I am not a big throat hit person, but I did notice that dropping from 18mg down to 12mg did seem to 'lighten up' the taste or body of the juice for me. I also found that at the 12mg nic level the flavor was fuller and more pronounced when I use my Igo-L on my Provari rather than just my 510 atty on a Spinner. This is my personal experience. I was vaping 24mg at first and that gave me the full impact; but I can not maintain a 24mg level. If that is throat hit then I did see a difference. I would ask that more experienced vapers weigh in on this since I am only vaping for 6 months.

its a process I can do it all at once but when I am able to get a few I can do lower nic
and ride with that in the rotation for a while it helps a whole lot

Nicotine has much to do with throat hit much like VG/PG ratio. Many will also describe a peppery taste when they move to a higher nic level such as 18/24.
I'm a consistent 18mg and 50/50 or 70/30 vg/pg depending on juice.

I agree with both of you. I'm at 6-12, depending on the juice (tobaccos=12). There is most definitely a difference in flavor and TH. At night when I'm at home, I tend to chain-vape, so I use the lower. I notice the peppery flavor at higher mgs. as well - and get light-headed at high mgs. when I try someone else's. I find that weird, because I always thought that was due to carbon monoxide in cigarettes (displacing oxygen)......which we're not getting by vaping....or so I thought.

That is what I think I am experiencing too. It is hard to say because when I tried to do the drop in nic all at once I was bouncing off the walls. So I went right back up to 24mg. Now I am introducing desserts and non tobaccos in at 12 mg and lowered a couple of my tobaccos to 18mg. I just bought Smooth Criminal in 12 mg so I have a couple of months to see if that is going to throw me for a loop. I am trying to ease it down because I do want that Russian and the Igo=L is treating my CPBT at 12 mg pretty well.

Nah, not CO, light-headedness is an early sign of nic overdose.

Been off awhile. I've been taking care of Churchill's "Black Dog" for months now. Truly a DE-socializing phenomenon. Sorry for the lack of participation. Anywways... I tried moving my way down to 6mg/ml but it just wasn't working for me. I'm finding that 12mg and adjusting my vaping to my needs based on stress works best all around.

Not a fan of TH, but I do like the Nic, more or less based on mood. So I vape it at 12, more or less as needed to suit my needs. I'm whittling down my inventory to my favorites, and that Black Dog has left me uninterested in the more intricate req's of builds and stuff, so I'm mostly using atty's and 'vela drip tanks. Lots of tanks (KFL's, Ithaka's) going unused while I prefer the simplicity of the 306's in the Vela Latinas and plain old Joyetech 510 drip atty's. KISS seems to be the rule while walking the Dog. I miss y'all, especially my old friends here.

As I empty certain Ho-Hum flavors to reduce to a dozen or so of my must haves, I'm missing the variety of 30+ flavors but the refilling process is becoming simpler. I'll probably start having fun again with rebuilding when I get better, but for now it doesn't interest me. In summary, at 1.5 years I'm still preferring the 12mg solutions. I still have too many but I need to simplify things recently and getting down to just my faves is the goal. Been passing on discount codes, too much stock. But I wanted to say hello and let my friends know I'm reading and enjoying thier posts.

I use micro coil on kayfun and a couple of my RDA's
but my main IGO-L is not micro
I usually do 30 gage 4 wraps on doubled over 3 mm either silica or ecowool

Hello everyone! I'm about to put in my FIRST Ahlusions order and have a few silly questions that maybe you kind people can help me with! Firstly, are there any coupon codes for 1st time buyers(cheapskate here) & does Ahlusions give free samples with their orders(yes---cheapskate again).

Right-now that I got those 2 things out of the way, on to my potential choices.
I'm usually a strictly dessert vape kinda gal.
But I find my tongue becoming numb to these flavors lately. I like fruit in it's original form but have never really taken to fruit vapes due to the artificial/perfumey taste. I read many reviews at Ahlusions and want to get your opinions on some of the juices I want to try:

1. Cherry Midnight(this sounds yummy!)--does it taste like real chocolate or like tootsie roll chocolate? And do the cherries taste like...well...cherries? Will adding sweetener to this recipe make it too sweet?

2. Contrary Cherry(God I really love cherries)--same questions...juicy cherry flavor or fake yucky perfume? And will adding sweetener make it way too sweet?

3. Vecchio Blend--What does this taste like, exactly? I know taste is subjective but I would like to hear what you lovely people describe as the flavor of this blend...

4. Rick's Request--Really? Rice pudding w/raisins?? Yummy! Again-if I add sweetener, do you think I'd ruin the taste of it?

5. Caramel Wildwood--I've been looking for a RY4-type where I can taste both the caramel AND tobacco. It doesn't have to be RY4--just similar to get my mouth watering. Any opinions on this one?

***and finally...2 more questions about flavors I am considering but not sure of:

1. Smooth Criminal--what is your opinion on this flavor? What does it taste like to you?

2. Honey Blues--omg. The only thing I love more than cherries are blueberries. But I love blueberry pie-I'm not crazy about eating fresh blueberries, but I do because they're good for me.
So...in your opinions, does this taste like blueberry pie or compote? Or does it taste like fresh blueberries?

If there are any other flavors you think I might enjoy please feel free to recommend them and include your 'take' on the flavor. The chocolate covered strawberry juice looks interesting too.

Sentinel m16 with Nimbus RDA clone atomizer(I suck at wrapping coils though)
Ego Twists and Ego VVs with Kanger T3s(don't judge me lol!!)

I'm considering purchasing a Lavatube mod or a VAMO as my next purchase. Also awaiting a Kayfun Lite Plus since it seems wayyy easier to rebuild(for me) than the standard RDAs I have(IGO-W, Nimbus & Patriot clone).

Again, thank you SO much for any opinions or help you can offer me and I GREATLY look forward to vaping these juices!!

here's the catch its a subtle vape I probably would not vape this in a clero but its really good in an atty you get a different flav every hit and you notice the 2 dif types of cherry for sure

I have not tried it with sweetener Don't think it would add to the experience its a nice vape without it

3. Vecchio Blend--Mine is still steeping its very vanilla a vanilla bean but its a long steeper probably about 2 months to get right

4. Rick's Request--have not tried this one

5. Caramel Wildwood--A fav of many very strong but really well done caramel (the caramel mellow's more and more over time but really strong in first month)

***and finally...2 more questions about flavors I am considering but not sure of:

1. Smooth Criminal--This is one of their most famous flav's along with boba tea
I love this one
with this some like it in its more dissert type form fresh to 6 week's
some like it in its more tobacco like form after 6 weeks

2. Honey Blues-Its on my wish list

Also if you like caramel the gold member is fantastic with sweetener added I Love this one

As far as atty I find the IGO-L is the easiest RDA to build I mostly do 4 wraps with 30 gage kanthol over double over 3 mm silica or Eco wool

The nimbus I feel like its giving up some flav for clouds but any of the duel coil atties are going to be more difficult to build
I have played around with them but it was helpful to have the IGO-L to gage where the flav should be
just to see when I was off on my build

the kayfun is easy as well I do a micro coil on that which is very easy as well

I had the vamo SS(at least it was supposed to be) as my first mod and the 510 threads stripped in just a few month's

I have the provari now an its been great
a friend of mine has a sigelei zmax and that's been going well too
