It's possible you might not enjoy these, but please double check your coils/heads. I have never tasted anything remotely bad in any Ahlusion juice. Metal, burnt, plastic -- all these terms seriously sound like a hardware failure.

Spoken like a true software engineer.

I have been vaping now for almost three years. My tastes have changed so much throughout that time I can't even explain. The juices that got me off the ciggies I can't stand today. I also find that about every 6 months or so I need something different. A new flavor or different vendor just to spice things up. I also find when my taste buds get funky a good mint or menthol vape helps get them back on track. I always start with samples from a vendor as for me...I either like the majority of a given vendor's juice or don't care for them at all. Ahlusion is one of my two main vendors...but I haven't loved every flavor I've tried. I usually ask for something very different from my normal as a sample with an order...I either find a new flavor I love or stumble on one that's not for me.

Order arrived today:

Cool Blend - something new that Wlad prepared for me.
Coconut Dream
Boba Tea Coconut
Car-Mal Mambo
Orient Whisper
Cherry Cola

When an order with new flavors arrives, I drip through the assortment (IGO-L), setting aside bottles I suspect will benefit from steeping, and arranging those that I'm ready for right away to put in my seven ProTanks. I set none aside for steeping this time. Triage was tough, because I only had three empty tanks at the time. Every last liquid was begging for the tank treatment (sure, I'm aware that some people prefer dripping, but for me nothing displays true flavor like the ProTank). I got around to going with Cool Blend first -- blowing gargantuan clouds as I type. I'm not sure if this is Wlad mixing based on the feedback I've been sending or a brand new flavor, but I've found yet another Ahlusion ADV. The closest comparison is Cool River Tree Blend, which as a one-time menthol smoker, I love. Mild and natural minty-ness (a far cry from cough medicine crap) blended with a savory-sweet base, is the best I can come up with. As always, the balance is brilliant, and the menthol and satisfying savoriness and sweet bits work in harmony. What it definitely isn't is a jumble of jarringly competing notes.

Someone has a thread on Car-Mal Mambo, maybe you could post in that thread? Or here...

Please describe Orient Whisper, I just ordered that this morning.

I laughed! But hey, "metal" "burning" and "plastic"? Does that sound like a fried coil or what?

I'm not saying that you're not correct, especially considering the complete absence of software. Just the way you phased that it was hardware made me so proud to be part of this thread, being a former software guy myself. I haven't heard that phrase in a few years and it just made me smile. Retired after 30 years, the last 22 as a software engineer.

Oh and you're probably right, that does sound like the coils are burnt or gunked up.

I vaped a few milliliters for you. Exquisite ripe lychee fruit with smartly understated yogurt undertone. A little like these:

Got a couple bottles today,

Tiramisu: Perfect aroma, very good taste right now albeit a little rough at the end with the coffee but I'm betting it will steep wonderfully

ChaYen Orange blossom: hoping this one will do some good steep because it wasn't close. The taste was alright but toooo purfumey and not at all like Thai Tea but the orange did show promise. Not a throwaway by any means I was just really stoked and it kinda fell flat on first take.

Also no samples but that's okay because I wasn't aware they even did that before I ordered so didn't know to ask

ChaYen Orange blossom was the only flop for me at Ahlusion. To me, Thai ice tea is more than half condensed milk over which the tea notes sit. This one reverses that. If you ever want to try it again, tell Wlad as much, and you'll get a properly creamy Thai iced tea.

Ooooh, I really liked my sampler of Cha Yen Orange Blossom -- but me being me, I let it steep about 7-10 days before even tasting it!:blush:

Today heralds the triumphant debut (at only six days old) of Lime Cream, profiled to my lime-sweet'n'sour obsession!! I liked Lemon Cream, but this Lime cream will be a definite 30ml reorder! Simply wonderful bright, Key Lime flavor, both tart and sweet, with that luscious A+ creamy base. My perfect palate cleanser (I bet it will go great with a gin & tonic too! :p )

P.S. : I will never care for Gold Rising. :( But I have high hopes for Gold Member (next order), and the Peach Wild Woods smells irresistible. I'll probably try PWW out tonight. :)

I loves me some key lime pie. Can I get your profile number on that one so I can order it Eleanor style?

Tempting. As for Gold Rising, I let that one sit for a week (all respect to Y Cherry Y, but I've never had to steep any liquid more than five or six days max), and even it got good. Same for Vecchio. For whatever reason those two take the five days for the caramel and vanilla to come through, but when they do it all works out.

...

The Cha Yen Orange Blossom was way too spicy for me but, like I've found with some other Ahlusion juices that haven't been huge hits out of the gate, there was something about the taste that kept me coming back to it. I've had Wlad cut the spice down twice for me and now it's a "must be loaded in a tank at all times" juice. Wlad can do total magic with teas so if it doesn't steep into something you like just let him know how you would like it changed.

Just wanted to share with everyone>>> I just opened my cocoa blend. I let it seep about a week. I am almost speechless!! This stuff is REALLY REALLY good! Love it! Have had some others recently as well. The banana cream is good. Car Mal Mombo really nice, needs a bit more TH, but really scrumptious! Love the Vurley! Pineapple Upside Down Cake is much better than I expected. It really is spot on! I am never disappointed. Even the ones that are not my favorites are very vapeable. IN SUMMERY, Cocoa Blend Two Thumbs Up!!

You picking up coconut in that blend too? I've dripped a little, but am letting it sit for a bit.
