Smooth Criminal plays in two different ways for people. For some (the minority it looks like) it's straight-up sweet tobacco and for others it contains notes of multiple things. Cinnamon and some type of nut seems to be the most common. Also have seen maple, honey, nouget, chocolate, and even strawberry. I think only lovely Hawaiian woman detect strawberry notes though.

Speaking of strawberry, I picked up a package of them at the supermarket the other day. I love strawberries, and even bad ones are good, but these were definately on the bad side. Since when are strawberries almost the size of apples?? Some of them even had what I would call a core! I prefer my strawberries regular sized. And the redder the better. And the sweeter the neater. And the juicier the... ummmmm... juicy is good too.

Steeped two months it tastes like tobacco and caramel to me. Or honey.

When I get local strawberries in the summer they seem hilariously small compared with the California megaflora from the supermarket. But they taste so much better.

That's because strawberries are a winter/cool weather crop.

Me too. Well aged it all plays as tobacco notes to me, with a slight bit of of sweetness in the honey/caramel category. Pure, medium, delicious tobacco.

I'm looking forward for the genetically unmodified strawberries to become available. Small sweet bites of heaven.
