So can you REALLY use an e-cig on a commercial flight?

I've never done it personally, but as I was showing off my new ecig to a friend, they told me that they saw 2 people on 2 separate flights vaping. It might be best to check before hand, or like the above post mentioned, just take a restroom break.

If I were to do it on an Airline.......it would definatley be Stealth vaping.

I had vaped whilst on a flight to paris france...sat in my seat..

wasnt trying to hide it, but wasnt trying to be seen?

From what I can tell, the typical rule of thumb is if in doubt, ask. Of course, if you're going on a flight and ask, and are told no, you're going to be let down.'


But that's what stealth vaping and bathrooms are for!

I'm not sure, in the current climate, that I would want to pull out a metal tube billowing "smoke" on an airplane

I actually did it in my seat!! The guy next to me was asleep, I pulled my coat over my heas as if a was sleeping a vaped. Crazy! Also, I went to the restroom and vaped. It was actually weird feeling, and cool at the same time.

There was a report here that a smoke alarm was set off from vaping in the bathroom on a plane. I wouldn't do it. When I used to smoke I could survive a cross country plane trip with no cigarettes so I don't need to vape on a plane.

vape is only going to set off a detector if you blow a big billowing cloud of it into the detector itself. i have vaped on two flights, discreetly, no problems. i wouldn't advertise it, no, but if it's not noticeable, why not?

I vaped in my window seat, and just blew the vapor down towards my legs.
But my wife was in the middle seat beside me and no one was in the aisle seat.
