Hi Ax, I'm nothing if not thorough, and I read up on everything said about those nano's before I ordered. First, the ones selling now are a 2nd version produced to alleviate the problems encountered with the first. Second, Volts juices are predomininantly PG, and I think it has a lot to do with the leaking problems. I would suspect that since the purchasers are Volt-centric, that they are mostly using those high PG juices, where I prefer mine 50/50, thus thicker.

I applied Occam's Razor to the litany of problems and from the first cartridge, I used the 50/50's, filled them quickly, and screwed the caps on VERY tightly. It seemed that any chance of air flow through the fluid portion of the cart was the likely culprit. Out of 10 so far, I don't have a single leaker and they're performing flawlessly. Too early to recommend them outright, but I will update if I encounter any of the problems reported.

I appreciate your sentiment, but I've got more serious faults than San Andreas. Tez and Mann are Men Of The Year compared to this scoundrel.

Blueberry Vanilla Cake isn't actually on their line up right now. I asked (whined, whimpered, begged, pleaded) for a Blueberry bakery vape to go with my morning coffee and he kindly sent me a sample of BVC.

Heck yes! I can't wait until I'm Jefe enough to get my own custom flavors! Should that day come, I'm going to ask for Maple Cream Cookie! You know those ones that look like a maple leafs and have the maple cream inside? Gawd, those are my all time favorite cookie in the world. I hope they put the BVC on the menu, it sounds delish.

So here's a question. What kind of caramel is it? I'm kind of tired of getting "Cracker-Jack" caramel. I want a real creamy caramel; something I would buy at an apple orchard.

It's great that it's a caramel that attacks the mouth...Exactly what I'm looking for; the zombies of caramel, if you will. I just want to make sure before I pull the trigger I'm getting a real caramel and not a Cracker-Jack synthetic tasting caramel.

I have not tried Car-Mal Mambo, but I have tried a few different selections that had a caramel component, and if they aren't the same they are at least related. So while this may not apply to Mambo, I've found that on the juices I've tried, think more dulce de leche than Milkmaid caramels.

My mom used to make this renowned cake, and for the icing, she'd cook a can of sweetened condensed milk in a pressure cooker (note: this can be dangerous, don't try this at home), then mix it up with confectioner's sugar. After she iced the cake, she'd leave it sitting out for a while so that the caramel would harden. The result was this ambrosia-like substance that had a dryish consistency, a rich cooked-sugar taste, and a deep sweetness without the candy-like taste you'd get when you think of a caramel ice cream topping, for instance. It had a milky flavor, but it wasn't what I think of as "creamy".
tl;dr: Ahlusion's caramel notes remind me very much of my mom's homemade caramel cake, only less sweet. It's really wonderful.

My favorite Ahlusion juice by far is Boba Tea (plain). Anyone know if they have a caramel option to add?

Indeed they do, and I've been waffling over that or coconut next. I think I've settled on coconut, but I would love to hear thoughts on Boba Tea w Caramel when/if anyone else tries it.

Btw, if you'd like to see what options are available on a juice while the shop is closed, just add it to your wishlist!

I think they are going to be putting it up on the site when everything calms down. It's fresh blueberries and they aren't too sweet, but not too tart...perfect ripe blueberries and a heavenly vanilla poundcake thats not to rich but not too light...it's perfect for my early morning vaping routine. I absolutely ADORE it!!!

God we are a difficult bunch, aren't we? "Waah! I want Thai Iced Tea!" "Waah, I want Blueberry Cake!" They are so kind and accommodating!

You know what I wish I hadn't missed...at one time, Ahlusion had this interesting flavor on their line up called Blue Nana Nilla Pie. I would give my left leg to have been able to try that. I hope they bring it back. I'm not going to whimper over it like I did the BVC...I will wait patiently...but if it ever makes it back to the Ahlusion site, I am going to be on it like butter on mashed taters. I am kicking myself for not jumping head first on that juice when I first saw it.

I think it would be fun if they had a monthly contest. We could vote on a flavor that had once made the cut and had since been removed. The winning flavor after 3 weeks would get to come back for the next month only. Each month we could try something new and it would (maybe) show them juices they should bring on a more permanent basis.

The only drawback would be that I don't know if there are enough removed favors to make this contest feasible.

Moueix, I don't think we've directly talked in this thread, but I just wanted to let you know I always enjoy your posts. You seem like a solid dude (not like Mann or Tex - something wrong there).

I tried the first-gen Nano, and it didn't perform well at all. Do you know if there is a newer version you got? I still like to use my cig-a-like once in a while.

I actually want to get another Volt just to have around for those times when a big batt is too much of a conversation starter.

Yep, I'm surprised that nobody has made a big deal out of the way they cap the bottles, and include the droppers seperately. On every occasion that I've purchased elsewhere (PAST tense), I either received the bottles with the droppers already in them, which is a PAIN IN THE AS$ when you have to shake them, remove the droppers and figure out how to set them aside without confusing them between different bottles, the mess, etc. OR I've received capped bottles WITHOUT droppers, just some cheap cheesy BPA laced squeeze dripper that I'm supposed to wash every time I want to get some juice? It really is those little things...

Vermillion does a similar (not quite as good) job with the separate droppers.

Trust me, I'm just WAITING for him to screw up so I can bust his chops and keep his feet on the ground. All this praise is going to go to his head if we're not careful.

I agree. If he isn't careful, he will end up not knowing the benefits of outraged customers.

I love that this is not a secret! I think we're all a pretty cool bunch of people. I know with some vendors threads, if there was ever a time when someone got something that was "special," that would cause an avalanche of "what about me(s)!"
