anyone try requesting menthol to be added to the juices and any coupon code available the moment?

Some flavors come with the option of adding levels of mint/menthol, some do not seem to.

I'm not aware of Ahlusion doing coupon codes per se, they instead will send you a follow-up email after each order asking for feedback requests on the order flavors to help them create a personal flavor profile for you. That email will contain a 15% off code on your next order. You will get these emails after each order.

I received my Ahlusion order today. Tested the 2 I was most excited about - Strawberry Vanilla Cake and Pineapple USD Cake.
Hmmm. While they didn't taste BAD, they tasted identical and just had a sweet flavor.. I guess kinda cakey. I couldn't get either a strawberry nor pineapple note at all. REALLY hoping that some steep time will improve these.

I was impressed they sent a 10ml sample though.

Are you shaking them really hard before use? Steeping will change these a lot, but the fruit is there from the beginning, and they are nothing alike.

I think they would add menthol to anything. Just request it in your comments on the checkout page. You might call first to discuss the level of menthol too. And don't forget to request a sample if your juice order is over $20!

Ok guys really dumb question- I got my feedback request email from my first order. Am I supposed to reply directly to the email with my thoughts, or is there like a form I'm supposed to fill out on the site or something?

Just reply to the email. I didn't know either when I got the first email, I finally just responded to it with an "I hope this is right" reply lol

Just mention this to Wlad in your feedback request, that you'd like to see more apple, less cinnamon, etc. and the next time you order this flavor, it will be customized to your specifications. That's what's great about Ahlusion and their whole profiling concept, and why it's important to give feedback for the juices you order. :)

Yes thanks, I'm still waiting to hear back. I sent my feedback in earlier in the week and I did have a few suggestions for improvement. So hopefully it has been received and is being considered. Do you know what the usual time frame is for them to respond to feedback?

I sent my feedback today around noon and had a reply by 2. I then replied again to answer questions that were asked and had another response within an hour. Good communication.

Huh... That's weird. Maybe i'll send mine again. I think I sent it on Tuesday so its been ample time...

Do send again just to make sure. I know Wlad had some problems with outgoing mail a week or so back as he replied to one of mine and I never received his reply. I pinged him again on it and he replied the next day, dunno what happened to that email that went missing but perhaps your reply was lost in the same Bermuda Triangle.

Does he normally reply to the feedback emails? I had assumed they just took the feedback and adjusted the persons profile accordingly, but that's cool if they reply to them. I've never taken advantage of the personal profile feature as I want to try the juices as is, but it's something to consider doing.

Yep I did. Maybe my tongue is being wacky between the combo of only being off analogs for a week and the fact that I've been trying so many flavors ...I got a redic amount of vapemail this week and rotating between 4 or 5 flavors a day. Not giving up on them by any means.

However, I just filled up with their Boba Tea and I'm digging it.

I agree... just let them steep and they'll be fine. When I first received WW Apple and Cherry, I mostly tasted "sweet". The fruit flavors POPPED in about a week

I don't usually get any reply, unless something I say isn't clear. But I don't often ask for changes either. My experience has been that Wlad knows his flavors, and that there are reasons they're balanced as they are; typically my ideas for more-of-this-and-less-of-that don't add up to juice that's better than the original. Also, many of them aren't fully developed for weeks, so I don't make flavor judgements till long after those emails get to me. So what I do is use the coupon codes right away, but reply to the emails much later.

I just got an order from Ahlusion, Peachy Criminal, Smooth Criminal, Tiramisu, Watermelon Jubelance, and Gold Rising. They all smelled pretty good except the gold rising. That just smells bad, it smells like a mixture of acetone, gasoline, and cat pee. I opened the bottle and let it sit for 20 hours or so, but it still has that smell although it isn't as strong. I'm going to give it a good shake and air it out some more. I sure hope that steeping will help this. Maybe I got a bad batch?

Airing is really only needed for juices with alcohol and Wlad recommends not doing for his. However, a good period of steeping may help. I haven't tried Gold Rising, so I can write directly about that one. It's entirely possible, of course, that it's just not your cuppa.

I ordered a bottle of honey tobacco from another vendor a few weeks ago. I took the cap off, was letting it breathe, then did the daily shake thing for a few days before I finally smelled it. And to me, it smelled like alcohol, like an astringent/alcohol smell and almost chemically, it really surprised me. I emailed the vendor, thinking the same thing - maybe I got a bad batch or some particular steeping measures are required. The vendor asked me if it could be the fermented honey I am smelling in it....BINGO. As soon as he said that and I took another whiff, I could tell that is exactly what I was smelling. I haven't tried Gold Rising, so can't say what that smells like or compare the two. But, maybe it's the same thing - fermented honey? Just a thought...

P.S. This other vendor's tobacco is also a NET and after a couple of weeks, the scent has mellowed and the taste is fine.

I had great hopes for Gold Rising as well, and I must concur, it's pretty nasty. I've been steeping mine for 14 days now and there is no detectable difference in smell or taste. I would liken it to vaping furniture polish, and it vapes better than it smells. It appears that even the most hardcore fans here don't care for it. I'll try it again in a week but if it doesn't improve, it's going down the drain. This is just one of six juices I ordered from Ahlusion and so far I can't say I really like any of them. Two are aromatics, three are tobaccos, and one is Grape Vine (already listed on Craigslist). I'm not ready to throw in the towel just yet on this vendor but in one more week I will pass my own personal judgement and either keep or dispose of all of it. FWFW, I had a couple good exchanges with Wlad using the feedback dialogue. I mean no disrespect to him here and I believe he is truly interested in offering good service. I just don't know if he is more interested in fact checking all his fancy digital order and mixing reporting software and insisting that it's perfect based on his computer reports and his highly accurate mixing machinery, or actually creating something that tastes good.

I tried Tiramisu in my Arrow at 14 days. It smells really nice now but, sadly, the flavor is meh. Almost nonexistent still. I got this in 70/30 VG/PG and I have a feeling it should have been 50/50 or even higher PG. Don't think I'll re-order, however.

Meanwhile, Cafe au lait has a slight peppery aroma after 6 days of steeping. It's not unpleasant smelling, but odd. I wonder how it will turn out.

Smooth Criminal smells nice after 6 days, but I'm going to hold off for a couple more weeks before vaping.

So far, for me, two winners: Lime Creme and Mango Lassi.
