Have you asked him to make you a sample as your freebie? He made me Peachy Criminal with Lychee once.
How was that Lychee Criminal?

Actually, they DO have alcohol- it's right there on the label, and Wlad has confirmed it for me. I routinely ignore his recommendation, and leave the caps off for 24-48 hours in a closed drawer to let the alcohol evaporate. No alcohol, so no need to leave the caps off for more than a few minutes.

If yes, how long do you suggest i leave the cap off ?

The alcohol is not really noticeable to me like it is with other vendors.

You are absolutely right. Not sure how I never noticed that.

I've never left the caps off when steeping and that's worked for me.
I agree, I have tried over 20 flavors from Ahlusion and I do not notice any alcohol. Actually I vape all my Ahlusion right from the mail box. I never found steeping to improve, I like them fresh.
With that said, only one ejuice I have noticed the alcohol in and man do you notice it, Banana Fosters. This is the ONLY one I need to steep. Very potent if vaped right away. After a week to 2 weeks it's good. But for the rest I vape right away with no alcohol smell or taste.
Ok 10 days later I gave it another shot, this time with an RDA, not bad at allJust got my order!
Not a big fan (or a little fan lol) of the lemon cream
It has been my practice, based on the recommendations from Adam & Heather at HHV, to let new juice sit with caps off for 24-48 hours to allow any alcohol from the extracts to evaporate. (Some of us are "sensitive" to alcohol, even psychologically!) Wlad at Ahlusion says:
"Never leave the caps off on our e-liquids. We do not use alcohol based flavorings, at least not what other vendors use. By the time our flavorings are ready for use in e-liquids, there is less than 0.07% alcohol content! Steeping our e-liquids with caps off will introduce bacteria, mold, and or fungus."
FWIW....

I had trouble with Orange Nocturne. It had an boozy taste and a slight bitterness to me. I kept it for a few months and it just never truly matured into something I could enjoy. I finally gave it to a friend. I have over 20 flavors from Ahlusion and although there are a couple that are not for my tastes, they are all quality liquids. That was the only one that I could not enjoy in any way.
I would love that too...I LOVE all the wild woods soo much!! Asked for a maple river tree sample this time around...have you tried the river blends?
To the guys or gals asking about the differences between the tobaccos:
Ok, these are my impressions/thoughts about the differences, take it as me really knowing.....or not, lol.
All of Ahlusion's tobaccos are natural. I think the differences lie in impact, sweetness, dryness, and smokiness.
The house blends are low in impact and smokiness, from what I can ascertain. They also are the longest steepers of all. I'm not certain of their sweetness alone, because my favorites of this group (Maple and Cherry) are already comprised of sweet flavors. Never had the standalone House Blend. I think it's like 90% secondary flavor, 10% tobacco.
The river tree blends are a step up in tobacco impact or presence. Good level of sweetness, also paired with a smokey flavor. Eh, maybe 30% tobacco, after a long steep.
The wild woods are not too different than the river tree blends in that both have the smokey component. The smokiness seems more pronounced with the Wild Woods, though after generally a month, it recesses a bit. I think it's opposite for the river tree blends. River tree blends taste similar to the Wild Woods, but only after a loooong steep. I like their balance of flavoring and tobacco level the most. I also definitely prefer the Wild Woods out the box and with a steep, though the oldest Wild Wood I have is cherry, at almost 3 months old, and only about 4mls left. The rest I wore out like an old pair of dancing shoes (that means I vaped them quickly).
Smooth Criminal, Peachy Criminal, and I'm assuming Just Criminal since I've not tried it yet, are a bit different than the other blends. They start out sweet, some say messy, in their beginning; but they have the biggest transformation, like ever, LOL. The tobacco impact in these are like House Blend at the start, but after a few months, their tobacco gets in the country club. Never shutting down the club, though, LOL. They are the smoothest, duh, while still getting a pleasant throat hit from them. They also get a bit drier as they age. Still flavorful, still sweet (not as sweet as young Criminal(s)), still spicy, still my favorite tobaccos. I pretty much can vape them in all stages, though I prefer them when they reach age 21.![]()
I migrated from a PT2 to a Igo-W to a gaggle of Kayfun. Some of the later are the real deal and others are clones. I suggest you migrate to a Igo-w for several reasons:
Drippers (RDA) always have a place in your "army", especially if you use silica and switch flavors often like I do via a dry burn and or light the silica on fire or a quick wash.
It's an inexpensive (like around $15) way to experience the enhanced flavor of some AHL juices and is about the same flavor enhancements as the KF crowd at a significantly lower cost
It's an ideal device to practice your build skills
It's simple so you don't need to deal with 8 different parts
You may stop chasing flavor with your dripper which is fine since their are plenty of more expensive drippers with things like air flow control, deeper decks, squonkers, and the list goes on and on. I upgraded my drippers and love the options they provide.
If possible, I suggest you buy your Igo-w at a local B&M so they can enlarge the air holes if you need that.
Hopefully our very own Jerms will chime in with some thoughts since I think he has a gaggle of low cost (think FT) drippers and rotates them depending on what flavor he wants to vape.
EDIT: Inexpensive Drippers are usually available for purchase via numerous sources. The same can not be said for the real deal KFL+ V2 or the very high end clones like the Russian 91% or the "Black" KF clone which IMHO is the best clone available. All of these devices are 510 threading so your all set with your ProVari and the AW IMR button top 18650 which ProVape sells is fine.
Good luck and HTH

An alcohol content of < .07% is truly a negligible amount. No wonder I don't detect it! I still feel that leaving the cap off is unnecessary and can allow for the possible introduction of contaminants as your first post points out.
Just got my order today of pineapple cream, chocolate cream, mocha, maple dream, melon masquerade, and st pattys shamrock-Yay!
Still trying to get it down to room temperature before I dig in![]()
Love to hear your thoughts on Pineapple Cream. I ordered a big bottle a few nights ago without trying a small bottle first just based on how much I love Lemon Cream.
Question for y'all. Is Smooth Criminal really out of stock on the website for anyone besides me? The website shows "notify me" but also shows "Available" with five green stars under it. Yet no "Order Box". Anyone else see what I see?
