So I'm going on my first holiday since I quit smoking and started vaping.

I am going to be bringing my little itaste vv v3s and some mini protanks, plus enough liquid to last me a month.... just in case!

Aside from the issue of leaking tanks due to pressure (I plan to travel with empty tanks and refill on arrival), is it best to pack my liquids in my hand luggage, or pop it in my suitcase in the hold? My liquids are mostly in those little plastic bottles with needle tips, a couple are in glass bottles.

Thanks for your advice - desperately don't want to be on holiday with no juice because it has leaked everywhere!!

Oh, and yes, I will be carrying my batteries fully charged, if I do go the hand-luggage option, what with the new rules about electronics.

I travel a couple times a month and I've never gotten any hassle about my vape gear.
I change flavors often, so I usually take way too many bottles to carry on. I usually have one of those waterproof mini tackle boxes full of juice in my checked luggage, and my batteries and a couple attys in my carry on.

I tried everything to keep the tanks from leaking but it was hit or miss. Right side up, upside down, airtight box, in my pocket- it didn't matter. Sometimes they leaked, sometimes they didn't.

Recently, I've changed to almost exclusively dripping, and it's perfect for air travel. I toss a box mod in my briefcase, and a small case with a couple loaded (but not dripping wet) RDAs, and a small (6-10ml) bottle or two of juice. It's ready to go as soon as I hit the ground, never leaks, and I don't even have to put my refill juice in a seperate bag. The bottle(s) are no bigger than eye drops, so the TSA never says anything about them showing up in my briefcase.
