Hey all,
I have stumbled upon a steep evaluation methodology that is really working for me.

It all started when the better half rejected the superior vaping technology that is the 510 big batt and accessories. She loves her slim, elegant volts and asked if I might find her something better than the cartridge delivery system that is long, stilleto-ish and invokes the cigarette holder look of Cruella DeVille. She has a drama company and can never look too elegantly stylish.

In my quest, I happened on the new Volt Nanomizer. The diameter of the normal batt, good looking and sufficiently long to provide the look she sought. Today, I tried them. They're amazing. Long, thin, clear, bottom feeding cartomizers. What really struck me was the purity of flavor. Far better than even the HH .357's I recently obtained. Seriously. And the vapor production beats the original volt carts significantly.

Then it occurred to me. In the words of King Julian, I have devised a cunning test. I bought many, so I decided to sample my steeping juices. PERFECT. A true nuanced review of the evolution of the juice at it's current point in time. As they only hold about 1ml they're perfect for taking a couple toots at a time. So once I fill them with a particular juice, I attach them to the bottle of that juice with a rubberband and I can come and revisit that juice every few days, simply by screwing on a little 808 batt without removing it from the bottle.

Since I devised this so that I could review Ahlusions steeping juices in small efficient amounts, I have decided to name this system in honor of Wlad (Hi Wlad) and so I have given it the name "Steep Evaluation Method, Portion Efficient Review For Information". I know that's kinda long, so maybe it needs an acronym. Any ideas?

...and to give update you on some news that has me in total panic mode! So my Ahlusion order tracking shows it was delivered yesterday, but my dog sitter said nothing was there! I am freaking out!!

Oh crap, Daniele! I feel your frustration! No doubt it will show up today . . . USPS tracking is notoriously inaccurate.

I am new to vaping, going on 3 wks or so and newish to this board. Because of this thread and others on ECF, I decided to order from Ahlusions. In my mailbox today, should be:

Cranberry Autumn

Ahlusion's Tiramisu (which was a free sample! Awesome customer service)

I thought I was really going to let him have it with Rick's Request, but lo and behold, I am really liking it. Not so much at first, but the darn steeping did the trick again. No, pandering here, just calling like I see it.

How long did you end up having to steep that puppy for? Granted, mines only been five days or so but it still smells like rosewater. Should I just hide it until Thanksgiving or so?

I am new to vaping, going on 3 wks or so and newish to this board. Because of this thread and others on ECF, I decided to order from Ahlusions. In my mailbox today, should be:

Car-Mal Mambo
Cranberry Autumn
Sleighride
Ahlusion's Tiramisu (which was a free sample! Awesome customer service)

I cant wait to try them! Waiting for the steep will be hard work.

Anyone have any opinions on these flavors?

Mambo is amazing, and I don't have much of a sweet-tooth. I find it truly finds it's flavor after a 48 hour cap-off steep, and then about 3 days capped. It's a very in-your-face caramel without being too sweet. I tend to get a bit silly with my descriptions, but it is a very "meaty" caramel with a bit of a bite. Not meaty in the sense of tasting like meat (veggie here), but very substantial in a way that your whole mouth somehow tastes it. I've found this with a lot of Ahlusion's juices. Some other vendors you get a very noticeable "tongue-hit" on the sweet side. Ahlusion's juices somehow attach my whole mouth.

So, uh, yeah. Good.

Wlad or Alley wrote on my last receipt: "Glad you are enjoying Car-Mal Mamo" with a nice smiley face. I'm going to have to send them an email back telling them I didn't have a choice - it won't stop attacking my mouth.

It's great that it's a caramel that attacks the mouth...Exactly what I'm looking for; the zombies of caramel, if you will. I just want to make sure before I pull the trigger I'm getting a real caramel and not a Cracker-Jack synthetic tasting caramel.

First off...wow....they do a great job packing!! my bottles were each wrapped in sealed bubble wrap...the tops were all sealed, placed in a plastic bag and boxed in peanuts....very nice. The Blue glass bottles are a nice touch as is the separate eye droppers.

Off the bat they smell pretty good.....not as strong without steeping as my Dark City Vapor juices...but still smell good!.....I have the Strawberry vanilla cake batter, tiramisu, and smooth criminal.......I could not resist.....I loaded a carto with tiramisu, loaded on my eGo twist and vaping away....

right now...flavors are mild, but present...good throat hit and TONS of vapor....Im not gonna touch again for at least two weeks....tops are off and bottles are steeping.......dying to try the other two!

I HATE Cracker-Jacks if that means anything - all I can taste is burned sugar. This has more of a "bite" than something super-creamy, but I don't have much experience with caramel vapes. Mambo did force me to retire my bottle of Backwoods Brew Malty Toffee, which everyone loves. It's not that I don't like it anymore, but when I look at the two bottles, I instinctively go for Mambo.

If you want a real zombie caramel, definitely pick up some Caramel Pear Black Tea. I posted this earlier, but my mouth literally salivates every time I take a puff.

My favorite Ahlusion juice by far is Boba Tea (plain). Anyone know if they have a caramel option to add? If so, you might want to give that a try as the Boba Tea base is to die for and come back as a Zombie.

Yep, I'm surprised that nobody has made a big deal out of the way they cap the bottles, and include the droppers seperately. On every occasion that I've purchased elsewhere (PAST tense), I either received the bottles with the droppers already in them, which is a PAIN IN THE AS$ when you have to shake them, remove the droppers and figure out how to set them aside without confusing them between different bottles, the mess, etc. OR I've received capped bottles WITHOUT droppers, just some cheap cheesy BPA laced squeeze dripper that I'm supposed to wash every time I want to get some juice? It really is those little things...

Moueix, I don't think we've directly talked in this thread, but I just wanted to let you know I always enjoy your posts. You seem like a solid dude (not like Mann or Tex - something wrong there).

I tried the first-gen Nano, and it didn't perform well at all. Do you know if there is a newer version you got? I still like to use my cig-a-like once in a while.

I just got an email from Ahlusion that my order is on hold due to their move! Arghh! Wlad offered to keep it on hold or refund my money-good customer service, but what to do? What to do? I guess I need to email him and ask how long they anticipate that it will be "on hold". If it's going to be a week or less, I can probably deal with that, but I wouldn't want them to have my money for a month, before I get my juice! (My order was placed on Sunday, October 14th).

I got the same email. More than likely it's just a few days...if that. I have waiting longer with other vendors..a few days won't kill me. I appreciate the continual updates letting me know what's going on. I know I am not forgotten and my juice will get here. Thankfully I have enough Pink Label..but the BVC may have to be rationed out a little...oh wait..I have other juices I haven't tried yet...and a
ml of SVC to tide me over!! It'll be ok. I am pretty certain you will not be waiting a month. If they honestly thought it would be that long...there would problably be no option to keep the order..just a sincere apology and a refund.

Hi Ax, I'm nothing if not thorough, and I read up on everything said about those nano's before I ordered. First, the ones selling now are a 2nd version produced to alleviate the problems encountered with the first. Second, Volts juices are predomininantly PG, and I think it has a lot to do with the leaking problems. I would suspect that since the purchasers are Volt-centric, that they are mostly using those high PG juices, where I prefer mine 50/50, thus thicker.

I applied Occam's Razor to the litany of problems and from the first cartridge, I used the 50/50's, filled them quickly, and screwed the caps on VERY tightly while holding as close as possible to the ends to prevent cracking. It seemed that any chance of air flow through the fluid portion of the cart was the likely culprit. Out of 10 so far, I don't have a single leaker and they're performing flawlessly. Too early to recommend them outright, but I will update if I encounter any of the problems reported.

I appreciate your sentiment, but I've got more serious faults than San Andreas. Tez and Mann are Men Of The Year compared to this scoundrel.

Blueberry Vanilla Cake isn't actually on their line up right now. I asked (whined, whimpered, begged, pleaded) for a Blueberry bakery vape to go with my morning coffee and he kindly sent me a sample of BVC. It is absolutely beautiful. I think they are going to be putting it up on the site when everything calms down. It's fresh blueberries and they aren't too sweet, but not too tart...perfect ripe blueberries and a heavenly vanilla poundcake thats not to rich but not too light...it's perfect for my early morning vaping routine. I absolutely ADORE it!!!

The same thing happened with my order that was placed on the same day. I emailed Wlad to keep the order on hold. I empathize with the struggles of small businesses. Besides, the juices are worth the wait.
