I like the sound of that. I kind of get the impression that the non aromatics are very light in the tobacco department, is that true? Also my question still stands for anyone else that wants to chime in

some input for vurley, maple burley, and cocoa blend would be much appreciated
I'll probably be made to regret this, but I'll give you my take. Taste is so subjective and ymmv.
The non-aromatics I tried were lightweight tobaccos and quite sweet. I didn't get any cinnamon from Smooth Criminal, I did get something "nutty". If you get Vecchio Blend get it with the strong tobacco option because the light tobacco is basically no tobacco. The vanilla in it is quite good, it tastes like the pure vanilla extract that you get in the little bottles, but it needs more tobacco to round it out.
The aromatics were very vegetative, very strong (and I got the "mild" ones). The tobacco overwhelmed the flavorings that were in them for me. If there had been no labels on the bottles I'm not positive I could have told which was which. I mentioned that Vecchio Blend was vanilla with little tobacco, Vurley is the exact opposite, strong tobacco with just a tiny hint of vanilla.
Bear in mind that, while there are only a few juices in my box that aren't NETs, I'm a bit of a candyass when it comes to strong tobaccos. You mentioned HHV, and using them for perspective, the A+ non-aromatics are in the same ballpark, not that they taste the same, just that they're sweetish, lighter tobaccos. The aromatics on the other hand are a completely different animal.
This isn't really meant to be a review, but more of a broad perspective.
