Ahlusion

Wow...you guys are making me seriously jones to try this!! A few questions.....I've noticed a few of the flavors ask if you want sweetener or not....what do you recommend on the flavors that one would associate with being sweet? ( like Tiramisu or Hot Sticky Buns for example)

Do you all have a preferred method for vaping these liquids? clearomizers? Carts? tanks? I have the Vapornine AMP XL ( LOVE IT!!!!), and two different eGo's...the twist and the eGo Variable Voltage Mega Adjustable ( the K-go?) And it seems I will need to let steep for at least 10-14 days...the wait will be killing me!!

Just another note ( and I dont add sweetener either).....go to their website and just shoot them a quick email of what your set up is through contact us - I 'd say off the bat if you use cartomizers- they will say 30vg/70pg is a good mix for those- clearos- they might suggest 50/50 - depending on your preference of how much taste vs vaper etc. BUT - they are truly very helpful vendors who want you to love your juice- so tell them a little about yourself and it will pay off for your vaping experience

***I hate to add to their emails with all they have going on - but I feel they would want you to do that! Cheers!

Pink Label was also one that Wlad highly suggested to me as well...so I was really looking forard to try it to begin with, but now after seeing some of these reviews on it..I am BEYOND excited to check this one out. 24 hours down, 24 hours to go on the initial cap off steep...tic toc.

I've been vaping some of the Ole! that I have...and although I can't taste much with this cold I ended up with, I still definitely taste Sangria! The only problem I am having is that I can't vape as much as normal cuz of the cold/sore throat, and I really want to vape the crap out of this stuff!! LOL

This may be silly, but do you have any juices from Ahlusion with "Breeze?" I bet a mentholated juice may work, it may even work wonders.

I just had an idea, what about an Ahlusion juice called Hot Toddy? That would be sweet, especially for us ganders in the depth of the approaching season...Winter is coming! (G.O.T lovers get it )

Hi Cappy, What flavors do you tend to go for? I can well understand the problems of finding a juice that I like - and particularly as vaping can be a super drain on the finances in the early stages. But I did actually manage to do it with the help of other folks and targeting what I understood to be "the best". Admittedly some were still misses, but I've so far found 4-5 Hits! It might not sound like much, but now I have NiteliteVapor, Heathers Heavenly Vapes and Want2Vape bottles I haven't (OK don't faint guys) even TRIED yet because I keep refilling my clearo every time I get low on the 4-5 and re-vaping them over and over again. I saw a thread earlier about "would you pay more to buy a pre-steeped juice?" and my immediate thought was "I have so many right now, they're all super steeped by the time I get to them!" I can't really speak for Ahlusion, but if we can all suggest something that strikes a chord, then just go ahead and order a small size. And welcome to the thread!

Though my original comments may have come across abrasive, I really didn't mean it as a slight to the company. They are quite high on my "to try" list of ejuice vendors, mainly thanks to Mr. Mann and community, and the discussions about them. I suppose more than anything I was dissapointed that I didn't get to try them this time around for my ejuice. With the whole NLV thing (I thought I wanted to try them for a short while, but that desire has waned), I just don't want to get stuck with an ejuice vendor that becomes my mainstay, but I can't manage to get juice out of them, or have to go well out of my way to do it.

I will take your word for it that this is a temporary situation for Ahlusion, and when things get back to normal for them I'm confident they'll get an order from me in the future.

I can definitely relate to what you're saying. I tend to shy away from vendors that require me to work too hard to get their product, or who might not be able to provide me with it consistently. I'd say Ahlusion is worth a shot. Like any vendor it might end up being your thing or it might not, but you did happen to catch them at a little bit of an in-between time. Bad timing, I guess. I can almost guarantee that you'll never have to wait for special announcements or insider information, or set an alarm clock on the day that a batch is released to get an order in, under normal circumstances. They seem to take customers pretty seriously. I'd give them a few days to a week to get up and running 100%.

That's actually a pretty good idea! I have one with breeze...melon-berry frost, which is still steeping. Although that was one of the juices that someone said was good out of the mail, and only got better, so maybe I can cheat a bit and try some of that one.

It's such a tough spot to be in...because I don't want to waste any of these awesome juices while I can't taste anything, but at the same time I'm thinking..who cares that they still need to steep, I may as well start trying some of them now since my tastes aren't really there anyway! LOL (lots of mixed logic going on with me right now )

Hula - so funny you said that too...that's been one of the other rationales I have had....thought it might be a good time to get rid of some of the "meh" juices (because i have PLENTY of those!) I don't think I have had enough colds in my 31 years on this planet to get through all of my "meh" juices.

I do like having some that are less sweet as well, to change out as the mood strikes.

I find it fascinating that so many folks with so many different taste preferences (just as demonstrated by the participants in this thread) are all in agreement about the quality of this vendor. They really have something for almost everyone to appreciate and enjoy.

Oh yeah, I asked for a sample of that Strawberry Vanilla Cake (extra strawberries, natch) thanks to y'all!

Yeah, I'm with Hula on this one. Cappy, I just reread your posts from the other day, and it's clear that there was a miscommunication at some point between you and Wlad (typo, poor choice of words, someone caught at a bad moment, etc.), and then here on this thread with us. I think most of us were in a state of shock because we've gotten gold-star treatment from Ahlusion. At either rate, sorry for the misunderstanding.

I doubt you were turned away for your equipment, as you're using pretty nice stuff and I'm sure they have plenty of customers that are using carto tanks. There's probably enough collective experience here on this thread to give you some flavor suggestions, if you're still interested in giving Ahlusion a try. Let us know if we can help!

This is probably the worst advice you'll ever receive and I urge you not to follow it, but I was sick with the flu a couple of weeks ago. The only thing that would help my poor sore throat was a juice that I have from a local vendor that contains diacetyl. That creamy, deathy goodness sure felt good!

But yeah, minty breeze is probably a better way to go!

CM, when I was in the throes of buying juice incessantly and reporting on what I thought were good buys and not, I learned that a few people were actually reading and taking my word as bond. I have slowed down considerably and have no intention on trying to keep up with billherbst's juice buying or his wealth of insight into this hobby/addiction of trying juice (as if I could). However, it is nice to be on the receiving end of someone else's advice -- and let me tell you, you have seriously convinced me on things to try that I would have never considered. Thanks, and Pink Label it is.

Aww shucks Mr. Mann... I appreciate that. Let me tell you, I NEVER in a million years thought Pink Label Juice would be more than a passing fancy. I went into Ahlusion with a strawberry mission and that was that. I can't explain to you why this juice has formed such an attachment with me. Mr. Wlad kindly gave me a little more information via email on the juice

"Our Pink Label juice is a natural and harmonious blend of our Strawberry and Blueberry flavors mixed with a melon note. As such you will not just taste Strawberry or Blueberry but a nice blend of the two."

The crazy thing is..I have never vaped this and said "there's some strawberry and that's a blueberry". I reviewed this earlier on this thread calling it the love child of a cherry and a watermelon now n later. My other strawberry juices that were my main reason for ordering in the first place just kept on steeping because I was silly happy with that little 10ml bottle of fruity perfection (by my standards, anyway). My almost childlike excitement over it might even seem a little silly, but after searching and searching and STILL not finding what I am looking for..then BOOM...there it is..accidentally landing in my vapemail on the advice of the vendor. I vape it with a sigh of relief.

Mr. Mann I hope you enjoy this juice, even if it's just a passing fancy to see what the heck the crazy Cinnamonkey is gushing about. I hope this juice reaches out to your vapebuds and says "hi..I'm delicious, nice to meet you".

Crazy monkey alert (again). I totally get what you are saying there and can completely agree. Not long ago, I had a mainstay vendor that does make some very good juice, but unfortunately, there were times it would take a bit to get my order processed. I'm talking over a week..sometimes more..occasionally less if I was lucky. Add that to paying on the high scale of the ejuice lines, and I started to feel like I was getting somewhat shortchanged with it. So my response was probably just as abrasive...and for that I apologize.

It really does suck eviscerated skunk nadz that when we do get burned on a vendor/company it makes us more hesitant to try a possible success; bit after reading your post, I understand what you are saying, and hope that in the future, if you have a chance, is give them a try. I really do wish you all the best, regardless.

So you're telling me the steeping didn't start til I pulled the caps off and smelled them all? And here I thought they were born on 9/30 and took a few days to get here and I was well on my way!

I ordered two for my mom, which were cherry cola (she loves cola vapes) and Coco-Bana. I would never have ordered Coco-Bana on my own. Banana vapes and I have a love hate relationship. Meaning I have had some really bad ones so I am afraid to try new ones type deal...Anyhoo I find out she ignored or maybe didn't "hear" me tell her to steep them. Upon my visit today she handed me her PV with a big ole grin on her face.

So Coco-Bana, turns out, is pretty darn good. The banana is realistic and light and the coconut is like, a creamy coconut...however there is something else going on in there. It is smooooooth. I think I got taken back to a time I had a cocktail much like this. I really liked it! It surprised me, and am glad it wasn't overpowering candy banana.

The cherry cola needs to steep a bit. It is a good cherry though for sure, I think the flavors need more melding...

Mine are still steeping looking at me and taunting me from the shelf. haha.

I knpw this is going to sound silly, but when you have a cold/sore throat...a nice minty vape can be soothing and tasty. I tend to enjoy them more than other flavors (even my favorite ones) when my allergies kick a fuss, or I'm stuffy with a head cold. It also can really soothe a sore throat. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

I asked for sweetener on the Sleighride..I figured it will make it a sweet candy cane vape. Usually I just leave well enough alone (except adding extra strawberries..which is a MUST!!!), but I did do breeze on the Luna Fortuna. Breeze is mint...not menthol....right??

The cherry cola needs that steeping time for sure. When it's fresh, you can taste the disparate elements like caramel, anise, cherry, and spices. When they meld together, it's just glorious!

Someday I'm gonna ask them if they'll make me a cherry-vanilla cola. I used to get those at a diner with fountain sodas, and loved them so much.

Our Mint and Menthol Options: Breeze (light mint), Flurries (stronger mint), Chill (light menthol), Frost (stronger menthol), Arctic Blast (super strong menthol - NEVER RECOMMENDED!)
