pumpkin pie essential oil sprinkled in a Small amount of baking soda then placed (or vacuumed into) the bag :) or cotton balls that have been sprinkled with the same essential oils or simmering liquid

You think the oil would be safe to run through the carpet shampooer?

no Wrath, I would not use it in a carpet shampooer (being an oil it might stain)....I would shampoo the rugs and then place hidden little bowls containing cotton balls saturated in simmering Potpourri in them (I have used cut down aluminum cans and placed them under the furniture, just be careful to not cut yourself when cutting them down) Custard cups also work well.

Same here, although get vaguely creeper out since learning why the luscious smell happens:

" One of the more pleasant rain smells, the one we often notice in the woods, is actually caused by bacteria! Actinomycetes, a type of filamentous bacteria, grow in soil when conditions are damp and warm. When the soil dries out, the bacteria produces spores in the soil. The wetness and force of rainfall kick these tiny spores up into the air where the moisture after a rain acts as an aerosol (just like an aerosol air freshener). The moist air easily carries the spores to us so we breathe them in. These spores have a distinctive, earthy smell we often associate with rainfall. The bacteria is extremely common and can be found in areas all over the world, which accounts for the universality of this sweet "after-the-rain" smell. Since the bacteria thrives in moist soil but releases the spores once the soil dries out, the smell is most acute after a rain that follows a dry spell, although you'll notice it to some degree after most rainstorms."

Would be, but my dog turns into a shaking, panting, nervous wreck when it rains. :glare: Gets really old, especially since it rains a lot here. I feel sorry for her and love her to death, but man, I have to sedate her when it rains and that doesn't always help. Gosh, she does that when I cry, get upset, yell (not at her)...Kind of like I can't have emotions, I get upset and have to comfort the dog!

If only I could figure out how to add pumpkin smell to my carpet cleaner...

I wonder if you could add some pumpkin spice to the tank of your carpet cleaner instead of the soap?

Ah, the good ole LBE, that turns most people into AiV crazy people! ;) I don't know if I have just one AiV favorite...That would be difficult!

What will it do to someone that is already crazy?

I'm really looking forward to trying White Rabbit and Afternoon Tea.

I don't know, I was already crazy myself...But I never got the LBE, LOL!

Oh and IMHO, you won't be disappointed! ;) I love them and oh, almost everything else, haven't tried sweet tease or Mandalime yet.

P.S. NOLA Vapes on the way, King Cake, OMG yum!!! As I puff on April Moon and try to relax!

Would you care for a pastry?:toast:

My hero!
No pastry thanks. My cheat day was Saturday.
I did, however, use coffee in my lean shake this morning instead of water or almond milk. It wasn't as good as I expected. It wasn't bad, but the coffee taste was muted. I like mine bold.
