Being sort of new to the diverse group of interesting folks that hangs out in this thread... Hopefully this doesn't come off as strange or outrageous, haha.
I was wondering if any of you guys would be interested in starting a Social Group Forum, similar to "The BWB Crew"? You can check the sub-forum they have going on here... The BWB Crew
Basically, I can see some huge advantages to creating a place for the people here to hang out and talk about multiple subjects and topics outside of a single thread in the General juice Discussion forum. We would be able to create specific threads to discuss things like music, hardware and anything else that we wanted... And of course the juice, hehe.
I have had experience in the past helping to run and moderate forums, so I would be happy to join up with some of you guys/gals to get this thing off its feet... I just don't have to time to do it all on my own. I can glean from some of the past posts in this thread that there would be some interest in this kind of thing... Based on the fact that people have talked about creating an outside forum to continue these discussions when the site goes down. This wouldn't solve that problem, but I think the other opportunities it would open up might be worth it? Maybe even, but I am not totally sure, Wlad and Alley would be able to drop us a line or tell us we are nuts there? The Social Group forums on ECF are outside of the standard forum moderation rules, unless asked otherwise... So the vendor interaction may not be outlawed? I will look into that, but wanted to see if there was any interest before I put more effort into it.
So what do people think about this?

Of course there are other debates that will arise if the interest level warrants this kind of change... Like for example, what would the group be named, haha.
Thanks in advance for reading this and responding in any way you find appropriate... I think the level of support for this needs to be great enough to justify it... It would only take a handful of us to make it happen, but it would take everyone here to keep it alive. So again, share you thoughts, good or bad
P.S. I wonder if one of the people here that have an inside track with the A+ crew could find out if they would support moving this single thread conversation into a realm of it's own, and off of the front page of the General Juice Discussion forum?
