Honestly, this thread propelled me into trying Ahlusion and I am genuinely grateful, although I haven't seen the op back. I try to help out when I can--I am just happy to not be bummin' cigarettes out anymore. HA

p.s. I thank you for your words.

Ok well just enough time has gone by for me to order some Ahlusion liquids :) just got them on Friday!

While I want to give some first impressions, none of these have had time really to properly steep, so I will definately get back again after they do!

Here is what I tried :
All items ordered were 30mg quantity and came with very nice, detailed labels in cobalt blue glass bottles with glass droppers, classy!

Car-Mal Mambo(ordered as reccommended 50/50) - described on the site as deep, rich warm, creamy, malty with " hidden complexity".
Impressions : I think this one will need to steep more to properly appreciate, however I do like it, malty, earthy and not too sweet.

Ginger- Orange Oolong - (ordered 50/50 no mint /menthol) - had to try this one after the OP's description.
Impressions : could not wait, simply had to try immediately upon receiving. The "orange" cracked me over the head, stole my wallet ....... Well ;) it was overwhelming. I just tried it again after a few days and a hot water steep (mind you I still don't think I've given it quite long enough yet). The top note of orange has tamed significantly and it really seems to be coming together nicely. I'm vaping it as I type this and I'm really digging the slight spicy note of ginger and the orange, it's actually very very pleasant! The orange reminds me of the strong orange flavors you get in say a dark chocolate bar.

Bubble Berry Blast (50/50 w/frost menthol level) - my wife picked this one and seems to like it, sorry nothing about this flavor is my cup of tea, so I'm not much help on this one :(

Melon Berry Frost (again 50/50 w/ frost of course) - again one my wife picked out, she is the menthol fan. Have to say though that I tried this one and was very pleasantly surprised. I'm generally not a big menthol fan, but I really really enjoyed this one. The other notable and very nice thing about this is the melon flavor is so absolutely spot on! I've got about 6-8 honeydews growing in the backyard right now and the taste of this juice is just perfect, like the last one I picked! And it struck me as well balanced also, there are definately other flavors going on here but everything plays really well together.

Anyways those are some first impressions, I'm going to finish letting them steep properly (if I can) and I'll report back! First impressions were VERY favorable.

And a note on service, I receieved a nice simple hand written message on my invoice along with a sample of van mango I requested(but haven't had a chance to try yet). It was obvious that the comments I left when ordering were read, very nice and personal touch! My experience with comments with other vendors has usually been that they are typed back at me on an invoice while being totally ignored lol.

Yes- that one was thanks to you & the tea was from "the cat" :) Now I have about 7 more on the list- drats!!! or maybe YUM???

 Oooh, the Ginger Apple Tea is one of the new ones I have on its way to me now! We can compare notes! :)

(I have a hint about their teas: because they have alcohol in them, I let them steep the first 48 hours with the tops off, so the ETOH can off-gas. Then I steep them a few weeks more with the caps back on, 'cause I'm an inveterate steeper! :D)

Great tip, E. I have tried their several of their juices, non-tobaccos I am referring to, and they are not very alcohol-y to start; however, after the subsequent steep--I do the same initially as Eleanor--the flavors become crystal clear. I swear these juices are equivalent to listening to music out of Bose headphones.

p.s. From my experience, the non-aromatic tobaccos e.g. SC, Vecchio, HB, PC are more in need of the cap-off steep...like a must!

So am I - mainly because people keep recommending so much good stuff I can't wait to get hold of, that if I bought I bought 5 of these and stuck 1 in each ear and 1 up each nostril and went 24/7 it would take me a year to get through what I already have Thanks ogredog for finding this - hilarious.

Has anybody tried Jade Dew? I'm a big green tea fan, but I'm curious as to how that would translate to vapor.

My last order I had it in my cart and then took it out. :( I really wanted to try it, but for some reason it didn't make the final cut. Good to see you over here, Tez.

Thanks -- good to be here! Yeah, I need a change of scenery...

Tez, I can attest to their teas being damn near alarmingly accurate. I don't know if it is on this page or not, but Eleanor and I talked about their Ginger Orange Oolong with amazement. For most people, I think, the tea juices may not be strong enough or screaming the notes suggested in the name or description, but that is not how tea is really. Man, when I say I can actually discern the oolong from the juice, I am serious. How they managed to actually capture the distinct presence of oolong along with the ginger and orange is beyond me. So when you see a specific tea (like oolong, black, or green etc), it is not a generic tea taste. Tez, I think it is safe to assume you will indeed like these.

If someone reading this doesn't appreciate loose leaf tea and have really only experienced Lipton types of tea, then Ahlusion may not be for you. Someone that appreciates steeping time (for tea), most teas have very specific steep times, and you appreciate delicate, accurate and the aromatic sensuousness of experiencing tea, Ahlusion will suffice. Arnold Palmer lovers look elsewhere, at least if that is your sole love affair with tea.
