Browsing through Ahlusion's website and noticed a few things. First, they are open for business! Surprised to see them taking orders this late. Also, a new flavor to order called Ice Kiss, a creamy peppermint, and will be a must have for me. And best of all, though it's not available to order yet, a cigar flavor! Dulce Cubanito. Holy cow can't wait.

I received a samle of the Ice Kiss in my last order & I think that was the fastest I ever went thru 10 ml of any flavor! It is amazing & a must try, IMO anyways. ;)

Should be getting my order from them today...can not wait for my Shamrock...oh how I have missed that flavor!!! :D

Not allowed to join Ahlusion. "new registration temporarily disabled", "closed". Cannot even sign up for their wishlist. Too bad, their reviews sound great. NET is unbeatable, and HHV and goodejuice are my favorite partners. I would like to try their Burley or devildog. Texas time 1 hr. ahead, I guess I keep missing the boat. I have tried their site at 4:00 p.m., eastern time.
I haven't found the secret passage, maybe someone will share their secret code and "let me in"........

It appears ship times are long, and new members are next to impossible. I'm glad someone is making money en Del Norte......
Yeah, same thing here. I'm over it. Not worth the time spent already.

Good morning and happy Thursday. It's been a while since I have posted here, but since it's fairly easy to keep up with reading, I thought I would take a moment and chime in.

Ahlusion's customer service, for me, has been the best I have received since I started vaping back in 2011. It's why they are the only vendor I have for ejuice now and I have only been using them since I started with them back in...August? September? All of my emails have been answered, even some that I sent just to say "thanks" and didn't need a response on. Not only has Wlad himself been supportive, kind, and full of knowledge, but I can count on two fingers the number of emails that I needed to do a little nudge and say "did you get a chance to look over my email...I'd usually wait about a week before sending said nudge and he would email me with no problem. Considering that all emails received have come from him, I will hazard a guess that he and Alley are the main ones sorting the emails.

Two people. Two people with extremely high standards for customer service. You don't get generic"insert text here" emails or responses. They are well thought out, and extremely thorough. If all of their customers are sending emails and non customers are sending emails....that's alot of dang emails. Add in the fact that they have moved, been working hard to implement a new system, and striving to go above and beyond in all they do...sometimes something like an email could get missed or overlooked. It's possible. They are briliant creators of eliquid...but at the end of the day they are still human beings. It can happen in any business...even the best ones. So yeah..if you don't hear from someone within a few days to a week, it's perfectly fine to send a follow up email.

There's also a phone number on the website with a list of business hour times (on the "contact us" link). I've used it myself quite a few times, especially when I don't have time to sit and compose an email. Life is hectic for many of us and there are only so many hours in a day. I don't think I have ever had one problem giving them a call.

My two cents on this...customer service from Ahlusion has always been way above par. I have found the people of Ahlusion to be kind, considerate, extremely helpful, full of knowledge, and willing to treat me as something beyond an order number. But as a customer, I feel it's my responsibility to be pro-active in communication, polite, and most of all considerate of the fact that there is a possibility my email just might get lost in the shuffle every once in a while, because while I have a question, or a comment...so do hundreds of other people from all over the world. Frankly, when I think of my own work emails that I have to attend to on a daily basis, and the phone calls, and the fact that everyone's problem is somehow life and death (sarcasm at it's fullest), and how I have to maintain patience, smiling, and positivity.....I don't know how they do it and not go insane because they do it 24 hours a day, while I just go home at 5-6pm.

I noticed that Icey Kiss up on the site yesterday, and I am extremely interested in giving it a try. I love the Sleigh Ride, so I am always up for a good minty. I have some Shamrock on it's way, and I have been waiting for that one since I first saw it. March became like Christmas all over again.:D

Yeah, same thing here. I'm over it. Not worth the time spent already.

Understand. I gave up on several vendors for the exact same reasons. Even had this conversation with Wlad himself. He had no idea the demand would get this big or grow this large. Wasn't planning for it because he didn't expect or intend for it to grow like this.
He won't compromise on their standards of quality or custom profiled juice. He had to make some very tough choices about 6 months ago. That's were the Xpress line idea came up.
I can tell you it bothered him a lot but he felt like he had no choice but to throttle the site capacity back and slow down the growth. He encourages folks to use and try other vendors.
I expect ordering from them will get a little easier after all their changes and additions are ironed out but they will still probably have some capacity contraints.
Hope things are well in my old hometown. I still miss the barbecue and the calabash style seafood.
Frankly, I don't appreciate your patronizing, sarcastic comment.
Yeah, sorry about the sarcasm. It was just hard to pass up.

Why do you think someone who has spent weeks or months or years coming up with a recipe to create a flavor like nothing else -- a flavor that has to be mixed in different ways with different media to create an end product in high demand that he sells for $.50 a ml or so -- would gladly hand you the ability to produce it yourself in any quantity at a lower price than the one he charges? I don't know how that request could be taken seriously by anyone. It seems to me to be obviously unreasonable. I'm sorry if you don't understand why.

I'm sure this response won't make you happier about the situation, or about my snotty response. But your original post inspired my worst tendencies.

Awesome! These will all be new to me. Haven't had a peach or cherry NET, nor an absinthe vape. Eden I got from House of Liquids is an apple NET hybrid and I'm loving it. I've always likes fruit vapes, fruit+NET is a category I plan on delving deeper into.

I've got an order in with HoL Eden now. How long did it take to get your order?

I dunno. I must be a weirdo or something, because I personally don't find it necessary (or even especially appealing) to form some sort of complex "relationship" with every tradesman with whom I do business. In fact, I think the whole idea is a bit bizarre.

So, yeah. I do like a couple of Ahlusion's flavors a lot; I think they make a very good product (though not the only good product on the market by any means). I'd certainly like to keep ordering from them, but, on the other hand, I don't particularly want to go into psychoanalysis over it. I've never met "Wlad" and "Alley" - whoever they are - and I don't feel that these people are somehow obligated to respond to my every whim, monitor my vaping habits, or create special juices just for me.

Honestly, I wish they'd just make juice, put it in bottles, and send it off in a timely fashion.

Perhaps the Express line will be more like that? I hope so.

:)

Well, Kropotkin, the whole idea of vaping is a bit bizarre in general as well, wouldn't you say? I get plenty of funny looks when out and about with my VMOD or dripping some liquid into a 510 atty on a VAMO. :D I think the idea of building relationships with people who serve you is crucial to getting the results you desire, regardless of the industry. I just think that doing so with liquid adds an extra layer of bizarre to an already bizarre situation. But, hey, I kinda like it. Your not liking it doesn't make you a weirdo. It's just the way you feel, and there's nothing wrong with that. Wlad is a fountain of knowledge on many many issues regarding this industry. He just an all-around really good dude, and he genuinely cares about keeping his customers away from smoking.

I'm not saying he's not a great guy. (I've never met him, so how would I know?) I guess I'm just wondering why people have become so, ah, n̶e̶o̶r̶o̶t̶i̶c̶ emotional about this particular company?

I mean, wouldn't this great guy find it a lot easier to do his job if the customers didn't demand all this hand-holding all the time?

I'm not trying to be difficult. I just don't understand it.

There's actually no one demanding to have their hand held. Well, maybe some do, but not me. :D For the majority we are taking advantage of what this company has to offer that makes it unique. It's almost like having your own DIY lab, with 140+ suggested flavors, where you can tweak it to your liking and have someone else do the work. Yes, you pay a price for that, but it's worth it in my opinion. I think this started as more of a side-project for Ahlusion, and then blew up into an overnight success. In my opinion, they do their job just fine, and that is why they see nearly a thousand orders a week. They'd easily have several thousand a week if it weren't for the current restrictions. I dunno, just my thoughts on the whole thing. It sounds like the Xpress line will fit your needs well. I'm also excited for that line to go live so I can try some of the flavors I'm a little unsure about, with minimal investment.

Congrats, McG. Welcome to Neurocity. :p It's all an uphill emotional battle from here!

What did you order?

Tiramisu, JG Blend, and smokin' cherries. I would have ordered much more (there are about 10 that really interested me), but I don't want to go with a big order with a vendor I have not tried before especially since there aren't any sample sizes (if the xpress was available I would have ordered more). I know reviews are positive, but I made orders with other highly recommended vendors where I didn't like any of their stuff at all. These just where ones that were the most interesting to me with some variety.

Don't forget when ordering to request a sample with the details of how you want it in the comment section. For any $20+ order you get a free 10ml sample of your choosing, almost any juice exept the aromatics and a couple other exceptions.

Not long at all. I got it in a group order so don't even remember how long it went from order to arriving in the states. Definately under 2 weeks, maybe 5-10 days?

Yeah, we had the order in a week and a day. Shipped Tuesday from the UK, received here the following Wednesday.

Nonsense, apologies always make me happy. :)
That being said, I don't think you understand what I am asking them for. I am ***not*** asking them if I can buy the recipe. I am not asking them for "the ability to produce it myself in endless quantities". I am simply asking them if I can buy the flavoring minus the pg, vg and nic.

I can say that Ahlusion does not offer any of their "flavor creations" as just flavoring. The only flavorings they offer are the ones listed on their site. I know this because it was asked of them about a year ago & that was the response given by them to the person asking.

Also remember that Ahlusion does not, nor can not, post in this thread or on ECF at all...in case that matters to anyone. :)

I'm not trying to be difficult. I just don't understand it.

Have you seen the HHV crew.....er Army or the AiV Vapelandians? Some people just connect with the juice first then the people that make it. Some people have no problem reaching out to the vendors others are content to just buy the juice and be faithful customers. Just like there are all types of personalities in all walks of life, you have the quiet ones and you have the more vocal.

First there is the liquid that's brings people to a thread. Then the love for that brings these individual's together and friendships form. They start talking and someone decides to contact the vendor and builds a relationship with the vendor. Word spreads throughout the group that this vendor will listen and is willing to interact with his customer base. Soon more friendships form and the loyalty skyrockets. This doesn't happen overnight, it is a process that takes time.

I happen to love HHV and am one of the Army. I have tried Ahlusion. It just wasn't a fit for me. No big deal. I won't bash because of my taste. As with AiV, at this time I'm not willing to go through the long wait to get the juice because I know the way I am and I will have to let it steep which makes me even getting to the point of trying it too far down the road.

There are tons of threads on almost any vendor if I wish to try that vendor. Wait times, different takes on the flavors and almost anything related is easily available for research. Since I do read about what different vendors are going through, growing pains and such, I can choose whether I'm willing to go through the hoops to try them or if I'm willing to wait until everything settles down. If they are that good, they will still be around when it Is easier to order or delivery is faster.

Friendships do happen even through a typed medium. Peoples personalities come through very clearly through the written word. When those friendships happen it is a really cool thing. We recently lost a friend that was a regular on the HHV forum. I cried because even though we had not met in real life, he was very much a part of my life. I'm getting teary while typing this even now. It isn't about just the juice, if it were I wouldn't be on ECF.

If, after knowing that a vendor takes too long, a person complains. Why? It won't change anything. The people that have a relationship and a love for the vendor/juice don't care, why should it bother me? There are soooo many different vendors out there and they all have a fan base. If they didn't, they wouldn't stay in business. There is a juice vendor for everyone, it's just a matter of finding the right fit for you and what you're willing to deal with. Obviously there are those that don't mind and plan for those long wait times. Really, I can't figure out why all the hostility. If someone could explain that one to me......

Sorry, I got carried away. One thought led to another etc.... And turned into a rambling rant.

Just my two cents.
