Could this ring also be made to make adjustable air hole sizes. It wouldn't have the cup in it. It would have a series of different sized holes drilled in the band. THe RM2 would have a very large hole drilled in it. THen you could twist the ring to select the air hole size that you want to use. Just twist the ring to line up the holes. I'm just throwing things at the wall to see if anything sticks.

I had another thought. THis would take some skill but I've seen a lot of skill around Reoville.

This design with different size air holes that are selectable offers the advantage of also raising the hole so leaks would be minimized. It would take some skill to drill holes from the inside and from the top down to line up but not impossible. This would create an "L" air hole and by twisting the ring you would adjust the hole size.

ETA: probably the PVC pipe isnt thick enough to do this.

yes of course it could be done this way its more work and would require multiple bit changes . They would work exactly the same both ways you can control the air flow

This would work to yes the pvc would have to be thicker . Why do I have a feeling you hate the juice cup lol . I can make you your very own custom air flow control without the cup no problem even with your fancy channel I have the skill ;)

Technically, there is no need for multiple air holes. Just drill out the RM2, slap this guy on there and twist it to cover more or less of the larger air hole.

I'd check it out in a much slimmer version. IMHO, as-is, it just doesn't flow with the reo look.

Perhaps a square block to extend the lines of the catch cup, counter-sunk for the bottom-half of the ring to sit in... That way it would have a smoke-stack effect tapering up to the atty top and keeping the industrial look of the reo. The square base would fit snugly to the reomizer base allowing the top cap to be removed to make adjustments to the drip/airflow ring.

Probably too much work.

No problem with any of it. I like my 3/64 air hole and I never have a problem with leaking so I'm all set. I'm just throwing thoughts around. :)

Drill your RM2 air hole out a bit bigger, then move this band to one side to either uncover the hole completely, or partially hide it.

Technically, there is no need for multiple air holes. Just drill out the RM2, slap this guy on there and twist it to cover more or less of the larger air hole.

as a viable candidate for Reoville's Village Idiot title in the upcoming election, i completely see these points of view for Air Flow Control...

so is sealing off the airhole for me and the other Village Idiot candidates just a secondary benefit???

i've only had an RM2 leak once after a heroic squonk, then forgetting to vape, and then lay the Reo down in a compromising position...

my last sentence reminds me of something completely off-topic, but...
:)

I'd buy two. There have been times my wick has pulged the juice hole and it causes flooding, or I fill up the juice bottle and squank it like there was only a couple drops left, or squank forget to drag and set it on its side...

Personally, I would rather buy it from you in PVC white so I can paint it myself, either red black chrome or white.
