DI, the non-aromatic tobaccos take along time to steep and I do understand what you are talking about, but it has gone now. I promise you, the only tobaccos (IMO) that should really even be considered are their aromatics (though I do dig SC, HB and Vecchio). I understand the process of steeping is kinda goofy, but like some of BWB's juices, some juices really need awhile to gel. Their Premium aromatic tobaccos are the lick and are fine after a day or so. The River Tree tobaccos Wlad told me to stay away from -- those are pretty much made for a certain group of people that buy from Ahlusion, not necessarily for the average customer -- though anyone can try.

May have to give them another go then and avoid the non aromatic tobaccos. I'll add that to the maybe list. :)

I posted an article (or an email, I can't remember) in this thread about it. Ahlusion has some type a system of customization for customers based on their feedback and once Ahlusion receives that feedback, they tailor juices for that particular customers desires. Well, the new "code" system was implemented because of how so many of us share liquids with each other. If you were to receive a juice from me that had been tailored to my needs, you would receive a slightly different juice if you ordered it simply by the name of that juice. The code is on the bottles so that if you in fact fall in love with a juice, you can just enter that code and the juice will come exactly how it was made for that specific bottle. If for some reason the bottle you receive didn't have the code (maybe someone gave you a sample in a smaller bottle) all you would have to do is get that code from the person that sent it to you, or get their last name and the your juice can be tailored the exact same way.

From Ahlsuion's site: "Why do flavors differ between people?

FAQs - About Our Liquids
This is a fairly common question we receive: "Why does my e-liquid [I purchased directly from Ahlusion] taste different from the sample I received from a friend?"

The reason is simple, but not quite understood as this is unique to Ahlusion, so I'll explain it as best as possible here. Every customer who has provided specific feedback in regards to their e-liquids, has a unique flavor profile. This consists of a bunch of numbers and algorightms that make up the flavor profile used by our mixing software. Say for instance that customer A's flavor profile inducates that she likes sour or bitter flavors, then all recipes for that customer will be modified accordingly. I mention recipes because by using flavor profiles, every customer essentially has his or her own recipes. This is the very simplified way of explaining this, but there's a lot more involved in the backend.

This is one reason to never expect the exact same flavors from an e-liquid received as a sample. To date we have over 700 unique flavor profiles and not one is identical to the other.

This is one reason why we send feedback requests after every order; it is to determine YOUR flavor profile and to make e-liquids the way YOU want it. It's the Ahlusion difference!"

Well...now that's just tiny (or maybe not so tiny) piece of genius right there!! Love it. Omg...I've spent so much on vaping the last 2 weeks that I'm forcing myself to wait until next week to order (since I have a fairly long list of juices I intend to try) and these days are DRAGGING!! LOL

Thanks for reposting this for me Mr.Mann!

It was my pleasure. I am just happy that there is a vendor out there that has more to report on than just having good juice. I mean seriously, where is the evolution? I guess it is in Michigan! LOL

Completely agree....it's great to see something totally new....and will be great to see if they become pioneers (which they obviously already are), and spark a trend.....IF the other vendors have what it takes to follow suit.

That was awesome! Don't get me wrong, there has been a lot of evolving with many vendors, but I have yet to see it at this level and on so many fronts. I just wanted to make the point that Ahlusion is not the only one doing big things, but they do seem to be leading many.

Completely agree. It's the complexity of the flavor profiles & codes,, etc, that is just so impressive to me. 700 custom profiles, and I assume rapidly growing, is no joke for a small, and new business.

I really got to go to bed, so all of my friends need to stop posting for just a minute so my settings doesn't alert me to another post.

Anyway, I think Ahlusion is preparing for a possible apocalypse in the juice manufacturing. The lengths they go to (I have learned of a lot) is nothing short of heroic -- they are building there house upon rock!

Hey Spicy,

I happen to love Ahlusion, but part of why I love Ahlusion is their even-handed approach to flavors -- I don't think your experience of depth of flavor (or lack thereof) will be vastly different from bottle to bottle. However, it is totally up to you if you want to give it another go. One possibility is for you to email Wlad and tell him exactly what you did not like about his juice and what it would take ((very specifiaclly)) for that juice to have been better suited for your specific tastes. He will work with you to try and get your juices up to your liking, but I still don't know if it will be what you're looking for.

Yeah you're right, they might just not be for me. I so want to like them though. I've found three vendor's that agree with me flavor strength-wise, I could and should just stay with them. I won't though because my personality type won't allow it.

I hear you loud and clear. I really think the best thing for you to do then is to communicate with the owners before placing an order. They are some of the more honest vendors out there that will actually steer you away from certain products they know good and well won't fit for you.

ATTENTION ALL LOVERS OF AHLUSION:

How many of you have actually communicated with Wlad and Alley about what you would like to see different in your juices? I want to know how it turned out afterwards. The only thing is, I don't know of what most of us would say is wrong. However, I want to remind you all that the email that comes to you afterwards is not just about feedback, there is a 15% coupon code good for 10 days upon receipt of the message.

p.s. I am happy to have seen new kids post because the time I had talked to Wlad about the new codes being put on the labels, they hadn't yet been implemented. Wlad said they were working on it and I think it is awesome to know that is has happened. Isn't this "smart" feature of their system the most unique feature (just about) of any other liquid vendor?

I have no affiliation with Ahlusion outside of loving their products. I realized lately that it may appear as if I work for them. (I could only be so lucky! ;))

I got that e-mail practically the day I received my juice. At that point I didn't know if I liked their juice, and even at ten days I still wasn't sure. Same with any juice; without steeping who knows for sure? They need to lengthen that time frame. I'm not gonna order more when I'm not yet sure of the current order, even if it is 15% off.

I agree -- I think that would be a good idea. Aside from steep-time, I always need a little time to digest.

I contacted Wlad and asked him about this, he said I could post this:

"Well, we’ll have an answer to the steeping time with our “Xpress” e-liquids, which are pre-steeped or at least have the steeping time cut down to a day or so after opening for the first time. We’ve always had people ask to extend the time [of coupons], which we’ve done without hesitation, so again, it’s simply a matter of folks not talking to us or letting us know what they’d like."

I will say this again, I implore you all to contact the owners and communicate with them. I have never been assisted and and helped so much by a vendor. Oh, Wlad has extended my coupon before, just because I asked. He said the "Xpress" liquids will be available soon.

So far, Ahlusion cherry cola is a surprise hit for me. This stuff is amazing. It's like an old-fashioned fountain soda, with just a hint of underlying spice that gives it a little "bite."

I find it amazing that so many are reporting on liquids from them that I haven't even seen on their site. I guess I am a bit conditioned to only see certain juices, but I have got to open my eyes.

Just Shipped!!:
Boba Tea
Ginger Apple Tea
Blueberry Colada
Carmel Pear Black Tea
and my sample
Star Dust

I'm entirely too excited about this order...been searching and searching for just the right thing!

Star Dust is one my favorites. I will say let it steep though. The first day it was overwhelming. But after a good few days it was wonderful, I could not put it down!!

I have tried 3 of the River Trees just because they were intriguing to me and I have to say what I have tried I love! My favorite tobacco by them is Smooth Criminal just to give you an idea of my tobacco tastes.

I was very surprised with that one too! I was actually quite skeptical of a juice tasting like it but I was so pleasantly surprised! It tastes like the real thing, not talking a Cherry Coke by Coca-Cola, but a real Cola with real cherry! It is a great flavor!

Yep, that just goes to show that we are all in fact different. I shoul've have pointed out that he was probably specifically telling me that I should stay away from those based on my tastes. BTW, where about in Michigan are you?

I figured you had talked to him and he steered you away due to your tastes. I just wanted to let others know that I do like them and what my favorite tobacco is just in case they, too, were curious. :)

I am about 10 minutes outside of the City of Flint. Far enough to not hear the gunshots but still too close!

I have read a good part of this thread, and have had a couple different members (El!!) highly recommend ahlusion. I have been looking at their site and besides the teas I am very much interested in I have found a couple more and wondered if any of u have tried them or know anything about them
Sasperilla, I am very interested in this one, haven't had a real drink with that in it for proli 10 years!! Anyone tried it?
Ricks request, this appears to be a rice pudding with cin and some raisins. I am very interested in this one as well because I adore kbvs maw, and have never found anything like it.

I also wonder if anyone has been lucky enough to get in on any of these 30% flash sales?

I am waiting for the new ciders to post, I crave a apple cider in the worst way!!

Hi Lethal! I keep eyeing Rick's Request, too, even though I keep telling myself "It's not for you. It'll be too bland. You don't "get" dessert vapes." etc. etc. :D

I think Ahlusion might just pull this particular rabbit out of the hat for me, because they are so incredible at what they do -- but I have a whole bunch of other juices in the "WANT" queue ahead of it!

Why don't you go ahead and order it, along with some Cranberry Autumn (tea), and let us know what you think? :)
