THIS is the nicest looking rig I've seen in 5 months... err, since I started vaping.
So, it looks like a mechanical, which requires and ohm meter to build coils and to know the resistance to keep it all safe.
Is this correct? and should the batteries be flat/button top, protected or not?

I found it online at Vapourart but it's a version 3
It's also available at other places as V 1.5, 2.3 and 2.5 and I understand the revs are basically upgrades but is there a preference?

any US distributors? I haven't found them yet.

Did not find an Aqua like the pic. really pretty. :)

This is a mechanical mod.

In mechanical mods, most people recommend AW IMR's which are unprotected button tops. Others button tops will work as well. Note that protected batteries are bit larger than unprotected.

Mechanical mods do not require a an ohm meter. If you put a rebuildable atty on it, like an RBA or Kayfun, then you need (err, must have) the ohm meter. Mechanical mods do not have any protections like a VV or VW mod such as short circuit cut-offs. If you build a coil, and it has a short, you could fry the battery or melt the bottom spring. The bottom springs are designed as a fail safe, so if it shorts and overheats the spring will melt (break) to cut the circuit. If that does happen you can simply replace the spring. The ohm meter will help prevent the mod from shorting.

The other thing the ohm meter is good for is checking the resistance of coils you build for rebuilable atomizers. Knowing the resistance will help you get the best vape. Mechanical cannot regulate the voltage/wattage so getting the right resistance on the coil is key to getting a great vape from these.

You can use anything on these like a protank, vivi nova, etc. However, most people seem to use some type of an RBA.

Hope that helps!

I know, but I wouldn't know considering how much I bite my tongue! But as Kate Bush said, "I kept it in a cage; watched it weeping, but I made it stay."

But then again, after saying that, I guess I just walked into a paraleipsis.

Anyway, I am down to a couple mL of Jungle Juice and I just finished my Shipwreck (too many more to go. LOL). As much as I hate having to hold off from ordering my favs, I am also enjoying finally finishing off some of my Ahlusion liquids.

I have not made an Ahlusion purchase in about 7 weeks. Trying to lower the stock before dipping into their pool again. Like you, this gives me a chance to give some other juices a second look. I almost pulled the trigger on that crazy large order the other day, but held off. And there are new juices (Ahlusion Mocha, Just Criminal, Strawberry Sunset) that I'd like to try when I return to ordering again.

Thank you, It actually is a Version one from GP that I added a new switch and top cap for an updated version. This is the standard GP v2.5
KUsVNaI.jpg

To follow up Akdare, The past versions will no longer be produced as the V3 is among us and will sport new caps and buttons.
GP buttons/switches are known throughout as the top out there. I am asked on the Caravela forum to sell them so they can use them. I also use them. Pedro's switches are fantastic but, nothing compares to a GP.
The 2.5 and earlier switches and the caps will fit on any 20x1 threaded tube but, George and Perseas have calibrated the threads as close as humanly possible for the PAPS so that the conductivity suffers little loss.(more parts more loss).
The new switches will also be vented so we will lose the holes in the tube for battery venting. The vents will be hidden behind the housing.
GP sees all of their devices to be connected and evolve on their own taking history with their new production.

I honestly would consider the PAPS X for you as it is an all in one device and gorgeous.
Here is a bit of a blog that will give some insight.

Oh my goodness!!

I got Vanilla WW when it was first released, because I love vanilla tobaccos on principle. :D

Alas, I did not care for it. Really did not care for it. Boo hoo hoo! Was expecting to have my mind blown, and couldn't even finish the 10ml bottle. :(

A few weeks ago, I saw someone (Jerms?) posting about how Wlad was also not satisfied with VWW in its first iteration, and had tweaked the juice in the interim. So . . . . I ordered another 10ml bottle.

Eureka!!! Delicious!!!! Mind now blown! :w00t::w00t:

I don't just LOVE the "new" VWW; I ADORE it.:drool:

Hooray! My Ahlusion collection now has a Vanilla tobacco!!

Like Mann and B&J, I too have been on a purchasing freeze. I now have two new juices to add to my 30ml must-haves: Vanilla Wild Wood and Cherry River Tree (it's cherries, cherries, cherries, and a light tobacco! Who even needs tobacco, when you've got CHERRIES!). So it's off to the website I go!! :)

Huuurrrrayyyyyyy! I'm excited to try Vanilla WW now. Like some of you, not purchasing right now.. or for the forseeable future. My list of must-try next Ahl juices is getting big, gonna be a big order when that happens!

Then this might explain my like at times or so so at other times towards VWW.

I ordered my first one on Jan. 05th so I will try it again in the next order since I like Vanilla.

I only use single coils in my IGO-W, works great.

Me too. I could only build one and was like PHEW enough of that! I bought mine not knowing what it was. I was at a coil building class and needed something. The guy that sold it to me drilled an air hole in it for me. I get a very airy hit and I do not get all the flavor I feel I am supposed to get. Is this big air hole the reason for no flavor? I get tons of flavor (Ahlusions Strawberry and Banana Cream) in a PT but not so much in this dripper. From what I read that is backwards from what most folks say.

Yes, that is the reason. You get big clouds and a loose draw at the cost of flavor.

Jerms (or anyone), what is the oldest liquid that you still have from your first days of purchasing? Do you still have any relics lying around? What about your oldest Ahlusion liquid?

apple and winter ww good but not reorders
tarte tartin apple I accidently got 70 vg which at one point made it really good but seems to be getting weaker now
boba tea I really like this one but vape here and there nice relaxing vape
sahara blend

mainly because I don't vape anything everyday a 30 ml can last me 4 months
even a 10 ml can last me 4 months as I try to see how it develops over time

Does your IGO-W have two airholes? If so, need to cover one up if only using one coil, just one hole that points right at the coil and the coil as close to the airhole as you can get it. If it's just one big airhole I'd bring it back and exchange the cap for one with the normal stock airhole it comes with if you can. All of my drippers I leave the airhole stock, so the draw is similar to other stuff. Big airholes are for doing lung hits with very low resistance coils for cloud chasers.

Not I. My stuff gets vaped, gifted, or tossed, I don't keep around juice I'm not using. Except Ravyn, still have some of that.

Lately juice can last me 4 months before I get a chance to start vaping it lol. I've just started digging into orders I made last Thanksgiving.

Hmm...I no longer own the juices I had from about a year ago -- I vaped all but Vecchio Blend, lol. When I PIF'd, it was maybe 9 months old? Tried it before passing it on. Currently I have some Peachy Criminal from last July. Oh, and some Honey Cured from June 2013.

In the non-Ahlusion department: Gorilla Juice, Boba's Bounty, Blend 4, Christy's Cappucino, Blueberry Crumb from November 2012, Vita Bella from February 2013, some Vapealicious (Golden Gate Punch, Peach Bellini Tea, and something that is melon flavored) from January 2013, Legend (Gandalf is on the bottle) from September 2012. I'm sure there's about 7 to 10 I'm missing.
