Frustrated with this vendor!!! I've read much of this thread and ready to try a couple if its aromatic tobacco juices but the online store is always closed when I'm juice shopping. What's up with Ahlusion's online shopping hours?? Isn't one of the perks of a virtual store is that orders can be placed 24/7 and accumulated for fulfillment? Just don't understand the rationale of completely closing down shop - lost my business, going to stick with NETcom. Sorry, just venting...

Good Idea

More for me:D

Before someone steps in to tell you that you don't deserve what you lack the dedication to buy, I'm gonna give it to you real. Deep down, even the most diehard Ahlusion lover wishes they operated like any large online outlet and let us buy what we want, whenever we want --especially during late night binges. You simply can't spin their store hours -- which have markedly improved this month. That said, they operate to the best of their ability, and it's clear that the one and only reason that they aren't always open is that they're a small business, and are committed to working within their capacity. They could open the floodgates like their competition, but then you'd need to wait for weeks after you've placed your order for them to prepare and ship it. And I can't fault them for understanding their limits, no matter how much I'd like to order before bed instead of when I wake up. And, I can assure you that it is worth the trouble. If their product sucked it would be one thing, but it damn sure doesn't. Look at it like waiting in line for a well-reviewed restaurant. If they could serve everyone all the time, rest assured they would. One day they probably will. Til then, you can do as you're doing and ignore them altogether, or place an order on a weekday before 3-4pm EST to be safe. A month ago, you'd have from about 9am-11am EST. So they are attempting to meet demand.

You are much better with diplomatic responses than I am :toast:

We should have a starting sticky note that explains this to new people so they don't get upset. Can we do that, anyone? Mann?

Papaya Lassi is next on my list because uve done an awesome job on describing it that I'm now craving it and I've never had it before! Lol

Thank you! I think I suck at reviews, but I do appreciate the compliment.

Really, it is fantastic. I got my sample and placed an order for 30 mL of both the mango and papaya the very next day! Along with 10 mL of Sweet Cherry Something. ;) I need to get big bottles of Fijian Dream and Strawberry Vanilla Cake, get a medium bottle of Gold Member, maybe a big bottle of Boba Tea or a flavored one, and see how it goes with Sweet Cherry Something, may quite possible need a big bottle of Raspberry Cream when I get my next coupon. ;)

If you haven't tried Fijian Nights, that's another highly recommended one from me, I ordered without the breeze. It's very difficult to describe, creamy with an exotic fruit flavor and almost a slight taste of whipped cream and definite notes of vanilla. The fruits intermingle so well, it is difficult to pick them out. Even my sister, who is not a vaper, tried it and loved it, lol! It truly tastes exactly like the picture, very, very good. In my too flavors, quite possibly in my top three. If you like/love the Lassis, I would definitely try it, IMHO, as much as I love the Lassis I like this one better. I always have it with me, absolutely delicious! :)

I always have a tough time with it because before I went to but I read threads
I decided to buy boba's bounty at the exact worse time I waited a month to order
but a little reading told that

so I do get frustrated when I sometimes hear things like that on a Sunday at 11:00
the least likely time a vendor that has a capacity limit to be open

more over if I did question the first thing I would do is ask on a thread or start a thread asking before ranting

oy.........

This thread may give you 1) a place to vent 2) explanations of why some vendors are not open 24/7

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/450133-why-do-people-think-its-acceptable-online-vendors-shut-down-their-ordering-systems.html

Ahlusion should be open around 8am ET tomorrow morning.

I guess I've just been brushing the surface here on ECF...there is thread about everything! Thanks for the link - good points made there...might just give Ahlusion another try after all. Juice shopping just usually isn't on my mind when I'm at work....

I'm with you; I guess people are impatient. I'll leave that kind of note on my Dr's office/local bakery/department store front door the next time they refuse to be open so late on a weekend.

I think people are used to online meaning available 24/7 regardless.

They are worth the wait, that's why we are here. Sorry you found them closed - I wanted to order tonight too after dinner and hit the closed sign wall.

First off, no one expects order fulfillment at 11pm on a Sunday or for the vendor to be "open" at that time. Talking about placing an order....9% of online vendors offer this convenience. If it will take 3 weeks to get here, just disclose that and I'll know that I have a wait in front of me. Replies like yours fall into the high and mighty veteran class - annoying. My point is that some of us work during those hours therefore shopping for nic juice is not that practical.

Any feedback about their coffees?

The Peppermint Mocha is really good. I'm generally not a huge fan of this kind of coffee but my sister is and she loves it. For something I don't care for in real life, I have to say it is indeed pretty good and authentic. :) That's the only one I've tried so far though.

adw,

We really are a good group. Some people are trolls and just come into a thread to make snarky comments, so sometimes it's hard to tell who is who and what is what.

Ahlusion has increased hours of operation for online ordering recently, and they still keep shipping fairly quick. I noticed they were open yesterday also, so Saturday is an option.

I've been looking at Fijian Nights, and now I think I'm sold. I had to go try the Mango Lassi, and it was every bit as amazing as I could hope. So, so good! I think I will definitely try the Papaya Lassi, too! I also tried my Coconut Breeze. So far it's more about the smell than the taste. The taste is good-ish, but doesn't measure up to the smell. I'll give it a little more time, but this one might be better sweetened to bring the flavor up to the nose. So, out of my nine juices, I've tried six. Not a single one is a "miss", although some might need a little more steep time before they are out-and-out "hits". Again, I'm quite impressed, so far. I think Ahlusion is about to become my go-to vendor, although I have a couple of juices from other places that I'll likely continue to order. I still have three teas to try. It sounds (and smells) like the Boba Tea could be good to test, but I think I'll try to wait a bit on the Caramel Pear Black Tea and the Cha-Yen Cardamom.

Wow, nicely said. I'd think you were being sarcastic, but it's about exactly right

Sarcastic AND exactly right. My favorite sweet tobacco throat blast begins life as this gooey and savory thing I really don't like, and I am forced to buy it and wait eight weeks for it to transform. Am I bitter about it? No. But I would like to be able to buy the butterfly and skip the caterpillar.

Sweet option?

I preferred my tiramisu with the sweetener because I felt it helped the chocolate pop more. But that said it's one of the only Ahlusion juices I preferred with sweetener (tho possibly the other dark chocolates too, I haven't tried them yet to verify). Reviews on the older site seemed to indicate that most of those reviewers preferred the tiramisu sweetened as well.

I'll have to try the Pineapple Cream in a future order. I've had pretty sketchy results with pineapple juices, but I'd love to find a good one. Also a great pina colada. I haven't tried the Coconut Dream yet, but it smells awesome. If Ahlusion has great pineapple and great coconut, it's a pretty good bet that they also have great a pina colada. IRL, a pina colada is my very favorite vacation drink, but ONLY if it's made with real pineapple and coconut cream, not the bottled, plastic-tasting mix. I'm finding that most pina colada ejuices are like the bottled mix, not the real thing!

I feel the exact same way as you. I have not liked any of the pineapple flavored juice I've tried from other companies and it has made me leary of trying other pineapple... though with all the good things I hear about the Pineapple Cream out here, my reserve is beginning to break down and I may just have to give it a try.

Pina Colada is something I normally keep in my primary rotation. My fondness for it surprised me as I only like the occasional Pina Colada and only when made with fresh ingredients. It's tasty out of vape mail but the flavors do meld after a couple of weeks.

The Pineapple Cream tastes like a creamy version of fresh pineapple as do all the cream flavors I've tried. It takes a week or two for the creaminess to come forward which takes the edge off the natural acidity of the fruit.

Coconut Dream is one of my staples. I love it by itself and it's my favorite juice to mix with teas or other fruit juices.

I have yet to try an Ahlusion fruit flavor that did not smell and taste like the food equivalent rather than the artificial tasting stuff that seems to be the universal norm elsewhere. It would be a mistake to order Ahlusion juices based on what you have tried elsewhere. They make most of their own flavor bases so their juices aren't similar.

Alright you've convinced me!! Pineapple Cream is now a MUST TRY!!! Especially since I feel the same way as you about the Coconut Dream so you must have good taste! ;)

Do you guys drink coffee? I stopped for several months, but lately I've had some espresso shots in the morning. Seems to me, there aren't too many vapor flavors that go well with it. The aros are pretty good - Maple Burley atm. SC sometimes good. Castle Long, very good. Gambit, not bad. Queenside, decent. Cafe Au Lait, blech LOL coffee with coffee. Desperado, pretty good. These are from my current rotation.

Coffee drinker here! I particularly like Gold Rising with my morning coffee; they just work well together. It's kind of funny, as much as I love coffee, I've yet to try a coffee vape.
