do you leave the bottle in the Reo with juice in it, when you go through security?

From what I can remember reading I think people have left it in and been just fine. There are precautions with the altitude during the flight. Like loosening the cap and not having a bottle filled up to the top.

When I go back and forth to Phoenix, I usually have less than 1/2 a bottle full in my Mini, never had any questions and never had any problems. I put them in a side pocket in my purse and they go thru with me like that.

just flew to florida for vacation last week and no problems with the juice bottle. My grand did get the swab treatment but that was about it.

I believe your allowed a 1 qt ziploc to put your liquids in for carry on. No single bottle can be over 130ml if I remember correctly, I'm sure the TSA site has the specifics. I was told by one of the TSA agents that I should take my juice bag out of my carry on and place it in the bin for the x-ray to avoid excessive bag searches.
