I recently got the new version of an atomizer that I’ve been using for the last few years. Other than a couple of really good improvements, it has a bunch of ceramic inserts, in order to change the diameter of the air hole below the coil. I know that this is not uncommon, but I don’t quite get it: I can regulate airflow perfectly well with the ring at the bottom, it’s got 6 or 8 little holes, which is perfectly fine to adjust it to my liking. So what are these inserts for? Is it more than a gimmick?
