Ahlusion E-juice

Oh Well, not to pile on the shipping thing because I guess I waited too late to order. I didn't plan on it taking 5 days from ready for shipment for Fed Ex to pick it up and now Fed Ex shows projected delivery is not until the 14th. Used to take two days to get here.

I will be completely out of A+ Juices by noon on Saturday, Sunday AM at the latest. I will either have to visit a local B&M and get something or do without. I was excited when I saw the Fed Ex pick notice thinking it would be here tomorrow or the next day. Apparently it is coming Fed Ex ground. In my work and family packages experience, Fed Ex ground and UPS ground run at about half the speed of the USPS. Never mind they reassigned a 20 year same route veteran for a new delivery person that apparently can't read address labels. I'll never curse the USPS again.

So for the first time in about 18 months I will be vaping a juice not made by Wlad, Alley and Co.
You can bet your bippee (is my age showing?) it won't happen again. Another order is already in the pipeline.

Edit- Now that I think about it, a delivery on the 14th will be somewhat apropos, ironic or both. It'll be nice to get vapemail on that day from my favorite/only juice vendor. Just wish I wasn't out. Glad I ordered a couple of non-steepers.

A fellow Michigander, hello! It's snowing again here right now, as if we needed any more. Taking a trip to Ahlusion would be amazing. Sounds like a lot of fun, but do they really let you try them out? I've never been to an actual Vape B&M shop, so forgive me if I sound a little silly not knowing what to expect.

I was there at the shop on black Friday weekend .. it was such an AMAZING experience .. ended up there for 2 hours sampling juices and also picking Wlad's brain about hardware and juices since I'm a rookie .. lol .. WELL worth the visit .. and I'm from Toronto across the border ..

Thanks everyone! I'm here taking actual notes! I'm definitely getting some great advice to begin. Coco-Berry Cream will be first on the order, for sure. Haven't decided about which tea or tobacco yet. Maybe a fruity one, too. How about coffees? Recommendations, anyone?

Hello, Aloha, Salutations, Greetings, Hola, Hallo, Guten tag and YO! Welcome to the thread!

Coco-Berry Cream is a good choice, creamy coconut and strawberry and you can't go wrong. I haven't tried many teas yet but I just got in a bottle of the Vanilla Black Tea yesterday and it smells wonderful. Caramel Pear Black Tea seems to be a fan favorite as well. Don't forget the Boba Teas if you like that kind of thing, the plain is quite yummy.

I'm not a real tobacco aficionado but there are several people here who can direct you to good ones. From what I've gathered the aromatic tobaccos (like Smokin' Cherries, Cocoa Blend, etc.) do not require steeping, are strong tobaccos with the flavor being a more background element. The other tobaccos do well with steeping and a juice like Smooth Criminal continuously changes over as much as 5 months of steeping but SC is a singularly special juice that is good throughout its steeping but changes a lot. Caramel Wildwood also seems to be a crowd favorite and a sweeter, smoky tobacco.

As far as the coffees go, I really like the Tiramisu as a desserty coffe replacement. The Cafe au Lait is a strong coffee to me. Kent's Blend a sweeter medium coffee. Kona Kick (a chocolate kona coffee) I just received yesterday and smells like it's going to need a bit of steeping. JG blend is a coffee and tobacco juice (Kent's Blend is actually a take on just the coffee portion of this juice) and I just got this one in yesterday as well and smells amazing. The only juices I've ever ordered sweetened from Ahlusion are anything with chocolate (seems to make it stand out more), the coffees (because that's how I drink them) and teas (also how I would drink them).

As far as fruits go.... there's a veritable cornucopia of wonderful choices. Some of my favorites are Mango Lassi (a 2-4 weeks steeper), Papaya Lassi (same), Strawberry Vanilla Cake, Blueberry Vanilla Cake, Lemon Berry Kiss, the list goes on and on.

Oh, and I'm not sure if you know or not but the Express Line of Ahlusion juices only come in 50VG/50PG blends, have been steeped for about 2 weeks and not the whole menu is offered in that line of juices. The Express juices also do not go towards the minimum dollar total required to qualify for a free sample.

That would be so much fun. I'm so happy to see so many people from Michigan, you wouldn't believe it. Now I know I'm not the only one, but sometimes it seems that way, in my area of town at least. I'm the only person I know who vapes, and it gets kind of lonely and isolating trying to talk about something you like, but nobody around here gets it... or wants to hear about it. Thanks to everyone, from everywhere. Here's to vapers!

I'm in a similar boat. The only vapers I know are 2 or 3 co-workers, who got me interested, but they all use cig-alikes and one of them has a halo pen thingy with Halo juice, but that's as much into it as they get. And I've gotten out of the habit of going outside since the cold weather has come around so I don't even get to chat with them much about it. And there are no B&M shops anywhere near me that I know of. Ironically, DiscountVapers is about an hour's drive from here but they are strictly online. My habit has evolved almost entirely by what I read here.

Yeah, they have 80 or so bottles to sample, and sometimes Wlad will pull out something new to try too. If you check out the Ahlusion Facebook page, there are pics of the cafe. They even have an original Mr. Mann painting of the A+ logo hanging on a wall!

There are a few Michigan folks here. Mann, Tyleris, LouisLebeau, Linden, and I believe two or three more. We really should have a field trip, maybe when the snow melts in July or so.

Hmmm, I'll be in Ohio for February and half of March. An Ahlusion road trip doesn't sound like a bad idea.

Hmmm, not as leafy or unusual as I expected from definitions so a little underwhelming. It's a nice taste though, reminds me of Boba Tea on first impression. It's good, but not feeling the need of a full bottle of it. Like all first impressions, that may change though.

Oh, and I feel like Shatner with the KFL; something has gone wrong with all my builds. I just don't know what. I've built low-res coils, higher res (1.6 ohm) coils. Either I'm getting anemic vapor, with harsher throat hits than I'm accustomed to......or I'm getting dry hits like every 3 puffs. The 3.1 version is smooth as butter, but the Lite is kicking my throat. I'm guessing it's the amount of cotton I'm using; feels like the same amount I use in other micro coils I make, but it's not working the way I'd like. And I'm running out of non-Ahlusion juice to put in and possibly waste testing it.

I received my FedEx Ahlusion order from 31-December today. It arrived as instructed. While I completely understand that it's more inconvenient for some Ahlusion customers, I don't really have a problem with the switch.

Gah! There are so many things I've been wanting to comment on over the last couple of days, but this thread moves so fast! I'm a teacher, so for a couple of weeks, I could totally keep up! Now I'm back at school and working 11 hour days. I tried to multi-quote the other night, but I was so tired, I just got confused... EleanorR, I don't know how you manage to keep it all straight to do it! So, I'm not even going to try tonight.

First, mia11, welcome! This is just about the nicest group of people on this thread you could ever hope to find. And they are talking about the best e-juice you could ever hope to find! I already seconded (thirded?) bukket5 and BnJ's recommendation for Coco-Berry Cream. It's seriously yummy. I think I'm profiled for a little extra berry in mine, but it's pretty great as-is. My other absolute top recommendations are Boba Tea plain (I love this stuff to a ridiculous degree) and Mango Colada. I'm starting to think that you just can't go too far wrong with any Ahlusion juices, but so far, those three are my very favorites. There are still dozens that I'm dying to try.

Next, shipping. Oh, I am so with all of you who are feeling the shipping woes. I ordered on the 30th, and then again on the 4th. I'm not bothered by the one on the 4th--it was not that long ago. But the 30th order just got picked up by FedEx today, and it's expected delivery is not until Wednesday, Jan 15! Sigh. First World Problems, I know. But I've been rationing my last few exquisite drops of Boba Tea, and I'm not going to make it.

(BTW, I'm totally sympathetic to the extremely awful weather and the fact that they are overwhelmed by orders from their fantastic sale, and that they are searching for new employees on FB. I'm not even considering ditching A+. They are the best. Just the best. There's no going back from that!)

I build a 1.6 ohm on a 5/64” bit w/30g wire. Setting the coil perpendicular to the posts, cotton wick. Coil about 1mm above the airhole. Not too much cotton, or you'll get a dry hit...I trim my cotton so it just barely touches the deck. Lemme know if you'd like a pic...

In my experience, if you leave it any longer, it's too easy to over pack it in the spaces on either side of the deck. I tuck it in gently, and make sure it kinda fans out in the spaces beside the deck. Hope this helps...

That's kind of cool. Didn't know that existed. Lots of options. Sadly make the snow and ice stop and speed up are not among them.
Moved out of the dark ages a while back and now that I actually have a smart phone, I will set up an account. Very neat that they can ping you when a package moves.

LisaR- Yes, even with the weather it looks like it will only net out at 3-4 more days over normal. Not that big a deal unless you wait too late to order.

Oooo! BnJ's a gamer too? That's hot! I've got several days off so I can spend all weekend on the Beta test of an upcoming MMO that may or may not be related to Morrowind & Skyrim.

I've been thinking about trying Zing! because I love lemons but I'm not sure if I want the sweet or sour version. Anyone have any experience with this juice? I have been known to occasionally peel and eat lemons like one would do with an orange.
