:glare: Cats DO NOT carry boxes. We just USE them. What you do with them from there is entirely up to you humans.

Every time someone mentions "Romulus," I think of this li'l sweet guy:

He's the one on top. RIP August 2011, age 17+. His adoptive brother Remus (looked a little like the one on the bottom) was killed on his one-year-old birthday.

For you, Eleanor:

Hahahaha....and girls like me don't carry them either...in fear of breaking a nail! (that's why I had to run out during "the move" before.....cuz that's what I usually do in real life moves) :)

OH! Sorry about Remus. Romulus had a long life! But I'm sure he's missed. I have 2.5 longhair cats. They live in the garage in a condo I built for them. It's a 2' diameter x 5' Sonotube that I insulated and carpeted. There is a divider in the middle so they can sleep together, or apart. It's on a platform wedged where 3 heated walls come together, at the ceiling, with a carpeted ramp they jump up to, to keep varmints out. And it has a picture window on each side. I measured the temp on a day it was 6 below outside, and it was 49 in there. Two kids are allergic, so they rarely come indoors.

Anyway, the .5 cat is Shadow. She's our oldest at 14yrs. She is jet black like your avatar, with huge shimmering green eyes. She disappeared last summer for 3 months, we were sure she was a goner. Then she showed up. Then she left again. We found out this spring, at a neighborhood party (we only have 12 neighbors, so we all get together once a year) that she moved in with the newest family! We only give them dry Iams, and this neighbor moved her inside, and they feed her Natural Balance Chicken & Liver Pate! Microwaved for exactly 3 seconds! They said she won't eat it at 5 sec., or cold. Gotta be 3. And only sleeps on her favorite pillow. They were as shocked as WE were. She's beautiful, very regal profile, and they couldn't believe someone abandoned her. They took her to a vet only to find she'd been spayed, and was obviously well cared for/brushed/etc. but clearly an "outdoor" cat, so they couldn't figure it out.

They asked us if we wanted her back. HAHAHAHA! Like she'd COME back, given her new lifestyle. We told them no, she is getting old and is likely to start having arthritis issues and such, and we were glad she found an indoor home at her age. But where she was very muscular and spry, she's getting kinda fat and lazy, and I asked that they only let her out often to run, NOT de-claw her, and not let her get too fat. Now we know where to go to visit her. Her daughter is our 2nd cat, and after we initially gave up on Shadow, we went and got another longhair from the "pound". She's a Tortie, and SUPER affectionate. I was the Enforcer with Shadow and Shelby, so they were kind of aloof to me. I refuse with Luna, that's MY cat and I spoil her. Someone else can kick her out of the house when she runs in, we're buds.

Hey all,

Essentially we will be applying (that is the important part: applying) for a social group, not a sub-forum, so there is a chance that it will be rejected. Worse case scenario, we will just move to the lounge. A thread in the social lounge is not the same thing, but we could start a few threads there with whatever names we want and it will surely be used by just us...maybe with the occasional floater. There would be no moderators needed or anything like that, but it would be ours.

Or we could take it off-board, create our forum with our own threads (music thread, gear thread, new favorites thread, axolotly praise thread, book talk thread, movie talk thread, Boba Tea gone wild thread, etc.).

I don't see why it would be rejected. It could just come right before the Atheist Vapers social group. There are a TON of social groups.

Interesting. I have never taken a look at the social groups. I'm going to stay away for the time being, because if there is a social group called "2 Live Crew and You" (which I'm sure there is), you fine folks would never see me again!

Relevantly, there are two other vendor-specific Social Groups that I see.
