Dang it man! This well steeped Maple Wildwood I'm vaping is giving Caramel Wildwood a serious run for its money. I never, NEVER thought in a million years that I'd be liking maple flavor ever again. A few other " vendors" ruined maple for me....until now! Wlad is a freekin genius!

I have not tried the Maple Wild Wood but have been taste vaping a 10ml of the Maple River Tree Blend for the past few months. I am finding it a mild tobacco with a very nice maple note to it. Not Smooth Criminal or Caramel Wild Wood territory, but an enjoyable vape.

I am really enjoying my bottle of Maple Dream. It surprised me.

Holy Moly! I just got my first Ahlusion order. I've only tried one so far, but I'm so ready to dump the juice from my other tanks! My first was Strawberry Vanilla Cake and I would swear I just ate a piece of cake! Its that good. I can't wait to get to the other kinds!

And....wait for it, wait for it......there you go, the hook has been set!

Order with confidence Malkin. I've not had a bad Ahlusion juice to date

One of my favorites and I never thought that I would like Maple as a vape.

EKat in this Thread suggested that I try this one and I am thankful I did. Will not admit to how many Bottles of this one is in the Stash now :)

Me too! I was afraid of maple because others I tried were syrupy sweet. Not Ahl's maple. It is very mellow. HA! just realized I am vaping MWW as I read and type! Big bottle should be here the end of the week. Already shipped. I won't be home from Wed until next Tues., but that just takes away from my "don't touch!" time. I am still working on a 10ml that hooked me. Between big bottles of CWW, VWW and MWW (and a little PWW), I am in WW heaven!

I'm tellin ya Randy -- I'm sold hook line and..wait a min I don't use sinkers..lol
OK, OK, Ahlusion threw a fluke out there and I swallowed it up! :p I'm definitely a fan. Now I need a little advice ..from anyone.
I like Just Criminal better than Smooth Criminal. Shipwreck is a definite re-order. Deal Maker I haven't tried but will on my next order, sounds good. What other Tobaccos are as awesome as those ones?

Actually, the letter to the editor would be ok if it weren't for that prominent link, entitled, "Some E-Cigarettes Deliver a Puff of Carcinogens". I'm sure that was no accident. The majority of readers will take it at face value, but if they read the entire article referenced, it has more factual information. The negative part is that coils can produce carcinogens if they get too hot. It fails to point out that no sane vaper will be breathing the stuff if that happens. It will taste horrific. I'm sure we have all experienced dry hits, or other overheating, and I'm sure those were nowhere near the levels implied as dangerous.

sorry for the diversion

Good article imo, headline aside. I am not sure where you read the part about the coils. To me it was clear that the authors of the study were saying that the nic juice, pg and vg produce a lot more formaldehyde when the heat is intense, and they seem to say dripping is really bad. This is really important info, imo.

Most of us know deep down that we are engaging in harm reduction, and not harm elimination, and the more studies the better. Especially when there is this developing sub-culture intent on producing more and more wattage, as if vaping has become a competitive sport.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that some of these studies give ammunition to the anti-vaping crowd, but i am for more and more studies, even if we may not like the results.

edit :most relevant part of article imo :

Both studies point to the same phenomenon: Intense heat can change the composition of e-liquids, creating new chemicals. Importantly, the researchers said, the chemical reactions apply not only to the liquid nicotine, but also to two other crucial ingredients in most e-liquids: vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol.

Precisely what level of heat causes the reaction is difficult to pinpoint. The Roswell research found, generally, that when battery voltage increased to 4.8 volts from 3.2 volts, toxin levels increased markedly.

Ok, so I've received and tasted all of the flavors in my first Ahlusion order. Here are my initial impressions:

Orange Creamsicle - Yum Yum Yum!! Mellow, sweet creamy orange goodness!

Mango Lassi - Nice, balanced, lightly fruity, creamy - very vapeable, but not a standout for me (yet)

Coco-berry Cream - meh... I have yet to find a coconut vape I like, and I LOVE coconut flavored foods and scents. The coconut juices all taste extremely dry, somewhat bitter and musty to me, and this one was no exception. The berry was very subtle here, and it was not very creamy, but may improve with steeping?? Either that, or perhaps I just don't like coconut vapes.

Tarte Tatin Apple - a GREAT choice for my free sample. Warm and sweet baked apple goodness with a slight mapley thing going on - in a good way! A mellow hint of cinnamon completes this flavor. It reminds me of apple flavored instant oatmeal with the little pieces of apple in it. A true comfort food in vape form!

Boba Tea (plain) - OMG, this might be tantamount to blasphemy, but I disliked this one so much :( Like all the worst qualities of a coconut vape that I mentioned above (musty, dry, bitter) without any other redeeming qualities to balance it out for my particular palate. I will definitely let this one sit for a few weeks and try again, but it may just not be for me. If anyone else is not a fan of this juice, I'd love to know I'm not alone here

I feel a little guilty about this mixed review based on some of the glowingly positive reviews that I've seen others post, but I am actually quite impressed with the Orange Cream and the Apple Tarte, and would definitely re-order from them again. I would love to try some of their other fruit creams and bakery flavors! :)

Received my latest order today. Lemon Cream, Jump n Jive, Ginger Candy and a big bottle of Lime Cream.

Had to try the Lemon Cream. YUM. I'm not sure I'd be able to choose lemon or lime.

Ginger Candy smells interesting. Will let that one sit for a bit.

Jump n Jive smells like cherries and limes. I've not had a cherry vape before.

All this talk about Maple Wild Wood and Maple Dream.. I'll definitely have to include one with my next order.

To me Boba Tea tastes like slightly sweetened milk. I've not had that tea in real life, maybe that's what it is supposed to taste like. I didn't get any musty taste from it, though. I didn't find it to be a bad vape, but not a reorder for me.

Definitely try a fruit cream on your next order. Vape perfection. mmmmm.

Don't feel bad for giving a mixed review. Every flavor is not for every person and they have so many to choose from!

I don't like Boba Tea either, one of the few. I do find it to taste like the Boba Tea I've had irl, which I think is just yucky.
The Mango Lassi will definitely improve with a steep, so revisit it.
Love the Tarte Tatins. It isn't cinnamon that gives them their hint of spice, as Wlad doesn't use cinnamon. But it does taste like it.

Maybe musty is not be quite the right word - it's kind of a bitter spiciness that resembles a flavor I've tasted in Thai food before. It may be "galangal" I'm thinking of, but not sure if that's correct...

In any case, I'm not getting any sweetness or milkiness out of it, or maybe the spiciness is just overpowering for now. It's so strange how differently people perceive flavors, isn't it? :?:
