Yeah I'm sold on the Grapevine now too - thanks guys! No really, I mean itFrom what I understand A+ stayed open for a few hours today - that's heartening! I'm so torn between wanting everyone to have a chance and wanting to keep it for myself.
Oh - I'm trying Peppermint Mocha on this order - we can compare notes! Really bummed I missed out on the Sasparilla though.
I had my heart set on Sasparilla for my next order too....but excited to try the ones I was able to get ordered today...and at least I'll have my Boba Tea w Honeydew, so its kind of hard for me to complain
I'm sitting here vaping Fijian Nights right now, and I have to say that I grossly underestimated this juice. My review to Wlad was lukewarm at best, it just didn't have a lot of flavor when it was new. It's a month and a half old now, and the bottle level is testament to my attraction. This one definitely improves with significant steeping. The banana and the spice have stepped up considerably, and are making for a very attractive vape.
I sincerely wish I could give credit where it is due. I had NO intention of ordering anything "grape" flavored either, because of what I know as "grape" as used by the food industry. Blech. When it comes to candies and such, I always leave the "grape" ones alone. Somebody, and I'm really sorry I can't remember who, sung it's praises recently, right before I was going to place an order, and their description swayed me to try it. Whoever that was, I owe a debt of gratitude. I would never have tried it.
BE FOREWARNED though. It is a revelation, without a doubt, but in the end, so many of Ahlusions juices actually are, that I just kind of take it for granted now and it's not until I actually drip some more, that I think, WHY am I not picking this up more often?! It's just another diamond in a satchel of them, and there are a passel that call loudly. But for GRAPE, it is heavenly.
It really did take some time to come together. i gave it about 2-3 weeks, but went through the 10mls pretty fast. I forgot I had an XL carto filled with it though...so I took that on my trip. So at this point, it was well over a month in (and I truly believe juices continue to steep in cartos, as I've noticed massive changes with juices in cartos numerous times), and it was even better than before! I really need to get my hands on a big bottle of that as soon as they make it available...once it came together, I found it to be insanely impressive.
It seemed really heavy on the pineapple at first, but this last go with it, that banana came to the forefront, and the rest of the spices complimented it perfectly

I got Fijian Nights with my first order, and I felt like it had a lot of potential that never quite materialized for me. I'm tempted to see if I could reorder it "profiled" more for me. Trouble is, I'm not sure exactly what I'd change. Definitely it was a little light on flavor, and somewhat pineapple-heavy for me. Hrmmm....

I wish I knew what they changed in mine...and I have no basis for comparison on the original version. The pineapple was definitely prominent in mine at first, which did not appeal to me, but after a good amount of time had passed, that pineapple was hardly noticeable. At least not on its own...like I felt it was in the early stages. I also wonder if mine had extra flavor....as I am pretty particular about mild juices, and heard a few people mention this one as being more mild. So in my order comments....I said I wanted 50/50 PG/VG, but that if it was a juice that was lighter on the flavor, to give me 70% PG. It arrived at 50/50, but I did not feel flavor was lacking at all.
Well, now this is pissing me off. All this talk of grapevine and so I decide to drip a little. I have 35 6ml bottles of juice right in front of me, all different flavors and I'm searching for grapevine, and SHE'S NOT THERE! Not in the car, not in my coat pockets. I feel like a shepherd, who has 100 sheep, and frantic when he realizes one is missing. WHERE IN THE FLOCK IS IT?
Edit: Whew. I searched the laundry, everything I wore in the last two days, under the sofa and my Big Chair, I even crawled my office floor with a flashlight. Everywhere it could LIKELY be. I was about to give up, thinking my search for Grape Vine was going to be fruitless. I decided to check the car once more, and laying there on the plastic rocker cover, surely to tumble out next time I got out of the car, was Grape Vine. Oh merciful God.
Funny thing was, in the middle of my search, the Mrs. calls from HER office, Can I have more wine? Well, I know the bottle is empty, which means going and getting another, and opening it, and all the while WISHING I WAS SEARCHING. But I don't DARE tell her "Get it yourself, I'm searching for Grape Vine" because
A. She'll truly know I've lost my mind for this stuff, and...
B. She's the Chef. I'm the Sommelier. I have to be REALLY careful to do that well, lest she suggest we switch roles. I KNOW I have the juicier job at dinner, and I'm not going to surrender that without a fight.

Uh..... I have had ONE of those. My, we have different cues of attraction. NOT that I wouldn't love to try any of them, I just haven't gotten around to ordering a single one of those except CPBT, and THAT is definitely NOT ready. So sorry...
OOPS, no, two. Boba plain. Also needs steeping. well, THAT wasn't much help. Hell with it, do you have an atty? When I get a new order in, I drip a few drops of every one of them. When I get a BIG order in, like that, I can't sleep that night. It's a lot of dripping.

Seriously! This one post could just about be the greatest example of why others just don't measure up. This is so big that I don't even think it would make sense on the forum but in this thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I must say, not even just the juice and wonderful personal connections that Wlad and the Ahlusion team makes, but thinking back to when I began the vape journey.....seems like forever, but only a couple months.....one of the things that got my attention was their website. Being the techy geeky tinkering etc kinda person, the site was very user friendly and the colors of their logo just made me like them lol. I've seen many sites that either just look cluttered or have color schemes that are just visually obtrusive or "busy" that just kinda gave a bad first "virtual taste". Not sure how indepth they take the site design into consideration, but if they do it like they do their nectar, they have a good thing going.
You KNOW I'd love to help you out with that Mr. Mann, but my plate for tomorrow is full like the gas tank of a Saudi Sheik. Thursday morning flight, and of course, customers calling all day with RFQ's. Phone had been quiet for a week. So tonight and tomorrow, I excel at Excel.Sasparilla and Grapevine are calling me like a bill collector! But like the bill collector, I guess I will have to wait!

Well, I happened to be talking to Wlad a little while ago, and he mentioned who does his website. HIM AND ALLISON! Like, whoa. If I remember correctly, Ally does most of the graphic art work, and Wlad all the coding. Are they amazing, or what? But my God, man, there are only so many hours in a day...
