I would just like to say to all of you how happy I am that loving all things Ahlusion is not a prerequisite of this thread. Do I like Rick's Request? Nope! Am I going to give it away? Probably not. As much as I dislike it, I bet in a year it will be the my number one! (Stranger things have happened.) One of the coolest parts of this thread is that there is something for everyone but there is no litmus test to be on the roster.

p.s. I don't even like House Blend, but so what?!

Totally agree, Mr. Mann - I don't view this thread as a "fanboi" thread - but I guess in a way it is - and that's ok! As so many others have said on this thread, it's a place to come and enjoy the different opinions on flavors from a company that is #1 (in my book). I literally have not bought juice from another vendor since experiencing Ahlusion in August this year. I just have no need to - I have all the juice I need (and more) from this one vendor. I honestly don't know what I'd do if Ahlusion decided they were tired of this business and moved on to other things - maybe freak out??????? Can't even go there.....

So true! Although I have to admit to feeling like a bit of an outsider having CPBT taste like celery to me. I so want to have the CPBT experience you all do
But of course you are so right. What you say extends way past this thread to Ahlusion itself. They solicit our likes and DISLIKES to make better juices for us. Where else does that happen?

Laura have you tried pink label? I wasn't real excited about it but am letting it sleep a little before I give up on it. I am really missing my Boba tea w caramel and BVC but they are on their way. I also will be trying JG blend and smooth criminal.

I LOVED Pink Label the first time I tried it, no steeping at all. It is a juice I need to always have filled in a tank. I freak out a little when I get low on that one! I haven't tried any of the Boba's yet, and have BVC steeping now. JG is another of my favorites - as is Smooth Criminal (however, because of wanting to try new flavors I've not re-ordered this yet).

Well, we have THAT in common. All the love that went towards Pink Label, and I wonder what the fuss is about. To my tastes, it is nondescript. I'm hanging on to some, in the hopes that time makes it something different. Fijian Nights continues to amaze me. I was a little disappointed in it when it was new, the picture looked so promising. Now, it just gets better every day. I've been sucking it down like a madman.

I've been seeing it for years, but it still astounds me how subjective flavors are. One mans caviar is another mans brussel sprouts. Wait, I like both of those things...

LLJR, NOT going to happen. I have WAY too much respect for Eleanor, and she has WAY too much class and dignity to brawl. But if it comes down to it, better hedge that bet, Tez, because I don't see Eleanor fighting dirty...

CPBT was not one of the "standouts" from those I tried without proper steep time last night. I know that it didn't taste like celery to me, though! If I remember correctly, there was not yet enough flavor, but I'm sure more steep time will bring the flavors out.

Also, to be fair, I only used two different drip atty's last night, so some of the flavors were mixing in with others. In another week, I'll give each a try on separate atty's.

Wait, you don't like CPBT? I understand that tastes are highly subjective, and nobody is going to criticize or judge if you don't run with the party line, but THAT is just CRAZY talk!

I remember vaping CPBT brand new. I also remember my first vape of Devil Dog. If I had to choose one for mildness, I'd go with the DD. CPBT was a BEAST. Nothing but a very sharp Black Tea. No caramel, and pear? That juice was more deserted than a French laundromat. I hadn't choked on a vape since my first ever try until I hit that acid trip. Now THERE is a juice that needs some steeping!

You won't be the only one on mailbox watch... My Epipe Mod should arrive tomorrow. I will post a pic of me chillin' in my pimp chair with a glass of scotch in my left hand, while my right hangs my pipe full of DD off my bottom lip

Random thought... Celery makes me think of Dr. Brown's Celery Soda. Sounds terrible, but it is actually pretty darn good. Light celery flavor, salty and carbonated, weird but if you get a chance to try it... You should for the experience



Lucky for me CPBT doesn't taste like celery though, hehe...

Only bad thing is I spent my Provari piggy bank on it... But oh well, I already got a multi-meter from doing electrical work to test attys and stuff with... So I will survive for a few more months with the other batts I have.

That celery juice sample just happens to be mine, and I ain't about to part ways with it! Seriously though, I get where Wonderland is coming, but I had the benefit of sitting across from her as she vaped it and said something to the effect of "Hmmm...celery." I think it's coming from the pear, and I do taste pear, but if I close my eyes and think "celery" while I vape it, I don't think Wonderland is crazy (at least not for that reason ).

But all this talk of who likes and dislikes what juice and how we're free to openly discuss it is very much in the spirit of how Wlad and Alley run their business and their understanding of how our individual senses work. Hence, flavor profiling. They will not get offended if you think a flavor should be tweaked (like many vendors will, as some of us know first-hand) -- they will actually tweak it so that it suits your taste better! Although "taste is subjective" is probably the most often-used phrase on ECF, Ahlusion is the only vendor that I know of that actually understands this and embraces it to the point where it is built into the way they make juice.

I'm probably not the best person to get an opinion from at this moment, but I think you spent well. Provari finally sent me the precious screw (one. So generous. God help me if I drop that microscopic screw on the carpet), but apparently there is supposed to be a block behind it that it threads into, that is missing on mine. Nothing loose inside either, I suspect it was never there and the screw was just sitting in the hole when new. Only thing that kept it from falling out was the clear plastic screen protector over the LED window which overlapped the screws. So much for quality control. I need a backup that will take an 18350 batt, and I'm going to buy a gripper or something to throw in my glovebox. I was going to get a second provari, but THAT ain't happening.

I had to send it back on my dime, and was told they'd "Let me know if there would be a charge for the repair". I'm longing for the day when provari shows up on this forum typed as .......! It is the worst customer service I have seen yet in my vape experience.

That's what I said! The celery thing is just too weird. I don't have any CPBT of my own, but I've tried Tez's twice, two weeks apart. The first time, it tasted like celery and only celery (and I greatly dislike celery). The second time, I first tasted the pear and thought, "oh yay, it doesn't taste like celery anymore!" But the second vape: celery! I love caramel, pears, and black tea too so it's extra strange. I'll have to consult with Wlad one of these days on where he thinks the celery might be coming from.
