Someone please help:
I have decided to stop being elusive and give Ahlusion the information about me they are so eagerly trying to obtain. Got another "please give your thoughts on the liquid" request. When I try to do that and click on the eliquid in question, it takes me to a place that looks to be a review. Is this where I write what I thought including what equipment I am using?

You reply in the email. Be sure to include how you vape. They want to know if you drip, use cartos, etc. The links are just there to remind you of the juice and I also use them to mark a favorite or to add it to my cart if it was a sample that I want to order in a larger size.

I have a bunch of feedback emails saved. I put them all in a folder until I'm ready to respond. I haven't bothered to get any juice profiled yet. But they really do need at least one response so they know how you vape. Include any problems you might have with PG, VG, or specific flavoring. I can't vape cinnamon. It makes my throat itch. Plus I hate mint or menthol.

Hmm..maybe that's why I've never tasted even a hint of mint in Fijian nights. Has anyone noticed the mint?

"American Blend #2" ? Is this s new tobacco? It's in the XPress section. Anybody know anything about it?

From Ahlusion search results:
A non-aromatic tobacco blend. Available in 5 ml, 10 ml and 30 ml.
Created on 19 March 2014

Maybe someone who has visited the cafe has tried it and will chime in. It's definitely on my "must try" list.

I asked in notes to leave out the mint, if possible, when I ordered Fijian nights. Also, my profile definitely includes problems I've had with mint flavors tasting like Vicks VapoRub to me. :(

However, the Fijian Nights came with a touch of mint. Thankfully, it was just a hint of a soft mint that had no trace of Vicks. You might miss the mint if you aren't dripping it.

It's a very sweet (almost sickeningly sweet to me) Marlboro-like cigarette vape. I'm not a fan, although they usually have it at the cafe, so I'm sure many love it.

I spent a very nice afternoon at Vaporcraft in Clawson, MI, vaping and talking with Mia11, Dustmight and Mr. Mann. Here's hoping this ad hoc vape club has another meeting sometime soon!

Thank you so much. I have to take EVERYTHING apart, even O rings??? Oh dear. Never could build a bicycle.

What are PMMA clear full M tanks from Greece. Never heard of them. So, are you saying that I should not vape my CPBT in the clear section of the Russian? I do not want to melt my new toy. That is distressing if I can not vape it in there. Although, I have the metal tank section. Then how do you tell when you need to refill the Russian?

I guess it is a lucky thing that I have denture cleaner, lol. I was dreading having to use the Ajax dish soap; it has a chemical smell to it. I would have gone and bought something else.

I will take it all apart tomorrow. I have to be in the right frame of mind. Does it all unscrew? How hard is it to get the little O rings back on? Any particular tips or video to watch. Bigger project than I anticipated. So many pieces.

You will be fine. I'm sure of it! For mere mortals like me /lol its a step by step thing and all the little goodies will eventually fall into place. You have a marvelous support system in our little thread. Sorry...I should have been more detailed. Blame it on our own "QOC" hahahah. Leave all the o rings in place at this stage BUT lube them and get into the habit of inspecting them. If you see threads a little lube will also help. Our first goal in the "Cult Class 1" is to get the device clean and impart in you a level of comfort with the device before you start a build. I don't mean to preach so please excuse me.

Another one I missed out on during my visit. Sounds like no love lost there...

Anyone had the Berry Shangri-La Tea? "A blend of our berries, coconuts and oriental spices infused tea"

Are their tea flavors very strong? I'd love a strong flavored black tea vape. I just got this black tea with coconut flakes at the co-op and the smell is amazing so I went to Ahlusion and looked around since they have a lot of tea and that was the closest thing I saw.
I ordered the Yerba Mate during the sale, pretty curious to try that one.
Also got Smooth Criminal & Shipwreck but I already know I'll like those.

Likewise Sir! A great group indeed, one I could certainly meet and vape with on the regular. Many thanks for your juice generosity, as I came so poorly prepared for the occasion. Already got me some Tobacco Haze on the way...

All over the place

Well, hmm, it's a strange bird -- very strange. I've vaped a 30 mL of it, and then on the next 30 mL I couldn't get passed 10 mL. I do, however, like American Blend no.3 more as it is not as sweet. The liquids incorporate cardamom as a Marlboro-esque note and some odd, unlike any other, sweetness. The tobacco in #3 is very cig like, and it hits hard! But do they both approximate the Marlboro feel? Yes and no. Better than most, but that sweetness from #2 sends it over the top. #3 is less sweet and, once again, hits pretty hard -- quite cig like -- but the sweetness comes around from extended steeping, but nowhere near #2.

One of the strange things about the #2 is that is in fact a steeper, but not in the sense, IMO, that you can leave it steeping indefinitely and know that it'll get continually get better. If you get it, try it often and if you ever find that you like it, vape it then and keep vaping it until it's gone. This isn't so much the case with #3, but #3 (obviously) is a furthering of the cause of #2.

I can say this -- I bet for those on the mad dash to find a cig (Marlboro) replacement, they may be content with #2, but if they even kinda like #2, I bet they'll love #3.

[edit* If you try these liquids fresh and get a plasticy taste, know that that is just the freshness and that'll leave, but you still may never like it or agree that the weirdness ever left. So go buy a bottle now! LOL]

Oh, and for those that got Sweet Virginia -- I like mine steeped for a while, but once it reaches it's flavor max, it stays good -- steeper to coaster.

Thank you for the links and the assurance that at this stage I do not have to deal with teeny, tiny O rings. You, and the rest of the vets here in this thread have been an amazing help to me. I want you all to know that I appreciate it very much. You all have given me the courage to even attempt rebuilding.

I am not going to put a coil into the Russian until I am sure that I can make a few quality, long lasting coils for the Igo-L and the other unknown name cheapie RBA I have. I know I need more practice. But I am so thrilled I did a real good one. It is still vaping great and tasting good, all evening now.

I have watched the Pbusardo video a couple of times and a couple others over the past few weeks. Will watch all. I am just going to make a simple microcoil with cotton and hopefully be at around 2.0ohms. Hopefully by the end of the week. Plus, I want to change the cotton a few times just so I know the right amount to use before I fill up a big tank. For a girl who drips into a 510 atty 95% of the time, filling a 4.5ml tank is like putting the ocean in a bottle. Want it to be right, or as close as I can get.

Still waiting on my Sweet Virginia, but after having some of yCy's today, I don't think I'll visiting the Sahara again. Cardamom in the #2 & 3 you say? Now I'm intrigued...

My cleaning ritual for a new atomizer is: I break it down into its pieces (8 pieces for the KFL+/Russian 91%), I don't bother to take off the o-rings or all the screws. Place the 8 pieces
image.jpg
in a coffee cup with one pump of dish soap then fill the cup with the hottest tap water I have. Then I wait until the water reaches room temperature, place my hand over the top of the cup and pour off the water and refill it again with hot tap water. There will be enough suds left in the cup to suds up again. I do this about 3 times total and finish it off with a quick rinse. I either let the 8 pieces air dry or just dry with a paper towel. I also always make sure to blow any excess water out of the air hole on the bottom deck piece.

On a new Russian 91% the main thing I always do is tighten down the build block. There's that small rectangular piece on which you will build your coil and new it probably isn't tightened down enough thus will spin around when you tighten the screw.
image.jpg
There's a picture. You see a screw on either side of the build deck with the air hole in the middle. The larger section of the build block on the left in the picture is prone to rotating if you don't tighten down the center air hole post. To do this flip it over and the center post is composed of two screws. The first screw
image.jpg
Is what makes connection with your device. There is another screw underneath that one. Take the first screw out, hold the rectangular build block in place with a pair of pliers or vise grips (so it doesn't spin) while tightening the center post down. Then reinsert the connection screw.

Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you. I would have been soooo distraught to find out I could not vape my Caramel Pear Black Tea in my new Russian 91%. This is wonderful news.

Didn't you get the metal tank section with your Russian? It should have come with one for juices that aren't plastic safe.

Yes, I have it. I thought that was what is was, but I was not sure. After all this I am going to be a mechanic! Imagine that. lol

Dear husband is getting nervous watching me root around his workbench and giving me funny looks at the types of questions I am asking him about tools and screwdrivers and pliers, etc. He did watch me build a coil and is proud of me. He actually tried my CPBT vape and he has never smoked. Gotta give him credit for being supportive. He even went out and bought me a set of screwdrivers, just for me.
