I've seen it reported just the opposite - taste is subjective :) ... but, I got more apple in the river tree blend than the house blend, and some woodiness which is also nice - like BWB applewood, if you liked that but more apple. I like both AH and ART, almost equally but would hit the RT a bit more. Peach RT good too. I have peachy criminal in the cart right now. If you've had the non-apple House Blend and liked it you'd like the Apple House - for me pleasant and a bit more subtle than the Apple RT. With the RT you can bring out even more apple by lowering wattage. Haven't tried Wild wood.

I'm more subscribing to this thread than adding to it, as my only experience with Ahl's baccos is the aromatics, Smooth Criminal, Sahara, JG Blend, and Dulce Cubanito; none of the River Tree or House Blends. I just received the Apple Wild Woods, but the very brief test I had of it straight from the mailbox is that I'm really going to dig the Wild Woods line. The apple seemed very subtle, which may change as it steeps, and the tobacco had a wonderful note to it that was either woodsy or nutty.

I plan on trying the River Tree line, as I've heard it has a surprisingly good nuttiness to it. Peachy Criminal I'm looking forward to, as I love Smooth Criminal and Sweet Georgia Peach in the aro line is amazing. Will eventually try the house line, but it's last on my list. I've actually loved all the tobaccos I've had from Ahl, though Dulce Cubanito, which I just tested fresh so far, could go either way.

Wild wood apple and cheery in my wish list...

Although my preference for Ahlusion flavors would typically follow this order -- maple, cherry, apple, peach -- the Peach Wild Wood is my favorite. The peach and wood really grasp onto each other and meld in a very natural way, even moreso than in Sweet Georgia Peach.

That was my thought too when I briefly tasted the apple WW, that their peach would play nice with those wood notes. Also thought the vanilla would too.

Second, watch your mouth when speaking about SGP. :p :D

Oh, the vanilla. I tried it in the store and it indeed seemed great, but I had been sampling so many other things that I wasn't 100% sure. And they didn't have any in Xpress to sell!

But it seemed milder than Vecchio, which I don't really like.

My brief tast of the Apple WW, the apple seemed really light. Not in a bad way, I actually liked the hint of apple. Wondered if that would change with age. Was that you're experience too?

Yup. Hope the apple grows a little, but I doubt it. It's not strong in Apple HB either.

That's cool. Apple has a certain tartness to me in ejuice that does better taking a back seat. I want that tasty WW bacco to take the lead.

I agree. So does Wlad. He explained that the sweet meat of the apple doesn't translate well to juice, and especially tobacco flavors. I like the very mellow apple mixing with the sweet Cavandish in Apple HB, but there are about fifteen A+ non-aros I prefer.

Woot! I was able to get an Ahlusion order placed on their website today. I'm can't wait to try the Wild Woods- I ordered both cherry and apple... I like the House Blend- both provide great apple & cherry flavors, but I always kind of felt they were missing "something" when it comes to tobacco flavor. I also ordered up some SC, DM, and you guessed it- Gold Rising, which I've been dying to try! I did leave my A+ order a little light, so I could afford some GEJ GJ-4, which I had to order after reading such good reviews

Here is the way that I take it...

House Blend - Fruit & Tobacco Flavor

River Tree Blend - Fruit & Woody Tobacco Flavor

Wild Wood Blend - Fruit & Deep Woody Smoky Tobacco Flavor

Got my peach and apple wild wood. This is right on, according to my palate. Thanks! My top choice is the peach wild wood... peachy criminal is very close. Peach RT is still good, I just like the smokey notes better in the PWW and AWW. SGP is steeping ... as are the rest but the WW's taste good right off the bat for me....

I highly suggest vaping some SGP now. With the aromatic, the complementary flavor fades a bit quickly compared to non-aros. It's great both ways though.

I did try it... if no steep, then perhaps it's not the one for me.... We'll see. I'll give it another shot at various wattages....
