I did a 48 hour cap-off then 3-4 day cap on steep of a 30 ml bottle of Carmel Pear Black Tea which brought it not only to vapable, but to OMG MOUTHSPLOSION OF HAPPINESS. I know it's only going to get better as it ages!

Very excited for this one i can already smell a hint of glory in there, thanks for confirming it was a creeper

I'm personally becoming disillusioned (disahlusioned?) with the mythical qualities of an atty. I've had some tremendous hits from them, but their inconsistency is becoming the bane of my vape experience. I personally find the first half tank of a Vivi to be more reliable but then they go to hell on me. I've taken the plunge and am awaiting a Caravela and high end rba and if that doesn't solve it, I'm going back to Volts with their little Nanomizers. I tried putting Ahlusions Tiramisu in a regular blank volt cartridge, and it stripped so much character it just tasted like chocolate coffee. I don't know the answer, I can only tell you the road I've traveled and which potholes you might avoid.

Not all attys are equal, and shoot, not all attys made from the same company are equal. When you find out the best approach, it is worth it. However, all of this stuff can be maddening! So many trade offs for separate set-ups. For me, I like the stiffer draw of attys, the stronger more dense hit, and the throat hit is proper. I have tried what most consider the best of attys, ViVi(s), cartos, Ce(#)s, Genesis or whatever, but I still have my attys that beat them all (IMO). It really all comes down to that unknown element of how your best vape is for you (even if you don't know what it is).

So I don't post half as much as many of you but I'm Josh. Been on and off ecf since almost the beginning but I mostly pop in, make a smartass comment or two, and then wander off. I've probably posted more on this thread than I have on all other threads combined though.

Huge vote of confidence!

Are you kidding? Mr. Mann is a fabulous name. For a man, of course.

Some of us just call him Mr. for short or drop the Mr. and substitute THE for the first name.

When you say sampler, what exactly do you mean? Unless you are talking about the Xpress line, the bottles were all made on cue, not waiting around to be ordered. All steep times should roughly be the same, although I find smaller bottles steep quicker. I also think plastic small bottles are even better than glass -- I think it is about air.

p.s. If at first (meaning after the first 48 hrs) it isn't good, wait a week, and so on. Be in it for the long haul.

I asked for a 10ml Melon-Berry Frost, i expect at 48 it will be very mature the smell is phenomenal on this one.

ah yeah ive had the same experience with my vivi nova. after the first half of the tank is gone, things go south. I've only been vaping for about 3 months so im still trying to find my ideal setup, juices (thank you Ahlusion) etc and spending plenty of money in the process. It's like just when I think I find something that will provide vaping awesomeness, I hear about something else and go on the chase. i.e. only if i had this tank, or this carto, or this pv, etc etc. its freaking maddening.

I think I have a disease...on the neverending quest for the perfect vape. never satisfied! vaping has rapidly become both a blessing and a curse.

I'm finding the CPBT a strange bird. It's the black tea. Depending on the time of day, my mood, and probably most importantly my level of hydration, it is either a furious bite in the jowls or a smooooth operator with a little spicy character. I pick it up, ambivalently, and either toss it down with disgust or cradle it to my breast. I can't deny the diminishing level in the bottle though, which always surprises me when I go to refill. Truly a love/hate relationship.

SUCCINCTLY put. The key is to remember that EVERY day that you battle whether you love it or hate it, is a day farther away from the last sulphurous ignition of The Devil You Know.

Honestly, I think 48 hrs is great to give a taste test, but I am of the firm belief that 2 weeks minimum is needed to reach anything close to maturity. I don't know how many long term steeps we have since I don't think the bottles ever last that long. My SC was about 2 months old and IMO it was supa dupa fantastically many times better.

Maybe it's not you, but rather the Carmel Pear Black Tea itself is just fussy. I just loaded up my squonker with Boba Tea, but I'm going to have to swap it out with all of this CPBT talk! I'll let you know if it punches me in the face or tries to make out with me.

So here's a question. What kind of caramel is it? I'm kind of tired of getting "Cracker-Jack" caramel. I want a real creamy caramel; something I would buy at an apple orchard.

It's great that it's a caramel that attacks the mouth...Exactly what I'm looking for; the zombies of caramel, if you will. I just want to make sure before I pull the trigger I'm getting a real caramel and not a Cracker-Jack synthetic tasting caramel.

If you like caramel and tobacco, can't go wrong with the house blend. Very strong carmel when young, as it ages the tob comes in.

Hi all! Happy almost Friday :)

I am new to vaping, going on 3 wks or so and newish to this board. Because of this thread and others on ECF, I decided to order from Ahlusions. In my mailbox today, should be:

Car-Mal Mambo
Cranberry Autumn
Sleighride
Ahlusion's Tiramisu (which was a free sample! Awesome customer service)

I cant wait to try them! Waiting for the steep will be hard work. :)

Anyone have any opinions on these flavors?

Thanks!

Sleighride is my current favorite indugence, pure fresh candy store candy cane. Clean mint, not menthol or medicine flavored.

I am not being sarcastic when I say this, but Wlad is truly a flavor specialist! Not just with ejuice either. How about some flavor suggestions? I currently have one: Blueberry Vanilla Cake!

I am not sure what to call him, master chef, supreme chemist, flavor engineer, master flavor Ahlusionist.....

Pray, do tell! I'm feeling a little P.T. Barnum is chuckling from beyond at my .357's.

I normally don't like to talk about hardware cause it is IMO more individual than juice, and it also can cause strange reactions for users of the dissed tools. Do you not like the 357s? I won't completely go into my thoughts on those, but I will say that for the money, I'd rather buy a Volt battery. (I have strong opinions on those HHs that ain't all that positive.) Also, I have a hard time suggesting hardware cause I never really can tell how they will perform for the user. With juice, I know that someone will be getting exactly what I have had, whether it is liked is irrelevant. But with attys and such, I have been burned on (I want to curse) super over exaggerated hype that lead to more wasted money than a little bit. I am always afraid to add to that. And more importantly, the stuff has not worked many times (at least in the way that it was touted). Seriously, who really wants to "mod" something that is supposed to work from jump street? I get tired or verssion 3.5 of something that was sold as the bomb on version one! It seems like so much of it is fact made by Phineas Taylor Barnum.

I, along with Vapenstein (name dropping), prefer Joye attys over all the rest including but not limited to: Cisco Spec, HH.357s, IKVs, RBA, Genesis, Cartos (Boge, Kanger, Smoketek), any of the ViVi(s), CEs and so on. I have, however, had tremendous luck with Empire mod attys, whether their LR 510s or their premium 901s or 306s. Aside from longevity, they (EM attys) are work horses out of the box, and they are super affordable (they're all about 6 or 7 bucks). Em attys have great, great flavor, super dense vapor and okay th. I actually don't mind the Aero (Cisco Spec) 510s for their vapor output and th, but flavor is about a 5-6 out of 10. Joyes will always be my go to, but I can not confidently recommend them because out of maybe 12 -15 I have bought, more were duds than not. Of course everywhere I buy them from will replace them, but that starts to get annoying if you get a dud replaced with a dud -- you end up saying screw it! Put a proper working Joye next to a Zenesis and I will be overjoyed with the Joye. Joyes (when working proper) are IMO the best for density of flavor, vapor output, real th (I don't consider genesis th "real" th).

Okay, I hope I have not started something, but I wanted to answer without evading like I do sometimes.

p.s. Wlad sales some decent 901s that also work right out of the box.

p.s.2 I have had all that I mentioned in this post and got everything working properly, so I am basing all my judgements on working hardware.

YES!!! I had to take a break from ECF to go watch the game (no cable where I live, too many trees for satellite) and GO TIGERS!!!! Cecil Cubed flailing his arms like Papa Smurf hailing a cab in a thunderstorm to catch the FINAL OUT!! YANKEE SWEEP!! SaaaaaaWWWWEEEEET!!

I just thought spring training tickets were hard to get last year. By the way, I am Jim and I live about 20 minutes from the Tiger's spring domicile. Go Tigers!

Mmmmm... Baklava! You might be onto something there Biz!

Might try the Pralines and Cream, pretty close if my Bakalava memory is there. Only thing missing is the fillo dough.

DOH! I purchased some SLB Riva kits a month or so ago, and they included a couple of atty's that had a 3/16" or so brass band at the bottom. Liked the looks of them, but most importantly, they tasted fabulous each and every vape. I ended up giving away both of them on the batts I had them on with cones and tips to friends, and EVERY darn replacement atty I have tried has been variable. I still like dripping at times, much like a pipe smoker enjoys the tamping and fiddling, when I have time for it so I'm not tossing in the towel yet. THANK you for sharing your experience with me, I'm keeping hope that I'll find something like that again. I'll try the Joye and not hold your reputation at stake for it, because I understand your logic well. I just hope my friends are TRULY enjoying those two lucky atty's. They are still using them, no wonder.

Hi everyone! :) I can't believe I just found this thread a couple of days ago...I have been soley vaping Ahlusion's juices since last February & I just love Wlad & Alley!! . . . By the way, my name is Sandy & it's been great reading all of your posts the last few days! :)

Tyler/Sandy!! So great to see you again! :)

Well . . . CPBT always treats me just fine. You might want to think of it as the Marlene Dietrich of e-juices. :D

Thanks! It was hard for me to type that cause we are all so passionate about our respective tools. I do not mean to say that all that other stuff sucks, but in my experience, none of what I mentioned was worth the money, none of it! I can safely suggest EM attys without hesitiation, but if I had my druthers, I'd have a box full of working Joyes!

p.s. EM attys require ZERO break-in and carry no primer. They are not as long lived as my long lived Joyes, but you can't beat out-of-the-box perfomance. Also, I don't know how you feel about the spitty overpriced attys (cougH cougH), but that is one of my absolute biggest pet peeves. The EM attys are bridgefree BTW without spit. Keith is a good guy, and always responds to emails quickly...although he tends to have that email response issue that Tez mentioned. LOL
