Already regretting not buying more LOL I thought I'd hold off on the "fall" stuff because it's still 100 freakin' degrees here but now everyone's going to be talking about their cider and caramel apples and pumpkin lattes and I'm feeling jealous before it even really gets started!

But you know fall IS coming, it's going to be under 100 today! Gotta plan ahead, remember the steeping curve is kinda long.

Okay, I force-steeped half of my 10 ml bottle of Boba Tea (which arrived on Tuesday -- I shook it up and left the cap off for two days) in a pint glass of hot water, and I will call it a success! I vaped the force-steeped sample and the unsteeped sample side by side (same atty and voltage). The difference was subtle, but important. They both tasted basically the same, but the unsteeped sample has a slightly synthetic aftertaste to it, whereas the force-steeped tastes clean, natural, and has a little more depth. The force-steeped sample is also a very slightly deeper yellow than the unsteeped sample. As this is my first bottle of Boba Tea, I can't really say if the force-steeped sample is completely steeped yet, but I am satisfied with the results and will continue to vape it. Different juices may provide different results, but this experiment suggests that this may be a worthwhile steeping method. I would encourage others to try it out and report back.

But.....but.....but.....if we can speed steep, we have no reason to WWWHHHIIINNNEEEE! I love a good whine

So, after spending hours reading this thread yesterday, I just had to place my first order with Ahlusion last night, especially since they were having a sale. Here's what I ordered: Boba Tea with Honeydew, Smooth Criminal and Serious Cider-all 18 mg. 50/50. For my free sample, I asked for Cranberry Autumn with Mint. I must be crazy. I already have two other juice vendors, Alice in Vapeland and Vape Dudes, that I really like. Ahlusions different flavors and good reviews got me though. Now the waiting begins....

Me too Jingles. I have been getting juice from Highbrow and Backwoods Brew, very happy with my choices but this thread just GOT me Plus after going to their website and reading all the links and seeing ALL their flavors....especially the new fall flavors, I put in 3 orders in the last 7 days! My break-even day WAS October 3rd. Have to recalculate now.....

LOL...true...I think i saw 99 for today. (all seriousness ) I felt the same way about ordering the fall flavors, it totally does not feel like fall (not like it every really does here)....but I grabbed the Cider anyway, figure it will be nice & steeped by the time I am ready to try it.

Hello everyone, got my Devil Dog and Blue grass burley yesterday, I cant wait to try them. I read that they should steep for about 48 hours, dont know if I can wait. I opened up the bottles so they can breathe. I shake them a couple times during the day. The aroma is amazing, smells just like real tobacco. So far the only other juices that have had that type of aroma are TPR tobaccos. Im so excited, I hope I can wait.

AVID, you are in luck because the steep is COMPLETELY optional and hardly (if at all) necessary with their Aromatic line!

Hiya Jingles! Good to see you again! You made some good choices there -- just be sure to let them all steep cap-off for about 48 hours before taste-testing (Smooth Criminal is a NON-aromatic tobacco, unlike DD and BGB . . .).

Mine came yesterday too and you reminded me that I hadn't taken the caps off yet. I'm glad I smelled BGB first cause I'm still realing from DD. 24mg, what was I thinking?

LOL! Hulamoon was kind enough to send my first sample of Devil Dog, but it was 24 mg. I normally vape 12. I tore into it and after about an hour I felt like I was having an out-of-body experience! Man, I love that stuff. Even if they only carried Devil Dog and Blue Grass Burley, I'd be a loyal customer for life!

Good news and bad news - good for my wallet - that a few of the 2nd batch I have tried..... while good are not my cup of tea (nope not any of tea ones Elenanor)- haha!

For example- lemon lime breeze. While I really like lemon lime in real life- I think I finally have to face the fact - I am not a huge lime vaper. I have that Lazarus from Rawr and it just sits there - something about lime does not suit my vaping needs. Makes me scratch my head actually- like do I not like this? Why - vape vape vape..... Maybe it is tasty- vape vape vape.....Maybe if I vape it more.... but nope- you guys have to now talk me off the ledge when I consider ordering lime-ish flavors. I knew if I wasnt head or heels for the Ahlusion "lime"- it wasnt going to happen for me - so that's it .... Im done
On the Happy note again -at least this is 1 flavor I do not desire in a big pretty blue bottle!

Or rig an 8 gallon tank up to an alpine horn powered by V-12 engine and take a few puffs of that....lol

Yeah! Same basic principal. Smaller volumes should steep faster than larger ones (as in your clearo) because it will absorb heat faster and more oxygen can react with it by volume.

I suppose for force-steeping larger volumes of liquid, one should use a proportionately larger volume of heated water because it will take longer to cool.

First impressions of Ahlusion...ala' nose...

Ok, first things first...best...packing...EVER. Shrinky wrap on those bottles...LOVE it! Ahlusion Tape on the Ahlusion baggie...perfect fit in bubble wrap envelope. Marvelous! Handwritten thank you with additional thank you for ordering Pink Label (supporting an excellent cause). Very thoughtful. Is there anything about this company that HASN'T won me over yet???

I have decided that I am not trying anything tonight. Took the caps off after a little shakey-shake love. They all smell absolutely delicious.

Sweet strawberry smells dead on essence of what Strawberry should be like.

Strawberry shortcake and Strawberry vanilla cake...it took everything in me not to lick the bottle. I wanted to LICK the bottle. It smells dead on..the cake is popping strong on both juices...I think I drooled...no seriously...the drool was forming.

Strawberry cream is lovely. Creamy Strawberry...it's a warm creamy fruity delight..my nose was in heaven.

Last...but perhaps my favorite sniffalicious out of the entire bunch...Pink Ribbon. O....M....G...I can't even describe this juice yet just how good it smells. I smell some strawberry...and there are other fruits in there, but I can't pinpoint it..maybe raspberry and even a hint of watermelon. I dunno..but I think I am in love with this juice..I see re-order in the very near future..alot of re-orders...I am seriously kicking myself for not ordering bigger bottles...but now that I know what the service is like from shop to home, I am confident and content.

I think Ahlusion just became my number one juice vendor.
