UGH..I feel bad cuz I told her it was probably the PG..

I also had a reply somewhere on here for her to soak the wicks more and then try a few drops of distilled water. Don't know much about Evods but she seems to have quite a few issues w/them and she uses the tank that comes with them.

I also told her to quit buying stuff and wait for my Alh to mature that she will love them and we both can quit looking and start ordering large bottles and split them!!!!

PG is always what people think of first. I was surprised to find out it was the VG. But it makes sense now. PG is what dries you out and makes you need to drink more water. Ahlusion 10VG/90PG is really good! Has a lot of vapor, too. I just loaded EVODs with Sweet Surrender and Pineapple Cream. Put my 10/90 Boba Tea in an iClear 16. Going to stick with them until I quit coughing and my sinus' clear up. Then I can go back to 30VG/70PG with no problems. I need to buy my citrus flavors again though since they have too much VG. I should ask Wlad to ban me from buying higher VG liquids. LOL.

Even with 90PG I had to let the EVOD set for 10 minutes to let the wicks soak. I tried it early and got that "no juice" burn.

ya know what

I promised myself I would not rip any SC till I cleared away some of these other favs I have
especially so because I only have as little left steeped and next bottle only 2 weeks steeped so far

but just a little cant hurt

Ya, that's the one negative about SC.Everything else just pales in comparison.

I'm one of the rare few that likes it fresh. So I tell myself I have to vape it before the magic fades. Of course when it does fade, it only morphs into something equally as magical. Win win!

I'm going to rip into SC right away this time. 10ml for the current rotation and 20ml will get the long steep.

Well you have to try it fresh too, if only just for reference.

Personally, I don't see how anyone could have the discipline to leave a bottle untapped for two whole months.. but I am weak, and I know it. :)

Does the Aurora give a warm vape or would u say a cooler vape being a bottom feeder?

I'm not sure if you are asking about bottom coils or bottom feeders.

The Aurora comes with a long barrel dripping atty which makes for a cooler vape than a normal length dripping atty but the vape is warmer than a bottom coil clearo. You can use any normal length dripping atty with a hole in the bottom if you prefer a warmer vape.

However, the amount of power going from the battery to the atty will determine the warmth of the vape if you are talking about how the Aurora compares to bottom feeder PVs like the Reo and V-MOD.

...As for the equipment discussion going on, I use a Spinner and a mini T3, and I'm very, very happy with them. I tried a lot of stuff early in my vaping experience, but I was thinking about it recently, and I've been using this set-up for close to a year. I can't imagine a better combination of convenience, consistency, and flavor. My husband has been on a Provari and Protank for about the same amount of time, and that works perfectly for him. I know that we both could, theoretically, get better vapes with something else, but if it works, why fix it?

I don't think anyone should feel the least bit obliged to try every vaping doodad that comes down the pike if their current gear puts them in a happy vaping place. However, given that there is a broad consensus that dripping produces the best taste, I would hope that it is something that new vapers at least try before spending a lot of money on new vaping toys.

Peraspera,

I hope you don't mind, I recommended this top to another member, based on your posting this picture. I have 2 of these on order - they look like they will be much better than the t3's and pro tanks I use.

ECF is all about sharing and helping each other so feel free to use info from my posts anywhere. However, people are much more likely to find Todd's Aurora review monumentally more helpful than anything I post.

For me there's no discipline involved when I leave a juice untouched, it's usually about having a bunch of juices on hand. When I have about 40 different flavors in my rotation and a new bottle comes in, there's no temptation to start vaping it right away. I'm trying to keep less on hand, but for me it's easier said than done. My list of juices I want to try tends to get longer and longer....

Question a little ^^^^^

Since my juices are still steeping and new ones not here to share w/my best friend, she went ahead an ordered a few samples from another vendor. She was getting a little cough and stuffy nose from a previous juice that was 60 PG/40 VG so she ordered this time 100% VG. She uses 6 mg on an 1000 mAh EVod/EVod tanks. The tank/coil were cleaned.

She said her first hit "burnt the back of her throat"??? I have never tried the juice she has, but it has high reviews. I've vaped nearly 100% VG (Aves) no problems so she's asking me and I have no clue. Blind leading the blind here!

I feel bad because I told her to lower her PG from the first issues, I never thought she lower it all the way. I did tell her to try a few drops of distilled water, but it doesn't explain what's going on. Thx for any info

Angi, it sounds like she's getting dry hits from her eVods so that is a wicking issue. Some 100% VG eliquids are not diluted enough. You were correct to tell her to just add a few drops of distilled water to her juice to achieve the correct viscosity. She could also add a little PG (with or without nicotine).

There is no need to soak the wicks in Kanger BCC clearos--maybe just a few minutes, that's all. If she has problems with her eVods, maybe this list will help her:

Both propylene glycol and glycerol have hygroscopic properties, which means they are both dehydrating; however, some people may be sensitive to one or the other. Another issue to consider is additives--there may be some flavoring in her new juice that is irritating. Cinnamon is a well known lung and respiratory tract irritant and I can't vape it myself, for instance.

Hope this helps.

I like this guy. Thanks for showing the link to this video. Can you use a regular 510 atty with this or do you need a specific type of 510 atty (i.e. bottom feeder type)? Have you used it with the coil yet?

Hi everyone. I'm fairly new to vaping (about 2 months now) and almost brand new as a registered ECF member. I've been stalking this Ahlusion thread for a while now. Actually, this thread is what finally got me to sign up on ECF. I was a pack a day smoker for over 35 years and think vaping will be the ticket to keep me from smoking again.

Other than some MOV juice that I picked up at a local B&M, Ahlusion was where I placed my first juice order. I just placed my third order earlier today. I've now tried several flavors from MOV, Ginger's, Fancee and MBV and must say that Ahlusion has provided my best vaping experience to date. The flavors have all been spot on so far, most OOB, but esp. after a few weeks steeping time.

My equipment is still rather limited to a few eGo VV batteries, a lot of cartomizers and clearomizers plus a mini Kanger Pro Tank. I've wanted to try my hand at dripping but was feeling intimidated by the RBAs. I also go through at least 6 ml of juice a day, mostly while at work and need a delivery method that will keep up with my chain vaping! Thanks to this thread, I think I may have found a good alternative/bridge item--I just ordered the Aurora and should have it by next week. I don't like the cooler vapor I get from the bottom coil Kanger and it seems like this will provide a warmer vape, esp. w/a shorter atomizer.

Again, I just wanted to say "hi" and introduce myself.

Sure, I understand that.. but here's the thing. I'm getting to the point where I don't want to vape anything "pretty good" anymore. So while I do have plenty of options, I'm just finding it harder and harder to subject myself to a unsatisfactory vaping experience, when I don't really have to. I still vape my non-favorites too, but out of obligation.. not for enjoyment.

And I suppose waiting does get exponentially easier when you don't enjoy the juice OOB.

Like my Vita Bella will hit the coveted 6 month mark, no problem ;)

In other words, you have become a complete juice snob. :p

So what other Ahlusion non-aros do you consider worthy besides SC? I'm curious about Desperado and JG Blend.

You know what be awesome? A CARAMEL Smooth Criminal. We could call him, Sticky Criminal lol. Or how about a vanilla? White collar criminal? Hey? Hey?

Caramel Wild Wood is really good. The woodsy tobacco and the caramel are a perfect compliment. I am thinking about adding Gold Rising to my next order and giving it a try, too.
