Oh geeze Balwin! Glad you all survived and had a good Thanksgiving regardless!

The only black friday purchase I made in a store was a new cat perch and cat food.

Yikes Megan! I'm glad you survived! I don't go near the stores after Thanksgiving if I can avoid it at all, much less on black friday!!!

We are both fine and we really did have an excellent Thanksgiving with the kids! Life is good and I am not even sore this morning... I did however sleep in after the adrenalin rush kept me up for an extra while last night!:)

Glad to hear it! And it was fine. There were more staff there than shoppers. I just couldn't pass up a $170 cat perch for $50! And we needed cat food anyway so now we don't have to go anywhere the rest of the weekend. :thumb:

For all my animal loving friends... here is a link to my granddaughter's favorite reindeer cam. They only have a momma and baby this year but the girls love a baby of any kind! Santa's Official Reindeer Live Feed | ReindeerCam just thought I'd share it...:)

I'm glad that you're all ok. I'm sorry about the van, though. I hope your insurance covers the repairs.

Good morning Vapeland! Wishing you all health, happiness and a glorious day today! We met a cow on the way home from Thanksgiving dinner last night. We are fine and so is she... however, I don't think my poor little van will survive.

In spite of the way it appears, we had a truly enjoyable Thanksgiving!

Thanks Monkey! I think they will probably call it totaled. I like a van for the grand kids and Yoda (think full size collie and blue heeler cross) so we will probably go ahead and replace it. They should cover it, don't know exactly how much as it is a 2005. We have a 2nd Thanksgiving to go to tomorrow so will miss it as Yoda likes to travel in it, but he doesn't mind the back seat of the pickup either. We don't put him in back when we travel, too cold and he isn't used to towns so he is just safer inside with us. It is only a day trip as the cows need to be fed on Sunday morning too... it will make a long day of it!

Hope you had a good Thanksgiving too? Ours was quite nice, good food and family with a lot of visiting and football stuffed in on the sides!

Yes, we had a good Thanksgiving. Ate too much, though, as always :).

A full size collie named Yoda? That made me smile. One of my co-workers is a real Star Wars fan, and she gives me info on things I don't know, like model and make of space freighters.

I hope everything works out with your van, and you get it replaced.

Hubby has 4 pickups none new but all good, I have a grand am too. We will be ok either way... When we have a flat we don't worry about fixing it right away, just change vehicles til we get time to change it! :)

Open Range? :)
That's what a van looked like when some gal got in mine and my Percheron's face , old Patty just backed up into her van and sat down, LMAO! That old horse made quite the impression so to say......Never grab onto someone else's horse's lead  I don't like being "violent", but better that gal's van than a trip for her to the ER....geesh..........

Spent yesterday watching more "Doctor Who".....up to where Donna and the Doc join forces again. I had no idea that there was new Doctor Who, I thought everyone had been talking about the show back in the 60's and 70's. The way this is written and filmed is like a full scale movie, the special effects, music, it totally ROCKS! I've been watching more of the BBC programs in the last 2 months and they really are a lot better than what comes out of the US.:2c:

Yep! Years of open range with never a problem... Oh well! Such is life! :)

Seriously, open range is great! Yesterday drove by 2 very, very newborn calves, out on State land, they were just beautiful! Don't know why the ranchers put the bulls out when they know the calves will drop, from that breeding season, this time of the year, but those 2 will be alright. The ones I worry about calve in January, we might get a high of 28 and the temps drop like a rock.

Haven't hit any cattle yet, knock on wood! 18 years up here, so far so good! See more Angus out there now, used to be more Brangus and Herefords. The ranchers supplement their range feeding, didn't have to do that much, if any, before.

It's an ADVENTURE!!!!:)

Aw poor can but glad everything with a pulse is fine! Hopefully years later you can look back and laugh!
We had a great day, mended some fences in a figurative way, had a good time!
My hostess let me cape inside, she was very curious for a non smoker.:D
