I rabidly avoid giving hardware recommendations. People taste things so differently in different devices. I personally can't vape out of a carto, but does that mean they're a bad device? Of course not.

novas taste better to me than anything besides straight dripping *shrug*

We are all different.

I completely agree with both points, GT! While dripping will generally give the best vape, I've just never liked the act of doing it, except to sample flavors. That's what got me into bottom feeders (and most recently atomizer tanks :vapor::vapor::vapor:). However, I also use Vivi Novas. While admittedly, I find that my other feed systems are generally superior (because they're just like actual dripping), on many of my juices it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I never liked cartos either, but was recently shocked to discover that some juices actually tasted better out of a friend's carto that I tried. I've always been puzzled when people say that Vivi Novas mute flavors, as in most cases this has not been my experience, but I think GT is right -- maybe they work better for some people than others. Plus, they've had several versions, the different atomizer heads use different wicks, and there have been a lot of knock-offs. And to top it all off, different juices have different properties, and no one delivery system will work equally well for all of them. Twenty different people will give you twenty different opinions on any given piece of hardware, but ultimately what gives you maximum enjoyment out of your juice is the best thing out there.

This just in: "We've been open for a few days to give almost everyone a chance to order some e-liquids since we've had a very sporadic schedule the last month. As of next week we'll have to stick to a certain time schedule until we've hired and trained the appropriate personnel (yes, we're still hiring).

From Monday through Friday, we'll be open from 10AM to midnight (ET), and we'll be closed in the weekends for the most part, except for on special occasions such as sales or other events."

Mon-Fri 10AM - midnight (ET)
Sat-Sun - Closed (except for special occasions such as sales or other live events).

God bless 'em! It still sounds to me like they're pretty much working 20 hour days, 6-7 days a week!

Ahlusion is open right now. If you are a Veteran, they are having a 20% discount today. Another A+ from Ahlusion. Our soldiers are a blessing and they should be treated as such..whether they are active duty, or here at home after helping to take care of and protect our country.

P.S. Wlad is a U.S. Marine; now serving in the reserves (check out the "About Ahlusion, LLC"--I am link deficient, so no magical linky link here)..so thank you Wlad. Not only do you have the best company in the galaxy, but you are a superhero in your own right...thank you!!!

Perfectly put, CM. Wlad, you're a hero to me in at least two ways! :) (USMC + A+)

There are others that will come in and give you much better advice than I can, but I didn't want to leave you hanging!

Typically, you should do a 48-hour cap-off steep, recapping and shaking at least once a day. After that, your best bet would then to let steep for another week at least (but I always cheat and try a bit here and there). You can also email Wlad, info (at) ahlusion.us, and he can give you information that would probably be more precise to your actual juices.

Ax, your advice was as good as it gets. :thumb:

For me, if I REALLY like a juice I will do and try whatever it takes to make it work where delivery systems are concerned. I always have clearos, cartos, and atomizers on hand in that case. Luckily all of my Ahlusion juices work fantastic in mega cartos (my preferred method). Just gotta do what works for you!

I love megacartos too! (I cannot taste carto filler -- yay me! :D) I also have good-quality clearos that don't seem to leak, but that do seem to slightly mute the flavor of most juices. :( I use different cartos (top coil, bottom coil, ohm, etc) with different voltage batts and different juices (I know, I know, I NEED a VV!)

I am eagerly awaiting some T3s to see what I think of those. I hated tanks, because they always seemed to leak/drench! I have never dripped, and don't plan to, since that seems just soooooooo fiddly and hand-consuming to me.

I'm with you on the dripping. Digging my nails in on that one!

Please do let us know what you think of the T3s, especially in regards to flavor. I've been eyeing those for a while, and I trust your opinion.

I'd skip the variable voltage and go straight for variable wattage if I were you. There are already some great devices out there, and soon I'm sure the market will be flooded because Evolv just came out with an affordable chip with a really nice blue LED screen that is going to find its way into a lot of devices.

Eleanor I have some T3's coming next week as well and I am very curious to see how they do because I despise top coil anything. I will be interested to hear what you think about them.

I've been using T3s for a few weeks and they're my favorite clearo by far. I use them to try new liquids and if they pass the test then they graduate to carto/tanks. However, I also use them for NET juices since they're super easy to clean and maintain. They're my current choice for Ahlusion Blue Grass Burley and Devil Dog, since those juices are tough on other gear.

Who makes the T3's and where did you order them? I really like the bottom feed

The T3 was developed by Kanger, with either a 510 or ego connection. It seems they flew off of every vendor's shelf so fast that nobody currently has them in stock.

I'm waiting for the release of the 808-threaded X2-T3 developed especially for Smokeless Image, to go with their X2 batteries (650, 900 and 1300 mah beauties: regulated at 3.6 volts).

The clearos I use are also the (version 2.0) SI clearos. They work with any size, any voltage 808 battery.

(Yeah, I'm one of those 808 weirdos. :p)

I've emailed Ahlusion, explaining to them I prefer VG over PG, That I really like my sweet vapes, and offered a list of some of the flavors I've enjoyed elsewhere. In thier response they recommended; Strawberry Vanilla Cake, Blueberry Vanilla Cake, Strawberry Shortcake or Banana Cream Pie. They also suggested I might try thier Caramel Coffee as a possible coffee flavor. Does anyone here recognize or recommend these Flavors from Ahlusion ?
Note to ElanorR- I never thought I'd stray from REOS bottom-feed mods because I like my mini sooo much. But I got tired of waiting for the next generation of VV Woodvils and got 2 eGo Twist and a couple Kanger T3 from Stormy Vapor Cellar. Man, Have my Eyes been Opened ! The T3 is so easy to fill, smooth and full vapor and even I can rewick these incredible little bottom coil clearos. Under 'ASST PV TOPICS' Forum there is a sub-forum marked 'Clearomizers'. Go there and look for a thread entitled 'Has anyone tried the new T3 yet', which was started by Skelley. That's where we discuss and rave about all things T3. I love mine, hope you will too !

Heh. The SVC and the BVC are two of the top favorites among the folks on this thread.

Welcome to Ahlusion, Papaw! Remember when your juices arrive, to let them steep cap-off for the first 48 hrs, then replace the caps and continue steeping for at least another 5-7 days, shaking the bottles each day.

Hope you really like them!

Thanks. I trust your advice, as always. And I just got 2 more T3 at Stormy's last week, they were in stock then....

This is to Eleanor - I loved my little 808 from volt (way back when they first came out) & their cartos were the best, lasted forever with no filler taste (to me) and the flavor was amazeballs! Im sure they have come a long long way since then :) You are not an 808 weirdo at all!

Blueberry Vanilla Cake!!! I also quite like the Caramel Coffee. I haven't tried SVC or Banana Cream Pie, but Strawberry Shortcake I'm not a big fan of (I can taste some kind of baking spice in it that throws me off)... Doesn't mean you won't like it though :) Whatever you decide on, enjoy!
