Vecchio Blend might be another good choice for you, K*Rose. I just tried it today, and it needs a little more steeping, but I can tell it's going to be a good one. It's a vanilla tobacco, and you have the option to get it with strong tobacco, or normal (which isn't very strong apparently). Guess which one I ordered? :D
I am a big fan of vanilla. Is it a sweet tobacco?

It doesn't taste especially sweet to me, but someone who has spent a little more time with it than I have could probably better inform you. You could probably email Wlad and ask for it as sweet as you like it.

Yeah, it is, but not overly sweet in the way it may seem. It is very vanilla bean-ish. I actually think SC is more of a vanilla tobacco that suits my needs, but Vecchio is more of an upfront, no questions about it, real vanilla. I really don't know if SC is a vanilla tobacco or not, but whatever it is, it is good!

Busted open my Blue Grass Burley today. It's very, very impressive -- in my experience, the closest approximation to real tobacco flavor in any e-juice I've tried. The more I've vaped, the more I've been leaning towards fruit flavors because the majority of the tobacco flavors I've tried tasted nothing like tobacco. BGB reminds me of a high-quality cigarette -- something I'd taste at the Nat Sherman store on 5th Avenue.

I'll be posting a video review of this and a few other Ahlusion juices in a few weeks.

I had my last few weeks of school to finish up so I haven't been around this thread jumps well over a hundred pages!! I didn't even try to catch back up. I just wanted to drop in and say hi and to let guys know that I might not be posting in here any more in regards to Ahlusion. They, as you all know are opening a store, and they have jobs posted that I had emailed Wlad about. Now with the store getting closer, I have interviewed with them. As of now I will be working for them in their IT dept. I only say as of now because there are final details etc to be worked out before it is a 100% thing.

In the meantime, I wanted to share that I tried Kona Kick, Caramel Coffee and Dutch Chocolate Mint.

All three of these steeped for about a week before I got to them and all 3 were delicious. I am horrible with reviews and making them all sound as wonderful as some of you can. The name of the flavor is exactly what they taste like. I got Kona Kick with the chocolate "add-in" and that is the only thing I would change. The Kona is awesome but I think the chocolate part takes away from it. Next time I will try it without. The Caramel Coffee is awesome, if you like the two you will love this. Not much more I can say. The Dutch Choc Mint, first I love all things that are mint/chocolate mixed. But I am not a big fan of mint vapes. Vaping mint always reminds me of menthol cigs for some reason. However my love of all choc/mint convinced me to try this anyway. It is perfect, the mint is definitely mint but does not give me that gross it it's menthol thought. I definitely recommend all three of these if any of them are in your line of likes.

Congratulations! That's aweome!! I have Kona Kick on my present order, and also love Caramel Coffee - wasn't a big fan of Dutch Choc Mint - liked the Peppermint Mocha much better.

Ah, another soul reaches Nirvana! Have you tried Devil Dog? It's a shade darker, but you might like it. I've spent a lot of time trying to decide which one I like better, but I've decided to just call it a draw. Let us know when you post that review -- looking forward to seeing it!

I have bottles of Devil Dog and Poppin' Peach that I haven't opened yet. All three will be in the review.

Good wee early (evil) Monday morning everyone.

Anski..you lucky lil stinker...your posts are awesome, but the fact that you might actually be working at THE hotspot of Michigan; I gotta agree with Mr. Mann, I am super happy and excited for you, but I am sooooooooooo steenking jealous, I can't STAND it!! ;)

All is quiet on the Ahlusion menu cuts page...oh yes..I am still watching it like a hawk (or circling it like a buzzard...I will let you decide).

This evening, while all is quiet, I want to take a moment to say this one little thing. You guys know the emails you get about 10-14 days after your order? "Tell us what you think."? I am pretty sure you do. Most of you, anyway. That is a feedback email and more than likely, you are NOT going to get a response back whether you love the juice or absolutely detest it and want to be polite and give some constructive criticism. It's a way they can gather data and information from each and everyone of us so they can tweak liquids where needed or look for potential issues. That's it. You are NOT going to automatically get an email back unless you are posting something dynamic that needs to be investigated further, and what's more, you shouldn't expect it.

If you REALLY have and issue or question regarding Ahlusion and their products; here's a little tip...EMAIL them. Open an actual ticket on that "contact us" page and take some innitiative and COMMUNICATE. It works for me everytime and I have yet to have Wlad or anyone on his team not respond, or feed me bullcrap and tell me it's icecream. I have asked straight forward questions and I have gotten straight forward answers. They only know as much as you let them know, because while they ARE fantastic before, during, and AFTER you purchase, they are still human beings; not ESP gifted aliens from a flippin different planet. Your purchases will NOT come with a hand held mani-pedi and since you are required by law to be 18 to purchase vaping products and merchandise, that means that you are all adults, and do need to make sure to maintain your own end of communication and take your own responsibilities for pending issues.

Ok...now that I have gotten that off my chest...how 'bout that Canyon Sun that I am awaiting?? Heavy on the cranberries... I have never actually had a cranberry to vape, but I am definitely interested to see what this one is about. If it turns out well, I may turn my sights to Cranberry Autumn Tea, but I will have to get more info and track down the review from Eleanor.

I truly hope all of you have a wonderful day. If you are battening down the hatches due to Sandy...my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hey Cinnamonkey - you rock.

I have Cranberry Autumn in the steeping drawer (I love saying that!) - I'll let you know what I think about it in another week or so.

Hey LisaL...you rock too. :)

Thanks for the heads up on the Cranberry Autumn Tea. It's been giving me the hairy eyeball every time I visit Ahlusion's website. Eventually, I am going to get my hands on it, especially if Canyon Sun rocks my socks.

True story (back to this feedback horse I was beating on earlier)..as you all know, BVC and I have this early morning coffee ritual together each morning. It's an amazing liquid, by the way. I could sing it's praises to the heavens, not because it needs hyping..but because it really is nice to have a juice that starts MY day off just right. Back to the story.. I initially received BVC as a sample upon request after an email to Wlad regarding what I was looking for. I loved the juice so much, I emailed Wlad way before I got the "feedback" email. I was saying "hey, this stuff is delicious, but what do I do to order 30mls of it? It's not up on your line-up and I can't order it yet on your menu. Wlad comes back and says..well you get the picture he told me what to do so I could order my lovely blue bottle of Blueberry Awesome Cake. I did what he told me, order made..in the middle of their move, no less, and because I ordered more than $20 I also put on the instructions "free sample if you can, yadda, yadda, yadda". Order comes up as pending..no free sample..but honestly no biggie there, because I read that samples are done as available and I took into consideration, their move, the electricity issue they was having, their equipment and stock having to be moved..etc etc.

So..I get my package, and open the box and look at the invoice (I didn't even notice this on my tracking emails because I am looking for "accepted, bottling and packaging, and shipped), I notice that my 30mls of Blueberry Awesome Cake was actually free. Totally made my day and put this huge grin on my face. I emailed Wlad saying "thank you (over and over)" and apologized because I didn't want them thinking I was greedy about the sample request and expected anything...HELL they went beyond A+ on this order already. Wlad responded (and honestly, he didn't have to--I was just saying thanks) and said "actually that was my bad on the sample..remind me next time...". Total...amazing...moment right there. Customer service? They have it in spades. I'm not going to take advatage the their kindness, though. I am sweeping Wlad's "my bad" (because there was no bad..BVC was a priceless gift!!!) under the carpet and pretend I didn't see it. No one has ever been so accomadating and kind since I started vaping.

Yes, I will still add a request for a sample flavor if my order qualifies, and if it's available. But let's be honest here, that 10ml sample is a $9.00 freebie no matter how you look at it. It's a generous gesture by the owners who always go that extra mile for their customers new and old. My experiences are living proof of that. I'm nobody special. I am not military or anyone above the norm..just another human being on this road we call life.

not only mince pies, and fruitcake but also Christmas pudding Tez. People may be rude about English fare, but in all cases they forget one hugely important ingredient .....

........

BBBBBRAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDYYYYYYYYYYYY:drool:
I'm just glad you're not having Wlad make me a Fruitcake or Mince Meat Pie Christmas juice, Cinna! :)

Aha! That's because of the post above. In UK, when you make the cake for a wedding (or for Christmas) you put it in a tin and inject it with brandy for 6 months. That particular cake is then encased in a Royal icing ( a hard icing) that encases it. You can put it in the freezer, crack off the icing in a year's time, re-ice it and celebrate the 1st wedding anniversary with it.

I'm definitely down for the fruitcake. It was an acquired taste, for me. Now I even like the mail order tinned ones with the half-life of 200 years.

Hi K Rose, Lauragal and Newbie2EC and to all our East side buddies, I hope the only big storm you have to experience is the one supplied by those dratted doomsday reporters on the telly. Drive me nuts they do smacking their chops and almost drooling over these situations. Batton down the hatches, charge all your batteries, and hopefully it will all move on very quickly and without damage. Be safe

Enjoy the sun. We are bracing ourselves for the storm here on the east coast.

Hey all, I remember someone somewhere in the deluge of posts in this topic said something about the aromatics not needing the steep time that many of the other flavors do. I have some BGB arriving today and I'm chomping at the bit to try it. Thoughts?

Hope everyone in the east stays safe this week.

I'm 99% sure that BGB requires no steeping time. You should get a little note on your receipt letting you know. ;)

Do the "need" to steep? No! Do they benefit from a steep? Not really, though they may tone down a bit, or have the sharp(er) corners rounded out ever-so slightly.
