I really wonder if they had a bad batch of aeros. Seems like after Mann complained about his Devil Dog, that's when they all got pulled.

Let me know how your new Vurley is, vcj. I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet, but I'm really thinking about it.

ya know you are right didn't even realize it
but that is the exact time

On topic, how long on average do Ahl juices need to be steeped in your experience?

Off topic, Isn't that talk about Tapatalk the kind of conversation in an AHLUSION juice thread that the mods were referring to? I came to find info about what I ordered as I anxiously await to try it, not to read about your difficulties with a 3rd party app on your phones... There is an option to discuss things in private messages.

In any case, the recent posts are making me wish I tried the lime cream now. I didn't bother cuz I've disliked every citrus flavor I've tried thus far.

I'm reading these posts about how light Vurley has been, and although I tend to agree regarding its strength in comparison with the other aromatics, it's still knock me in the face tobacco strength. For me, it's like a 7 on the tobacco Richter scale, lol. I've gotten that with all the aromatics I've tried. And I've posted this earlier, but with all the aromatics I've ordered, I have gotten the same base blast of tobacco, and a mere hint of the other fruits or flavor thrown in there.

I did purchase almost all within a few months of each other, however, with Smokin' Cherries and Maple Burley the most recent. Smokin' Cherries was not how I envisioned it. Maple Burley was much more than I envisioned. So, I'm not so sure about the tobacco being bad.....just something, ionno.

Me too. I did like Smokin' Cherries, but wasn't wowed. To be fair, I tried it after Sweet Georgia Peach, which super wowed me. Maple Burley I was skeptical but I'm in lurve with it at this time.

I just wanted to let other members know that Ahlusion ROCKS! Their shipping times have decreased and now they offer USPS Priority Mail shipping again. My last two order were shipped that way.

In addition, the last 5 orders I received from them they ALWAYS overfill the bottles. That is, instead of just receiving the standard 30ml. of juice they top it up to the the neck of the bottle which is about 4ml. more juice! So you're getting a little more than 10% extra and not being charged for it.

Now that is what I call great customer service! This company is definitely customer oriented and it shows in their very high quality of juices, how they fill the bottles and speedier order fulfillment times.

To those who've never tried Ahlusion's eliquid products, I highly suggest you try them... you will not be disappointed! :2cool:

Wrong answer!! This is the correct answer:

Although I love Lime Cream like a fat vaper loves Stripper Cake, Lemon Cream is in another stratosphere where love is too meager a word describe our relationship. :p

Coco Berry Cream is to vaping as air is to life, a necessity. Hark the herald angels sing, "we all love the Coco Berry Cream!"

Your tapatalk looks a lot different than mine. Mine's fully updated, but I'm guessing you have a newer version of android than I do, my phone is a few years old.

My phone is probably 2 years old and change. Galaxy S2, Jellybean. Tapatalk v. 4.4.2. I have it set to "dark mode."

Agreed Vurley is only light in comparison to other aero's
its not light in comparison to WW's

Love that maple burley too

I have read what was going on with your smoking cherries
I did get the sense you had gotten a bad batch on that one

Smoking Cherries was actually next on my list to try
before I ended up getting a bottle of Vurley instead

going to try that one next

My android is.. hmmm, I forget, before Jellybean. Something like Pop Rocks or Candy Cigarette.

(Ahlusion needs a Candy Cigarette flavor. Mmm chalk)

Did you try using the search function? It depends what flavors to which you are referring. The aromatics don't require any steeping. I prefer to steep all my juices a minimum of two weeks, preferably a month. A juice like Smooth Criminal continually changes over the course of several months, some like it fresh and others like it with a lot of age. Without knowing which juice you are asking about it makes it hard to answer your question.

Asking about Tapatalk does not fall under the social thing the mods were referring to. ECF pushes the use of Tapatalk with the pop ups. When this program does not function properly with the site it directly affects the user experience in any ECF thread. It is not the social "good day, how are you doing" thing mentioned in the mod post.

I miss the "what's new" from the previous Allusion site. I am about to order and I like to see what the last few flavors were. I know most the others and I like to try new ones every order....
The first three flavors on the home page are the three most recent flavors added. However, I would prefer to be able to see more.

So - do you guys want to start an Ahlusion Social group? If so - we have to name moderators for it and apply for it.
I don't think we should start a social group and give ECF any excuses whatsoever to shut down this thread that is in a sensible location. What percentage of people are going to be able to figure out that they should go to the social groups to find advice and help for Ahlusion juices?

We stay on topic other than the odd foray into hardware. Also, keeping up with this thread can be a challenge and I doubt too many people would have the time to keep up with two Ahlusion threads.

I think the hardware discussions are particularly helpful for people who might be still be using newbie gear that is muting the layers and complexity of Ahlusion juices. Getting gear advice from a group of people who are self-selected flavor chasers rather than cloud chasers seems very useful and on-topic to me.

Word; maybe the first post in a thread could be edited to add "sticky information" and updated as needed. That would cut down on 99% of the "Hey, does Ahlusion give samples?" questions. Or people could, just maybe, use the "search thread" function available in both the PC site and app.
Good idea but not practical for any info that might ever need to be changed. There is a time limit on editing posts and ECF seems to feel pretty strongly about not changing that. Does anyone know if there is a time limit on editing ECF blogs? A blog might work for explaining Ahlusion's sample policy.

The truth of the matter is that some people are adept at search and will use it and some people won't due to a lack of skill or sometimes laziness. There is so much stress that can be involved in transitioning to vaping and the health stakes are so high that I personally don't mind answering the same question for the 999th time.

dripped some Vecchio yesterday and have Vurley should be in my mailbox today

It was the first aero I've tried and wanted to get some while I still had some Vecchio
because the vanilla really began to fade after3-4 weeks
and I had read that others used Vecchio to counter that on account it was so similar

It was my first aero and I had expected a huge tobacco impact
while it was present I found it mellow compared to some of the other aero's I have had
I agree that the tobacco in Vurley is smooth. It didn't have any "in your face" tobacco personality for me and lacked the ashy taste that I found in Honey Cured which was the only other aro I have tried. I would have no hesitation suggesting Vurley to someone who is just dipping their toes into tobaccos.

For me, cap off for 30 min max. Then vape and the Lime was way to strong, filled with mucho tartness. The cream base was MIA. /lol About 4 hours in my UC which is about a month steep and it was divine. Lime tone had smoothed and well balanced with the cream base. That's not to say that after trying it fresh you may love it or it may "turn" for you after one or two weeks. My guess is it needs some time to tone down if that helps you.

Enjoy
:)

I agree that steeping is needed with the creams to balance the acidic notes. However, Wlad has told me and others that caps of Ahlusion juices should only be taken off only very briefly before steeping.

Retired posted this.. "As I originally stated, we don't have a problem with supplier specific threads as long as they remain on topic. However, if the supplier is also an ECF registered supplier, those discussions should be held in their respective area/thread."

So doesn't pertain to us here for a couple reasons. This thread is one of the best large threads I've seen that stays on topic. I don't think the mods mind the occasional off-topic side-tracks, just don't want the mega-social-threads that serve mostly as a hang out with the topic just occasionally discussed.

That's my interpretation anyways. I don't think I'll have to rub my scent all over a new location, which is good, because my stank permeates well here.

Steeping times will depend on the particular juice, individual taste and VG/PG ratio. The best advice I can give is to drip to sample the juice right out vape mail and at least once a week thereafter to find what works best for you.

I hated citrus vapes from other vendors so it took me a bit time to work up my courage to take a leap of faith to order an Ahlusion citrus. So far, I've very much enjoyed the ones I've tried. I've found nothing of the sour or overly sweetened candy/processed food citrus flavors I previously detested.

I find that my 30VG/70PG Lime Cream needs a couple of weeks of steeping for the cream to take the acidic bite out of the lime. Higher VG juice will likely take longer.
