I enjoy the friendly, social environment in some of the vape B&M shops I visit. Most are nicely decorated and have couches for folks to sit around and vape/talk. But my last few visits the amount of vapor in the air just seemed too much. It was like a moderate foggy day inside...

Most of my shopping these days is for new juice flavors... But I find it somewhat difficult when sampling flavors to distinguish them from all the flavors and smells already present in the air and assaulting my nose and mouth.

My last trip I was accompanied by my wife who doesn't vape... she still smokes but after about 10-15 minutes in the place she had to go outside as the vape smells were irritating her nose/throat and she felt a noticeable nicotine buzz.

I'm thinking B&M's should invest in some sort of of air handlers to reduce the amount of airborne vapor in their shops... especially when they have a lot of cloud chasing hipsters hanging out.

I've walked into my favorite B&M before and could barely see the counter in front of me. I kind of pick and choose the times I go in now. I've noticed that at certain times of the day and days of the week the clouds can be overwhelming. At least for me anyway.

Equilibrium... I agree with the thought process. I've been in some pretty foggy stores. We usually kill SteamCigs every Thursday night. I'm down to 3mg....sometimes 0mg. No side effects yet.

No, I agree, I haven't had any side effects of any kind. I was just saying the thick air can make juice sampling a little tough.

After reading so many posts on here, I was under the impression vaping emitted nothing but water vapor...

There's several legitimate studies that show exhaled vapor is much more than just water vapor. Although the chemical analysis found the other chemicals in the vapor are at such low levels that they do not present any significant health risks.

My concerns with indoor air quality in B&M's was not due to health implications... more so just the ability to sample flavors without competing airborne vapor. Plus the shopping experience for new users or someone accompanying a vaper who doesn't vape.

The only health concerns I could see might be for parents of young children who need to stop by a shop and can't leave their kid/s unattended in the car and walk into a cloud filled room just to buy a battery or bottle of juice.

Doesn't affect me; neither does going to vape meets. But, my wife (nonsmoker) will ask to leave after a while because it begins to irritate her. Those who are exposed to something regularly will be much more tolerant of it than will someone who never is.

But, given the attention we are getting lately, both in the media and in the gooberment, it probably dims our lights. If a nonsmoker or an ANTZ were to observe the air in some vaping areas, whether it is really harmless or not, they won't see a very pretty picture. I am sure that if air cleanliness was a higher priority at these times, our mission would seem a lot more truthful and worthwhile.

The amount of vape fog in some of these vape shops is absurd.

I've been in B&M's where the employees behind the counter are having "watch this" contests. It only takes a few minutes for three cloud blasters to fill a room. I agree that ventilation should be sufficient to keep the room air at a level where you can sample juices and actually tell the difference between them.

I try to time it so that I get there early in the day when it's now crowded. I want time to talk with the counter people about this and that and compare before I buy. When it's crowded you can't really spend time and squeeze in between the other people at the counter who want to see what you are looking at.
