There is a ton of classic Who on Netflix and quite a lot of the 'new' ones too. If you didn't give those a shot, I strongly suggest trying it out! It's all SO beautiful!
I am soooo out of it! The last time I watched that has got to be back in 1977, and that was with the then current Dr. Who, LOL! That's like how many doctors ago?
Do you know if they have any of the old, old episodes up to the current ones on Netflix or Hulu Plus?

Did you see "An Adventure in Time and Space" last night? The whole family watched. Even the youngest enjoyed it. I won't say anything about todays episode other than I might have grabbed/punched my best friend in the arm a few times. I do hope she forgives me. I gave her wine, so maybe she didn't notice? I'm about to watch it again :p Ooh, also ordered the 50th cinema version tshirts from the BBC america shop for the girls for Christmas. They were 50% off. SWOON!!!!

Dr. Who special!!!

Lol, I'll bet millions of us spazzed all over the planet at the end. Of course, the best part of the entire thing was Clara smiling pretty as she sipped her tea. (sarcasm). I'm sorry...I just wish the Doctor was galavanting about with the Clara we first met. This one is so dull to me. Bad Wolf = major win though!

Oh oh, it's An Adventure in Space and Time, and it's showing Sunday night at 11pm on BBC America.

I spazzed at the end! OMG!!!!! And no I didn't see it...pewp...

OK, Merclipse. It tastes like soda (or pop for you in the Midwest :)), a bit like cherry coke, or coke, or something very similar. There is even that soda water taste to it. I'm vaping it in a protank with ekowool. That's all I can report now. I report more once I vaped it for a day or so.

this is how I described it to darling Nicole Monkey.........

it is a time slip, a gate........ a way back and a way forward. Cherry coke at the fountain drugstore. Some kind of exotic tea in far away tea house in Japan in 2044. Not sure how this works. Not sure how Magic works......

this juice........ is magic.

hey guys.
had a junky saturday... its the weather getting to me i think. that, or its the trapping a toddler in a box of an apartment because of the weather. yeah, definitely could be that. after the 5th hour of him alternating between yelling at me about his dad and crying about things that are gone (day 3 of this in a row) because his dad sold them... i finally surrendered the laptop and camped out in bed watching all my tivo'd shows from the last month.
now its 12:40 am and im drinkin coffee and cleaning...because thats the end result of camping out in bed all day!

please let this be a short mild winter, cuz i dunno if i can even use the word "stir crazy"....maybe "stir craz-ier" ;)

Hey, Whitechapel! :)
If you started vaping just recently (I'm guessing November of this year?) keep in mind that your taste buds are going to go through some major changes < THAT is going to make a world of difference on how juices "taste" now, and how they will 6 months down the road. You're also going to more than likely upgrade your vaping gear, which also makes a difference.

Order AiV's "Little Bit of Everything". Each sample gives you enough to fill the average size tank or clearo. Most are great right out of the box, a lot are even better with a 1 week steep. If some don't quite hit the spot for you, set them aside and come back in a few weeks and try them again.

I quit "smoking" Jan 10, 2013. I started with Mt. Baker because if the bottle said "Butterscotch", it tasted like "Butterscotch". No concoctions that involved hints of this or that, or tastes that were mystifying. Just safe, boring one flavor ejuice.
At 8 months cig free, I got bored with Mt. Baker and went on a "Sample Run", probably hit about 30+ ejuice vendors that sold samples.

Other than AiV, there were a few flavors that were pretty good, but all in all, AiV got my patronage. If I go through vaper's tongue, I've got a boat load of samples from other places that I vape up, not because they're good, just because I can't taste anything anyway so why blow burnt out taste buds on the good stuff?

So, saying that, IF AiV doesn't hit it with you well and take your taste buds out of this world RIGHT now, here are some suggestions. I am in no way trying to discourage you from AiV, they are the BOMB as far as I'm concerned, but the following vendor's samples may be the ticket while your taste buds get back to normal:

Moon Mountain Vapor
Heathers Heavenly Vapes, Top Quality Custom E-Liquids
https://www.ccvapes.com/
Velvet Vapors - Home
Velvet Cloud Vapor - Organic and Natural All VG E-Liquid from San Francisco
Welcome to SeduceJuice.com -
E-Liquid | E-Cig Liquid | Hat Trick Vapor
D&D Vapor - E-liquid mixed fresh the day you order!

That will also give you the opportunity to mess around with your PG/VG and nic %'s, although, I've got to say that AiV is spot on with their PG/VG% "as is" for me! Also, from the time I quit, my nic % has dropped from 24mg to 11mg, though I still have some high nic juices "just in case". AiV will make YOUR variation of PG/VG for regular size bottles (not samples) and extra flavor if you request it in the comment's box.

Any questions, fire away!

I just got more vape mail......an iTaste 134, looks like a Gatling gun!!! I think Zombie Apocalypse might be just the right juice to try this puppy out!:2cool:

Thank you so much for the post!

I did start vaping about a week and a half ago. I started smoking around March of 2011. I was a pack every other 1-2 days. But it varied on gaming sessions, it was easy to chain smoke during long sessions.

I do feel like hell today. I don't know if it's just me being tired or me quitting smoking.

I will definitely check out the sample pack. That sounds like the right move for me.

I do plan on getting more gear too. Right now I have the Ego Twist with an EVOD clearomizer but I have a Mini Pro Tank 2 on the way. I would like to upgrade to something and am currently awaiting to see if I can get into the classifieds. My buddy strongly recommended it, especially being a beginner. But I am a tinkerer and I really do like vaping (so far).

I do plan on hitting up the Mount Baker Vapors Black Friday sale just for cheap juice and to try out some new things. I think I will play with some of the PG/VG's too, but I don't want to spend the money on a juice and not be happy with the PG/VG. But I guess there is no other way to truly find out.

As far as my nicotine levels, the ultimate goal is to get to 0. But I've been vaping 12mg and it's been fine. I haven't been cranky like I'd get if I didn't have a cigarette in the right amount of time.

I've heard good things about the iTaste 134! Congrats on the purchase. And a zombie apocalypse reference? I like your style.

Gotta love the friends who understand a persons love of Doctor Who. Last Christmas, my friend hand sewed a Tardis quilt for my daughter! It's one of the most beautiful things on the planet! I must admit that I'm slightly jealous of that quilt. Sometimes though, she lets me wrap up in it! :D She's a good kid.

My buddy was the Tom Baker Doctor Who for Halloween. A friend of his knitted him the scarf.

I think ego twists, evods and protanks are great gear. While I totally understand that the more advanced rebuildable tanks can be totally awesome, I don't have the patience for them. I use protanks and mini protanks pretty much exclusively now. As for the 'mods' themselves, I have a Vamo, an MVP and a Telescoping Zmax but I find that I frequently use my Ego Twists and spinners too. They're just TONS easier to tote around!

Cheaper juices don't necessarily mean 'not good' either. While AIV is the very best in my opinion, I have some from other places that I truly enjoy too. I've even managed to DIY a few recipes that I like which has proven to be a life saver. When finances get crazy, I can probably vape for a year on my own stuff. It's not as good, but it's sure better than nothing!

Thank you so much for the post!

I was a Camel "hump" (non-filter) and RYO Drum smoker for 33 years so I hit the higher nic when I quit. I had originally planned on going down to 0 mg, but after getting into the "what and why" of nic when NOT ignited, I may just keep using a level of it at some degree. I guess it was helping keep the panic disorder and chronic depression in check, with my meds (now how weird is that?). It's been an adjustment, it's kind of hard to vape a mod while running a backhoe or riding a horse, although I do have a few eGo batteries and twists that I put my own pre-filled carts on.:?: What's even stranger is I hit the desert juice type juices instead of the tobacco juices........so don't try something just cause it seems a bit strange!

River's got some great suggestions! I've got the twists (VV), eVic, SiD, MVP (all VV, VW) and now the 134 (VW) which I'm adjusting to pretty easy. Top coils and I do NOT get along! It's just really strange, I started with those and it didn't matter whether it was any of iTaste, Kanger, or Evod (ok, bottom coil!), I always ended up sucking juice and leaks out of the base....urgh! And the cleaning is a bit more than I want to do, more of a time situation, and the wicks sucking up juice that eventually gets washed out. I went to the Kanger tanks, and the PT2 seems to be my choice right now, easy clean, use boiled cotton wicks, and burn the coils clean. The PT3 hasn't been out too long, waiting for more reviews. Not into the building your own coils.....YET!

Suffice it to say, I think I'll end up with a ProVari eventually, and check out some atomizers, but as it stands, I've backed up all my backups a few times over!
With your mods, shop around! Prices are all over the place and mutli tabbing several places for the same item on line works for me. There wasn't a B & M around here until recently so I was basing my purchases on posts from ECF. They steered me in a pretty good direction. Get on the email lists of the sites you visit so you can get notices on sales, coupon codes, and new items.

Cranky? Maybe hit a higher nic for a bit (you should keep some higher nic juice around just in case) but your body is kicking out all the additional garbage that cigs have in them......and just keep your water consumption up there, it helps flush your body out of all the residual "stuff".

2 unusual juices to check out with samples: Hattrick Vapes- Chinchilla Venom, has a Patchouli kind of taste, really different, and CCV: Arizona Ice Tea, it's spot on if you like the actual tea, I was really surprised! Out of all the vendors I tried, Yaeliq was a bad choice. It's out of Israel, dirt cheap, and smells and tastes like chemicals to me (also wondering if they add food coloring to it). A few new vapers were checking it out and had high praises for it, but I think their taste buds were still off.. :glare: JMO but avoid them.

The biggest thing to remember is steeping your juice! Mt Baker or High Desert Vapes (the usual "go to" places for new vapers) are great right out of the bottle, better if it sits for a week or so, but regardless of what the vendors say, most of your juices get better with age. The nasty ones usually just stay nasty and could probably strip paint after a few weeks, LOL!

All just my opinion. :2c:

Yeah NiNi has a very valid point about keeping the water intake up. I never did drink enough water and then, when I started vaping, I got dehydrated quicker. For that reason, and because drinking water is just a good idea anyway, I make sure I get my 8 glasses in every day whether I like it or not.

Poor Megan.....thankfully the MVP doesn't take too awfully long to charge. When it's up and running, you get your ADV yeah?
