With me, the heavy chest feeling is when I am vaping a juice that has a high vg content. I get a very heavy chest from 100% vg juices and a few with as much vg as 50/50. Most 50/50 does not bother me. And it seems to make a difference on what bases are used. I can vape Boba's Bounty and not get a super heavy chest. But Virgin Vapor gives me that feeling almost right away. So there may be more to it than just the vg. Not sure. But if I get that heavy chest feeling, I limit how much of that juice I vape or do not vape it at all.
There is a thread where you can swap juices in the PIF forum, rather than dumping it. Maybe you can trade for something you prefer for just the cost of postage.

I don't think they consider Melon Masquerade quite ready for prime time yet or something. Several weeks back someone (I forget who) had posted that when they went to the Ahlusion store they bought a bottle of this not yet released juice. I thought it sounded good (I'm a fan of GLV's Melon Boba) so I asked for a sample on my last order. I made a post here that I did indeed receive a sample of it although I've yet to try it because I like to let my A+ juices steep even if it pains me to see them leering at me from the steeping cupboard.
Tomorrow I think my MM will be two weeks old. I may have to dip into it then.
THANK YOU for that HELPFUL non judgemental advice. I was hoping there was a rational reason to the question that I hoped I asked in a non-threatening (my gosh I am NOT pointing a finder at Ahlusion) way.
I actually just tried that Jameson's/Jackson's juice yesterday at a local B&M. It was pretty good. I've yet to break into my Masquerade as I wanted it to steep.
Since you seem to be the queen of ordering "off the menu," in order to get the Root Beer Cream should I just open a CS ticket asking Ahlusion how to do this? And how does the Lemon Vanilla Cake compare to P.O.E.T.'s Limone?
Vaping some Ahlusion Vanilla Black Tea in beast mode for the last few days. The vanilla is stronger fresh, but backs off a bit after steeping.
I think that's the ticket, based on what I've read on their site, and what I've deduced after a few fails of my own. Use the contact form on their site to ask about it. They always respond in a reasonably timely manner. And then if it's determined that they will do what you ask, reference the ticket # in your order comments.
Mind you, I'm not saying I've actually *done* this. But after my most recent order, and some correspondence with Amanda, this is the procedure I will go through next time. It all brings Seinfeld's "Soup Nazi" episode to mind, but I'm sure it will be well worth the hassle.
One thing I like about this group is everyone is non-judgmental. I have yet to see any of the regular folks even come close to it whether its about a Ahlusion flavor, PV, device, etc. There is a lot of respect for other peoples choices.
The only exception is when some people come flying by (aka trolls)with harsh absolute statements.
Chill, chanelvaps, I wasn't judging you. I couldn't help you FIX what was going on with your device, but I knew that that was what was causing your problem. I apologize for my response coming off as judgmental.

I don't think anyone was trying to be judgmental. A properly functioning clearo should be able to successfully wick any type of 50/50 juice at reasonable power. That's why the comment that the issue is your clearo rather than the juice.
The advice you got from other posters is exactly what I would have suggested to try first. Clearos can be temperamental about wicking and using clean or new coils is a standard troubleshooting step. Adding a drop or two of water to make a stubborn clearo wick is really a last ditch effort and is not the most desirable fix.

Chanel, I vape the T2 almost all the time these days. Still my favorite clearo by a long shot. I get this every now and then on a couple of A+ juices, mostly teas. Still not sure why but it seems to go away. Sometimes I think it is a dehydration issue, other times I think it might be a wicking or power issue.
If the wicks are clean and wicking close to properly, I would turn the power down to 3.2 range and try it. If it doesn't work then go up to 4.1 to a cap of about 4.2. Thinking the power is not the issue though.
If the wick ends are tight, might try fluffing them some. If you have the two wick set up with a flavor wick laying on top of the coil wrapped wick, try taking the top ""flavor" wick out. Just pull it out gently and be careful not to pop (pull out ) the coil. Sometimes I think the flavor coil just doesn't get wet enough and the coil is burning it.
I've had the same juice tasting burn/harsh one day and be fine the next day. Thinking the extra flavor wick or dehydration may the two most likely but have not been able to pin it down.
All great advice and thanks for not bashing my T2's. I have tried drippers, pro-tanks (Davide and Kanger) among other things and I just like the ease and feel of the t2. When I posted the question I was quite sure I would hear from someone just dying to bash the equipment I am using but was also hoping to get some positive feedback that was helpful. Strangely enough it is not doing it now. Just glad to hear that it happens to someone else and is not something I am doing wrong. Thanks Apptiger!
Yep, that's exactly how to do it. It's actually written in the FAQs, but I'm fine to let everyone assume I'm special, lol.
The Lemon Vanilla Cake is good... to be honest its only tasting slightly different than Lemon Cream at this point. People have noted that it takes a while for the cake notes to come forward in the other vanilla cakes though. Can't compare it to POET because I don't have it. Vaperev only ships via FedEx...

Later in the day I found the base, and I think I might be able to salvage it. The base looks fine, even the center tube was OK.
I was also thinking this is a true testament to the quality of the Vamo.
I'm going to scratch in a note on my list of equipment to purchase when I decide to go APV...

I let your first potshot slide, as, admittedly, my response was not particularly helpful. It was, however, I presume, true, as evidenced by even Apptiger's response that he has experienced the same issue that you and I had with that particular clearo. I've never had Strawberry Banana Cream Pie. I have had juices taste burnt or gotten dry hits, however. What was wrong? My juice delivery -- which also happened to be the exact clearo you are using. And how did I bash it again? By stating that I no longer use something because of MY experience with it?
YOU framed the question as one in which that specific juice could be causing the issue.
Now it is working properly again? Did the juice change? I think not.
I apologized for making you feel judged, yet you continued on in here, typing as if you're being persecuted for using a clearo.
Plenty of vapers in this thread use clearomizers, new and veteran. Plenty of posters have also come in here and on other threads asking the same thing you asked. What was the determination in an overwhelming fashion? The user's equipment.
Had you just thanked folks and not threw in the extra comments, there wouldn't have been any problem.
Bottom line is no one in here wants another vaper to not enjoy Ahlusion's juices. So they'll (even me) try to help you as best as they can.
