side. The NET aspect that I noticed was solid, but seemed to play a minor role.

*note, this is my opinions based on my own guesses of how these are made, not based on confirmed facts.

Sharon, expect some 30ml bottles of Murdoch's 710 and Mellow Melange in your next box. I foolishly spent $25 a pop on these after shipping as no samples were available. And if they don't work for you, PIF them things so I can pretend I didn't throw $50 away on bush league liquid.

Ooo, I'd call on that. I ordered on Monday? Shipped Wednesday, should be here tomorrow.

In other news: I've been informed that the feedback emails are temporarily on hold until "everything is back in working order". But I'm happy to know we can still expect one at some point.

Yah, something's gotta be wrong there. You should give them a call. It's prolly some sort of glitch, or yah hyperspace, or cyberspace, or just plain ole lost in the shuffle.

Thanks much I'm proud of that rating system because I think it can help NET fans to figure out if a NET is of they type they are interested in; especially by mentioning the level of sweetness and tobacco impact. Some people only want non-sweet NET, some avoid really aggressive NET, etc.

I only review NET. Mainly because they are a category of vapes I have the most experience in. While my reviews contain a lot of personal opinion, I also want to show how they rate compared to other NET. Fruit, dessert, drink, and even synthetic tobacco vapes I haven't had enough variety to compare to what else is available, so a review of them would tend to be ALL opinion, which I freely share during regular posting lol.
