I have flown a lot and always display my equipment openly when going through security. If and when they take a second look I say "e-cigs". If they say anything about the size I say "just bigger batteries". I tend to get more looks and questions at the very small airports. I have taken GGs, provari, VAMO, etc. I sometimes bring a copy of the specs or ads from websites for non-mechanical units but have not needed to use them yet. My juices stay in the original bottles. Never a real problem though.

Never had a problem at all myself with vaping and going through security, or even using it in the terminal. I just put them all in the tray for scanning and they haven't asked me a question or said a thing about it yet.

As far as vaping in the terminal, I do it openly, but I don't puff out huge plumes of vapor and nobody really minds that I've seen. If you aren't comfy with that, just run into a bathroom stall and puff away in there for a few minutes.

Flown with my SmokeNV thru Toronto-Amsterdam-Dubai-Amman-London-Oslo-Toronto... Except for Toronto (while boarding) no one else bothered, not even Heathrow (which known to be a trigger spot). Yep, like another poster suggested, I too was armed with the flyers, a Cig-to-Vape comparison chart and the weblink of the supplier... which was useful at Toronto.
