Air travel with a Chuck

Any problems getting through security with a Chuck in a carry-on? I'm traveling to Costa Rica in July. I noticed on TSA's website that Lithium batteries must be in your carry-on...they can not be checked.

Well, you don't HAVE to keep the batteries IN the chuck, right?
You can put the Chuck in your Checked Luggage, and the batteries in your carry on.

I've done it many time with no problems. I keep mine in my camera bag. One guy ran it through the scanner a second time but still had no questions.

Well brother, That isn't any good. Not trying to get off topic or anything, and I don't really know anything about your situation, but with money being a little tight, also being blessed living in FL, my wife and I staycation a lot. Hehe, we break out the pouches and the cameras and go hang out with the tourists and pretend we don't live around the corner from the beach haha. Just a tip, I usually just enjoy hanging with my wife though since she's a cool gal.

Great idea TG! However Chicago has lost its intrigue for me after having tons of relatives come in and me showing them around. Perhaps if I quit buying so many pv's I could save for a vacation but then something new and cool comes out and I just have to have it!

It's great that you and your lady get along so well, keeps things fresh! I am definitely going to vapefest this year since it is close to my neck of the woods in St. Louis, me and a friend will be driving down in August.

This sounds like us, lol! I feel like I actually see everyone more than when I lived up north because sooner or later, everybody from NY/NJ area visits FL!

I took my chuck in my carry on bag-batts in battery holder in seperate pocket of bag then chuck. atty and juice in another seperate pocket and got thru w/out a blink of an eye.

Costa Rica is beautiful...say hello to the lil monkeys for me

When I travel I take a couple of mods as a back up along with a couple of eGos. I have not even had my bag cheked since starting vaping. I keep expecting someone to wonder what I am doing with a cell phone case full of CR123s and a little black box with a big red button on it.

Just to give you all an update with traveling to Costa Rica. On the way there from Seattle and back from San Jose, Costa Rica, I carried my ego(s) in my carry on. Each way through security I opted to pull them out and place them in a container along with my shoes. The security thanked me for displaying them...no problems what so ever. For this trip, I opted to leave the chuck at home...not sure why, but maybe I was a little nervous as this was my first air flight traveling with an ecig.
