I wish you did Morri, because you would surely get a Christmas cookie tray!! For years now, we bake a myriad of cookies at Christmas and give cookie trays to the neighbors and friends. In addition to the Baklava, we do several different Biscotti's,(cranberry white-chocolate, Christmas Biscotti, raspberry milk chocolate, and ginger apricot) 7 layer cookies, southern bourbon pecan tarts, Russian Tea cakes, peanut butter bon-bons, Reese cup cookies, ginger snaps, and date-nut balls. When I get home tonight, I'll post a picture of the cookie hoarde!

I LOVE cookie trays like that!! The closest thing I've had is my hubby's coworker whose creative interpretations of "cookies" (splenda AND sugar blended, no butter only applesauce, black walnuts in giant proportions mixed with store bought cookies...UGH) leaves much to be desired... I envy those who get such yummy presents!!!

SPLENDA AND APPLESAUCE????? Sorry....only real butter and sugar here. We even send away to a place in Ohio for our dipping chocolate for the bon-bons and date nut balls. It's hard to get a good chocolate here. If I could send you guys a tray I would in a heart beat, but we've tried this in the past and it never works out. The cookies have always arrived at their destination in a crumbled mess, and we've used UPS, USPS, and FEDEX but apparently they all think that the definition of fragile is: "Slam package on floor as hard as you can, then drag behind truck".........

Bravo! I have been preaching to my children and everyone I know to for years about fake food versus real food. REAL butter and REAL sugar, etc. You can scarcely even FIND real food anymore.

So my chick (she prefers that, for some reason she hates the word fiance) and I were sitting around last night, and something was just different. It turns out we are really missing something, and it's trying to figure out how many m&m's are in a vase or what 80's movie a screen shot came from. I fully realize it's not economically feasible for a company to give away product all the time, but there needs to be a new contest, the prize can be some tic tacs or an old ball of yarn, I really could care less, we just need to compete!
