Dear husband is getting nervous watching me root around his workbench and giving me funny looks at the types of questions I am asking him about tools and screwdrivers and pliers, etc. He did watch me build a coil and is proud of me. He actually tried my CPBT vape and he has never smoked. Gotta give him credit for being supportive. He even went out and bought me a set of screwdrivers, just for me.

That's great! I think there is a bit of extra pride vaping on a setup you built yourself. It can sometimes be a frustrating endeavor but I find it ultimately rewarding. Plus you can fine tune your vaping experience. My actual coil building tools are fairly sparse:

Then beyond that I have a bag of cotton balls, several sizes of Kanthal and ekowool as well as a butane torch.

I'm quite happy you are learning to build your own coils. You seem to be enjoying the experience too which is part of the fun! Congrats!

Edit: I use my metal tank section for any absinthe based juices like Ahlusion's Blue Fairy or Lemon Fairy and strong citrus stuff like Zing!

You reply in the email. Be sure to include how you vape. They want to know if you drip, use cartos, etc. The links are just there to remind you of the juice and I also use them to mark a favorite or to add it to my cart if it was a sample that I want to order in a larger size.

I have a bunch of feedback emails saved. I put them all in a folder until I'm ready to respond. I haven't bothered to get any juice profiled yet. But they really do need at least one response so they know how you vape. Include any problems you might have with PG, VG, or specific flavoring. I can't vape cinnamon. It makes my throat itch. Plus I hate mint or menthol.

Hmm..maybe that's why I've never tasted even a hint of mint in Fijian nights. Has anyone noticed the mint?

Despite having been a Newport smoker for 40 years I don't care for menthol very often...and I despise mint. I don't like any kind of it anywhere, not in tea or gum or candy or food or the room that I'm breathing in it. I ordered Fijian Nights without ever noticing the mint leaf in the picture or the word mint in the description and loved it..I had to go double check on the site when someone here mentioned the mint and there it was. Now, if I drip it and I think hard I *do* faintly, faintly taste it there but for some reason it doesn't bother me at all and I decided not to ask to have it without because somehow it's blended in there in a way that works for me. I wouldn't ever have guessed on my own that a mint leaf had been anywhere near it so it's all good. Another Ahlusion trick I guess, like getting me to vape tobacco, maple and tea.

I do not like the mints or menthols either. I do not do cinnamon. But I have had a couple of juices over the last few months that have had a hint of something cool to them, without it being a mint or menthol. It was pleasant and I was surprised. Maybe that is what Ahlusion is doing with their Fijian Nights.

I spent a very nice afternoon at Vaporcraft in Clawson, MI, vaping and talking with Mia11, Dustmight and Mr. Mann. Here's hoping this ad hoc vape club has another meeting sometime soon!

Wish I could have been there to meet you all. Would even say jealous except the game announcer said it was 22 degrees up there. 85ish here....Tigers got three in the bottom of the eighth to tie it and gave up 4 in ninth to lose 8-4.

Anyone had the Berry Shangri-La Tea? "A blend of our berries, coconuts and oriental spices infused tea"

Are their tea flavors very strong? I'd love a strong flavored black tea vape. I just got this black tea with coconut flakes at the co-op and the smell is amazing so I went to Ahlusion and looked around since they have a lot of tea and that was the closest thing I saw.
I ordered the Yerba Mate during the sale, pretty curious to try that one.
Also got Smooth Criminal & Shipwreck but I already know I'll like those.

The tea flavor in all I've tried have been quite subtle. The tea component, to me, provides more of a feeling of coolness and refreshment, rather than "this is tea I'm tasting." It's more of a combination of all the flavors making a great vape. The overall flavor level for me is the same as most of Ahlusion's other offerings.

I asked in notes to leave out the mint, if possible, when I ordered Fijian nights. Also, my profile definitely includes problems I've had with mint flavors tasting like Vicks VapoRub to me.

However, the Fijian Nights came with a touch of mint. Thankfully, it was just a hint of a soft mint that had no trace of Vicks. You might miss the mint if you aren't dripping it.

I bet that's it. Next time I drip I'll give it a try and see if I can find it!

It's my favorite of all teas! Berry Shangri-La, Black Pomegranate, and Caramel Pear Black Tea are my top 3. The flavors are all strong and awesome. Be sure to get them unsweetened. Sweetener mutes the flavors. Vanilla Black Tea is another of my faves and also Black Peach Tea. I recommend you try them all! They are that good. The flavors really are amazing and replace tobacco for me.

Some people do like them sweetened. But even though I do like sweet juice I find it ruins the teas for me.

I agree, I wouldn't ask them to change a thing. The flavor is just too good. The way Wlad creates his mixes I'm sure it plays an important part and it may end up being a completely different juice without it. Ahlusion has a way of getting us to vape all kinds of flavors that we never imagined liking.

I also didn't know it was banana. LOL. I thought I hated banana vapes! So I didn't taste banana or mint. I can now pick out the banana but not the mint. It is just an amazing flavor. To me it's like a spiced up piña Colada.

We need a banana cream, too. I need to make a list and submit it. So far I want pomegranate and banana. I bet a Berry would be good, too.

for those that got Sweet Virginia -- I like mine steeped for a while, but once it reaches it's flavor max, it stays good -- steeper to coaster.

I use clearos, mostly EVODs at 1.8Ω, and I rebuild my coils, but the coils, both new and rebuilt are hit or miss for maximum flavor. With a good coil Ahlusion juices are out of this world, so when I get a not-so-hot coil (or 2 or 3) it's disappointing, since I know what it can taste like.

So I'm looking to try some new hardware. I read lots of good things about Kayfun (and it's clones) and would love to hear from other Ahlusionati who are using a Kayfun, especially those who "graduated" from clearos. I'm thinking of pairing one with a Provari, so battery recommendations/suggestions will be appreciated as well.

I know this may seem a tad off-topic, but not really, since it's all about tasting the best juice: Ahlusion!

I switched form CE4/5's to a kayfun clone...worlds of difference, much better. Since then I have bought two more kayfun clones, and have not used a clearo since.

I migrated from a PT2 to a Igo-W to a gaggle of Kayfun. Some of the later are the real deal and others are clones. I suggest you migrate to a Igo-w for several reasons:

Drippers (RDA) always have a place in your "army", especially if you use silica and switch flavors often like I do via a dry burn and or light the silica on fire or a quick wash.
It's an inexpensive (like around $15) way to experience the enhanced flavor of some AHL juices and is about the same flavor enhancements as the KF crowd at a significantly lower cost
It's an ideal device to practice your build skills
It's simple so you don't need to deal with 8 different parts
You may stop chasing flavor with your dripper which is fine since their are plenty of more expensive drippers with things like air flow control, deeper decks, squonkers, and the list goes on and on. I upgraded my drippers and love the options they provide.
If possible, I suggest you buy your Igo-w at a local B&M so they can enlarge the air holes if you need that.
Hopefully our very own Jerms will chime in with some thoughts since I think he has a gaggle of low cost (think FT) drippers and rotates them depending on what flavor he wants to vape.
EDIT: Inexpensive Drippers are usually available for purchase via numerous sources. The same can not be said for the real deal KFL+ V2 or the very high end clones like the Russian 91% or the "Black" KF clone which IMHO is the best clone available. All of these devices are 510 threading so your all set with your ProVari and the AW IMR button top 18650 which ProVape sells is fine.

Tea's are good but you may or may not want an extra tea kick

I would try one black tea and if you feel you need more ask for it the next order

I personally did not really take to the berry Shangri-La but I do know others that really like it
My Tea fav's so far is boba tea, caramel pear black tea, and I will try very soon vanilla BT

I fond they are good after 2 weeks but get better after a month

Also did you give orient whisper a try yet
this is a really good juice that is a little difrent

Took stock of how much HHV Dragon's Fire I have left and decided to mix my Vanilla Wild Wood. I could not wait so I cheated a little by vaping the VWW.

I revised my post from yesterday to exclude my IKV Carto recommendation. Have had problems with 4 now and I apologize for the premature recommendation.

Might be going to building coils in the near future. I wish I had more time now since your posted advice has been awesome.

Well, when I first tired it, it had been sitting around at the shop for quite some time, so my first vape was of a steeped version. I din't like the fresh version all that much -- mostly in comparison to the steeped version -- so I let my bottle sit. At some point it became exactly what I wanted to vape! How much time that took will be more individual and I kinda forgot about checking back in with it periodically so I can't exactly say when it made the switch -- but it did make switch.

If your budget includes a Provari and Kayfun, may I suggest you also consider a REO? I got rid of my KFL+s and am selling my Provari. I flavor chased until I got my first REO. Then it was game over.
