Hi Everyone:

I am a complete newbie and helping hubby stop smoking and start vaping. One of the things he misses is drinking hard alcohol. He loves the flavor but can no longer drink it. It dawned on me there might be some great juices that mimic it. He loved Jack, but I sure welcome all tasty suggestions.

Thanks so much!

A friend on here got some Frostbite eliquid from Mountain Oak Vapors who claims it's like Jack Daniels and Menthol tobacco. I'll send him this way to put some more input. The description doesn't mention alcohol flavoring but he said it reminded him of it.
Mountain Oak Vapors - Frostbite | 100% USA Made E-Liquid now featuring a Full Flavored Menthol Tobacco E-Juice!

One I was going to try was Rum and Cola from Vapedudes but they've been out of stock on it. I hear good things about it.
Rum & Cola Back in stock it seems! Oh boy!

I'm also a big drinker.. or I was until just over a year ago. I'm finding some juices that are very similar in flavor to some of my fave drinks, such as pina colada, and more recently, a cake & brandy. I'm really getting the best of both worlds with vaping, and without the hangovers and stinky smoke.

That rum & cola sounds good..

Mountain Oak Vapors has some great tobacco flavors that to me come across as a Jack Daniels flavor. Like a sweet smoky whisky I would say. Their Tennessee Original would be a good one to try. I had the chance to sample their Frostbite (a smooth menthol tobacco) and their Tennessee Original (straight tobacco flavor) and I think both are great candidates.

On the topic of alcohol, I got a great one today. Pina Colada from PureVapes. While it does not have tobacco flavor it is so realistic to a Pina Colada that its amazing! I cant stress that point enough. The perfect blend of tropical juices with just enough coconut to add sweetness. Not over done either. Just perfection IMHO.

I added the cold hit for a refreshing finish and its great! Highly recommend. All of the above are quality liquids in my opinion and dont taste cheap. After you sample enough vendors you'll start to see difference in quality.

I haven't tried it yet, but I just got some jamaican rum from blue mist vaping. It smells yummy. I found many juice sites have alcohol flavors. Also, from one newbie to another, Phil Busardo has helped me a lot! tasteyourjuice.com Look at his getting started section on the left if you haven't already. Lots of good info, and he charts juice prices from various companies etc.

I've tried a couple I wasn't very happy with so after I got into the DIY thing picked up some Kentucky Bourbon & some Brandy flavorings from TFA & have mixed a few different juices with them. I'm vaping a Peach Brandy right now that I mixed... it's still a work in progress but so far one of my favorite attempts.

When I was drinking my favorite flavor combination was Bourbon & dark chocolate, so that's another combo I've played with a bit. Haven't bought any pre-mixed juice in a good while but there should be some interesting such stuff out there... or you could always mix your own juice & "have it your way"! :D

Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Wow, it's been years... that's one somebody oughta do!

Yes Yes Yes they should!!! Soooooooooo

Your mission Mr DIY'er....should you choose to accept it is......to make a truly authentic recipe for Drambuie. I'm sure extensive sampling of both the real product and the juice will be necessary. I'll gladly volunteer for both, cuz yanno, I'm just that kind of person! lol

Deb I'd really be at a loss on that one except for a wild guess or two. For one thing, my DIY abilities are vastly limited by the fact that some years ago I totally lost my sense of smell due to (apparently) permanent nerve damage. For another, I no longer imbibe so I'd have to rely upon your (or someone else's) tasting & direction. I will ask you this though: have you ever tried Drambuie on the rocks with just a splash of your favorite 12-yr old Single Malt? (Quantities may be adjusted to taste, of course.) Not exactly a Rusty Nail... I think of it more as a Golden Peg. But anyway if memory (which, in cruel irony, is closely related to the sense of smell) serves, I'm thinking to shoot for a Drambuie juice you might want to start with a Single Malt Scotch flavoring & work from there. Honey maybe? I dunno. Used to love that stuff but probably haven't tasted any in over 30 years.

Anyway if you find any let me know, & Happy Hunting! :toast:
